At this point, I think I've tried just about every pedicure package they offer, and I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxing without feeling over-the-top or pretentious, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the service. The only thing to be aware of is that they haven't always accepted credit cards. They do have an ATM in the shop and also accept Venmo and Zelle, so it's never really been an issue. My wife mentioned that when she went in for Mother's Day, they had a card reader again, so that may no longer be a concern. Overall, great service, friendly people, and a place I keep coming back to. I did walk-in so i understand but if you're providing a service time should be taken into consideration & not rush, especially someones first time. This is how miscommunication happens & people don't get what they asked for. I possibly misspoke or used the wrong terminology (I don't get full sets ever & I made that clear) but I had a picture of what i wanted. So if you're the expert & "the best one there" (in her own words) then I would think you'd see something was conflicting but that requires asking & checking in with the client, not just doing what you think looks good (as quickly as possible). I trusted her process but stopped her once I realized she didn't understand & i didn't love what she did, at all. So she opted to just soak off everything & that was it. I felt bad for wasting her time (no one walked in in the amount of time I was there, so she didnt miss out on money by taking me & it not working out) but I offered after the soak off to still give her business & get just gel instead she said no bye & proceeded to aggressively & with no actual effort file & buff my nails leaving behind quite a bit of acrylic. At first, a gentleman began the removal process, and he was very gentle and careful. Unfortunately, partway through, another technician named Mimi took over. While she was clipping my nails, one of the clippings flew into my left eye, which startled me and caused pain that I still feel to this day. What disappointed me most was that she did not apologize; instead, she simply commented, "Oh, it got into your eye? We deal with that all the time in this job." I found that response dismissive and unprofessional. I have also noticed that pricing at this salon is inconsistent, with different technicians quoting different rates for the same service. When I asked about the price difference, Mimi responded in a way that felt dismissive, almost as if she didn't believe me, even though the records should have shown what I was charged previously. Another concern is that Mimi has made negative remarks about other salons I've visited, questioning where I had my nails done and laughing at their work. I found this behavior unprofessional and uncomfortable. In the past, I also experienced poor service quality. For example, before traveling overseas, I had a full set done here. By the next day, my nails were bubbling, peeling, and bleeding color. Unfortunately, I had to spend an entire month abroad with my nails in that condition. When I returned and informed the salon, they offered no compensation or courtesy to make it right, despite the fact that I was a regular customer. Based on these experiences, I no longer feel comfortable returning to One Touch Nail Spa, especially while Mimi is working there [don't matter she owns that place which that's even worse] I believe customers deserve consistent pricing, respectful treatment, and professional service.
