My husband & I's experience from day one of calling for an appointment, to our departure from the place was nothing short of AMAZING! I went with my husband yesterday for a manicure and pedicure at 1:30pm for our appointment. I got the gel french tips and my husband got the clear polish. We were immediately greated with a smile and were sat down. Kim took care of my husband's mani & pedi (it was his first time and he has sensitive feet, so he was pretty anxious), but she kept reassuring him and ensuring that he was as comfortable as possible--his hands & feet looked brand new afterwards! Gwen took care of me and she was also super sweet, gentle & was detail-oriented. I hadn't gotten my nails done in a while, so this was definitely a delightful treat. The massage chairs are a bit worn since they have been in business for some years now, but nothing too crazy to complain about there. They still worked really well, I almost fell asleep as I was so relaxed. Everything looked pretty sanitary in my opinion. They wore gloves, used clean tools, and towels. They were also sanitizing as much as they could at every step. The ambiance was also pretty casual yet relaxing. I know we paid under $200.00 (I lost my receipt--boo), but it was definitely worth it! This is now my husband & I's go-to spot, for sure!
Wanted to find a new place to get my nails done. After reading a few reviews I divided to give Glamour a shot. They did not disappoint!
Grateful I was able to make an early appointment for the next day. I called Sunday afternoon, was greeting and booked in seconds. On the day of my appointment , I was a bit late but was immediately put in a pedicure chair. The owner greeted me by name and knew exactly what services I was there to get. The woman who did my pedi was friendly, thorough and gentle. My massage was just deep enough. I was able to relax. The nail tech was kind when I needed to change the color mid application and helped me find a color I was happy with. For my acrylic fill I had to wait a bit. The wait was worth it because the owner hooked up my slightly specific nail style. This is gonna be my go to spot when I'm in the city.
Highly recommend Glamour Nail Spa - went here for Gel Manicures and Regular Pedicures for a wedding. Tiffany, Mahogany and Sandy were all great! They were very patient with us selecting colors and their work is superb!!
Took my bride of 25 years & our daughter in law to get their nails done while in Va Beach for vacation. Very impressed with all the staff & their attention to every little detail! The price was nice, for a vacation hot spot as well. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town!
I am super impressed with the quality of work in this salon. It is a farther drive for me but the reviews pulled me in and it was worth the trip. I had Jess and she was detailed, thorough, and made sure to ask questions along the way to ensure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. I did the organic milk and honey pedicure with DND flamingo pink polish. The water was hot, which I prefer. Some salons the water is just too cold or barely warm which I don't find comfortable or relaxing. The callus removal, leg mask, massage, warm towel, and paraffin wax also met the mark. The chairs are comfortable with strong massage options. Tub and tools were clean. I also did a dip manicure in pink lemonade (A16). I told Jess that I prefer natural looking shape and thin, natural looking dip. She delivered. I can't tell you how many places I've said the same thing and they deliver thick, uneven, clumpy, unnatural looking dip. Not this place, SO happy with the result. Both my pedicure and manicure are smooth, even, and shiny. A lot of colors to choose from: DND gel and regular polish, SNS dip powder, mood changing, cat's eye, OPI, and more. Very pleased with my visit. I will be going back! PS card accepted for services but tip must be in cash - ATM on site.
I love Ms. Kim! Y'all she's great, my nails always look good and she's hilarious. I've been coming here for a while, I moved and I had to pause getting my nails done. I came in 8 months later and it was like I'd seen her 3 weeks ago. Jade is the lovely young lady who did my nails most recently and I cannot say enough great things about her. She's very gentle and her application is perfect. I had my girls' nails also done, w/ gel. They loved it and the polish is still going strong! I always get a full set of acrylic, generally long and pointy. They are strong and long lasting. I'm incredibly rough on my hands, horses, dogs, manual labor etc. I don't even like reading reviews from other salons, I'm going to nit pick. I'll just drive the 30 mins, happily.
The absolute BEST nail salon in Virginia Beach. Kim and everyone there are just so wonderful and attentive. I tend to get designs so am appreciative of their effort in always giving me what I want! Thankful for this establishment.
My nails were looking pretty ratchet. I've had difficulty finding a nail shop in the RVA area, so I decided to take a chance in VA Beach while on vacation. I found this place after reading reviews online. They responded immediately and got me in within an hour. Jessi was amazing! Super friendly and educated on nail health. I was going to do white because I didn't feel like going through all the nude colors. She suggested the perfect color based on listening to what I wanted. I love that they do a manicure with the gel dip and do not place gel on top with a UV light. I did not get a pedicure, but may book one before I leave town. The lady doing the pedicures made me feel relaxed by just watching her! I will definitely be returning! Local or vacationer, book an appointment today. You will be pleased. Tip: bring cash for tips!
I hate to be the one to leave negative reviews but I am currently in tears. So I'm new to Virginia Beach and I was looking for a place to wax my brows and made a horrible mistake by coming here. I originally was so excited to find this place as it had good reviews. Everyone was so nice when I walked in but the lady who waxed my brows literally burned them and waxed my skin off. This has never happened to me before. I'm only upset that the lady didn't tell me anything about it. She let me walk out of the salon like this. I even tipped her without noticing what had happened to my brows. I literally got into tears when I got into my car and looked at my eyebrow's closely. My brows honestly hurt and I've been crying, hoping that this burn won't scar. Im just genuinely upset that the lady told me nothing about waxing my skin off and proceed to let me tip her and walk about like this. I should've have gone back and asked for a refund at least but I didn't want to start a argument. At this point I just hope my eyebrows heal and don't scar. End of story, do your research before waxing your brows here or anywhere.
Update (already, I know): Not even 36 hours later and not one, but two of my nails were chipped and peeling. Came here to get them redone and it was completed free of charge by a different technician. Has me worried if I'll even make it to the one week mark with this gel polish set. Fingers crossed, but won't return if this happens again. 3.5 stars. Stopped by here before they opened for an unplanned day of relaxation and so glad I did. Went in right at 930 and was greeted by an employee or owner (unsure) and was asked what I want + to sign in. The store is so beautiful and well designed plus I love how it is in a quiet shopping center. Bathroom is also clean & decorated. I sat down and wait a couple minutes before being helped by a different technician. Everything went well and my paint job looks flawless. My 10% off yelp check in was honored and I was even given a loyalty lunch card as more incentive to return. Can't wait to see how long my gel polish lasts & come back for more services
Overall had a good experience here! Kim at the front desk is very kind and charismatic. She also has a very steady hand for nail art which is so impressive. The man who did my nails seemed to be in a little bit of a rush, so the coats of polish didn't seem as even closer to the nail bed, but otherwise they look great. Overall I spent $43 for a fill in and cut down/design, which is pretty reasonable. I'll be back!
One of the best nail shops but very pricey. Beautiful interior design that gives me santorini vibes, and highly skilled nail technicians. However, You also have to watch the nail techs because they will pull a fast one on you and rack up your bill. I was asked several times if I wanted gel on my toes and I said no. I hate gel colors on my toes because it's such a pain to take off when you want to change the color. But somehow ended up with a 100+ bill and gel on my toes. I asked no questions because my nails looked great, I didnt see them pull out the light to dry the gel on my toes, plus I was in a rush so I paid and left. How I found out about the gel on my toes you ask? I went to another nail shop out of town to get a pedi and the staff kept asking me if I had gel polish on my toes and of course I said no, but they proved me wrong by showing me they couldnt rub the polish off with polish remover. I was baffled because normally gel polish requires to be curated with a gel light. I didn't get that so to this day I'm still wondering how gel polish ended up on my toes.

Absolutely amazing experience! My nails came out perfect--beautiful shape, flawless finish, and incredible attention to detail. The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and professional, and they made sure I was happy every step of the way. The salon was clean, relaxing, and had a great atmosphere. Got gel pink & white manicure, it has been lasting for days and days! She cleaned up my cuticles so well and buffed the ridges out of my nails, the manicure is beautiful and I will def be coming back here. My only gripe is that 3 of my nails had the tiniest hairs trapped under the polish, you can barely tell unless you stare for awhile so I'm happy overall. First pic is right after manicure, 2nd pic is a week later, no chips! Oh and got my brows done, too, she was great with that too, would also come back for the brows. read more
Wow. Just moved here, read yelp reviews and set an appointment over yelp with Kim. Not even a minute later she responded! Very clean and pretty place. Kim did a fabulous job! This is my permanent spot with her from now on! My dip manicure was perfect, much better than what I paid more money for in CA. I did gel and mango pedicure which was also fantastic! Great scent and great price. Organic scrub with a remarkable massage! Literally almost fell asleep in my chair. Chair is also a massage chair! I had broken my toe nail pretty bad and Kim fixed it no problem! She was so sweet and thorough. I've never had a mani pedi done with such care and attention to detail! Highly recommend!! They do accept walk ins but I recommend setting an appointment so you can get the people you want. read more

Recently moved to the area and was looking up nail salons, read some amazing reviews and decided to make an appt. staff was very welcoming as I walked in, asked how much it would be for a certain design and picked this one. *I believe the lady who did my nails her name was Phoenix * and she did an Outstanding job from start to finish, I've never had my nails looking so good I paid $70 for the whole set/design and all, but it was totally worth the money. Filing was on point, the shape came out beautifully and the gel color was exactly like the pic I referenced to and the lines are clean. I'll definitely be back!! Also they take pride in what they do foe the customer. One of my best nail salon experiences yet!! You definitely get what u pay for if not more because I walked out with a smile on my face read more

Went in as walk in. I'm new to the area and on the serious hunt for a new nail place. Salon is super cute. Owner is SUPER sweet and friendly. Jess did my gel mani and regular pedi & she was amazing. She made sure I left happy! I did wait 30 minutes but I was told that right away and honestly as a walk in I knew I would have to wait some time. did a beautiful job as usual ! love this place, it's always clean and welcoming. i showed up as a last minute walk in at 6(they close at 7:30) and the tech stayed late to finish my full set with multiple designs. i'm so absolutely blessed since i was having an early valentine's day weekend with my boyfriend. i've received many compliments from my friends as well as strangers, almost all asking where i got them done ! can't wait to actually schedule an appointment for next time lo read more

Extremely overpriced nails, dents in the finished acrylic, horrible paint job on toes, worst pedicure I've gotten in Virginia Beach, incorrect detail and pricing on pedicure descriptions. Want to nickel and dime on cutting nails down, but can't honor what they have listed in products you're paying for. I would of asked him to fix, but after asking to do so many things to fix already and being in there over two hours, there was no point. As I was about to leave, saw residue from the clay mask on both of my legs, so I asked for a wet towel to remove and instead of a wet, warm towel that was another 20 feet away, he uses a dry one, hurting my legs and leaving marks. Leaving two stars because the solid color on 8 nails looked decent and availability was wide open, now I know why. read more

It was my first time visiting this nail shop. I liked how fast Glamour nails responded to my appointment time on yelp. They were able to squeeze me and my gf to get our nails done. I was hesitant because I normally go to my usual nail shop but I wanted to check them out based off of their reviews and give them a benefit of a doubt. They offer sns, powdered dip and gel and luckily if you check in with yelp, there is a 10% discount off of your service. I initially wanted to get a mani and a pedi. The pedicure chair was ok. I wasn't as comfortable in it because I couldn't get the massage chair dials to work for me. It seemed so difficult just to recline my chair. The nail tech had me press harder on the remote control and TADA! Finally...but unfortunately honestly it isn't user friendly. It was my user error to blame though. I do wish that the controls and the pedicure chairs were more uptodate. I've had my good share of relaxing pedicure stations based on my comparison. But it was no biggie. As my pedicure began. I chose my colors. They have a lot of selections to choose from. My foot was soaking in the water. I agreed to have my my toe nails cut down. He cut TOO short and on one occasion I had to wiggle my toe so he wouldn't cut my skin. I was seriously about to stop and tell him. But I didn't. I thought to myself, what could be worse. My inner voice said, "give him a chance." Next I had gel on my nails.. so he had to get the electric filing machine out to buff it out. Honestly, he may had not known but he was careless.....again.. Instead of buffing the gel out of my nails he would miss and get my skin! Ouch:( This regular pedicure which was then supposed to be relaxing.. ended up into a helpless charade. I stopped enjoying the moment.. It began spiraling down. Then my nail polish of choice was about to be painted. Why? Why me? He had put on the wrong base coat and I realized he didn't fully clean it off well. He then finished the polish... I changed my mind of getting my manicure. l paid with my card. Unfortunately, I wasn't informed that I couldn't apply tip to my card transaction. It would help if they had some signage saying tip is "Cash Only." I didn't want to pay an atm fee just to take out tip. Had I known initially I would've stopped by my bank. He told me that," "it's ok." I apologized and left. Heard lots of great reviews on this nail salon and I am so glad that I went in. I have gotten a few dip manicures from other places and haven't been as nearly as impressed as I was with Glamour. Kim did an amazing job and I will definitely make this my regular nail salon. Julie did my nails also this last time i came in and she did an amazing job and both the manicure and pedicure! Highly recommend her and anybody really here to do your nails! read more

Honestly, I'm going to let the picture speak for itself. Kim took me in last minute, finessed my nails and made them look exactly how I wanted them to look for my wedding. My sisters have the best nails in the game and when they saw Kim's work they were stunned. All the ladies and gentlemen in the shop were receiving compliments after their work, so I don't doubt at all that they are pros. Kim is an angel on the hands though! Whew! read more

Do you do tips with gel?
It calls acrylic full set. Can’t glue tips on your nails and then put gel on top, everything will come off in a day.
Do y'all do clear tip acrylics? If so how much?

Is there an experienced tech that can do ombré VERY well? Is the ombré acrylic or SNS?
Yes ma’am. We can do Ombré in both forms : acrylic and SNS dip powder. We don’t take walk-in, appointment only for ombré nails.
How much for shellac on real nail?
Im not 100 percent sure but they have excellent pricing. Probably around 30.00. Id call the shop. They are open on sundays
