I highly recommend this location. The staff is awesome! I love Avianca. She's very informative in everything that she is going to do so that there are no surprises. She makes an uncomfortable situation, comfortable. When greeted by the receptionist, they make me feel like I've been going there for years. Try it out, you won't regret it. read more

I had my first ever sugar-experience today at the Haygood location. After reading reviews on yelp, I wanted to give Braziliant a try... and I'm so happy that I did! Veronica made me feel comfortable throughout my entire appointment . She was also very knowledgeable about the science behind the hair removal she was doing. The studio space was inviting, calm, and very clean. I also felt that the prices were very reasonable. I will be returning! read more

Braziliant - Front Desk / Waiting Area - Sugaring Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Clean safe studio with a staff of professionals that keep you well at ease through any waxing service. I've been going for nearly two years and have always had a positive friendly experience. 100% recommend! read more

I just wanted to update my review because it's been 3 years since I've started coming here and to this day, they continue to impress me. Braziliant is continuously evolving with the staff and services. They now have a second location! And of course, my girl Avianca still gets me right with the sugar wax! read more

I've been a regular customer of Braziliant and Avianca for a few years now. The online booking system on Vagaro makes it easy to schedule appointments ahead of time and check if there are any same day appointments. Their Oceana location is easy to find with plenty of parking, and it is always clean! Avianca is the best. She is a great conversationalist to keep you distracted during your appointment. I've always had a great sugaring experience with Avianca and Braziliant, and I haven't gone back to regular waxing since. read more

Very clean and friendly environment. My first Brazilian anything! I got sugaring twice so far my technicians were Andrea and Chelsea they were efficient and informative. The pain is unexplainable but so worth it! read more

Looked in the mirror and realized I needed my eyebrows done right away. I called to see if on the off chance there was availability today and YES there was!! I was able to get in and see Katie. I'm going to say that this place is about $5 more expensive than say "Hair Cuttery" eyebrow waxing however, the extra amount is WORTH it!! Katie has not only shaped my eyebrows but she created a Plan of attack for keeping them looking great and also for future shape. read more

Braziliant - I saw the HARES sign on the window and missed The Braziliant sign -dont be like Kristen lol - Sugaring Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

Brazilians are never painless but they can be quick, I mean under 30 minutes quick. Asia literally has magic hands, she distracts you as best as possible and waxes you as quickly as possible. There are very few sugaring places and this is one of the best ones. Sugaring is the only way to go. They are priced well and offer same day appointments if not next day. If Asia isn't available Daleesa is very good too. If you're in need check them out, they offer more than sugaring, i.e lashes, eyebrows, facials etc. read more

Absolutely LOVE this place and the ladies who work here!!!!! Chelsea is by far and wide one of the best at sugaring in the local area. The rest of the team is just as incredible, they are very thorough with any questions or concerns you may have, especially about the products they have for sale in their lobby. Thanks again! I will 100% be coming back. read more

Avianca, is the best, kind, professional, she's patient and talks you through the whole process. She does and excellent job. I recommend her for your sugaring and waxing needs!! read more

Ladies!!!! Save yourself the pain! Get sugared at Braziliant. Before sugar I was a firm believer in hard wax but that doesn't touch sugar wax! Ask for Asia. You won't be disappointed!!!! read more

Booked a last minute appointment on Christmas and it was super easy to do online. They do require a card to book the appointment so make sure you grab your wallet while trying to book it! I booked with Chelsea (she had the best appointment I needed) and she was super nice. I was trying sugar scrub for the first time and I am not disappointed. Chelsea was very thorough and took her time. She has me sold on coming back and making it a regular thing for me to get waxed. The location wasn't bad either. I definitely will be coming back and adding this into my self care budget! read more

This shop is a pretty good drive for me but it was so worth it! I walked in so nervous for my first Brazilian but the decor and music helped calm my nerves. Asia was very thorough in explaining what was going to happen, how to take care of the skin after the wax, and what to do if an allergic reaction occurred. Sugaring is an awesome alternative to hot waxing and I'm a huge fan after my visit to Asia. Asia has a great and professional personality and she knows what she's doing. I ask questions whenever I get nervous and Brazilian waxes are pretty intense but Asia was quick and quite the perfectionist - she spent a good 10-15 minutes trying to get every little small hair out. I applaud her for the effort but the end result was still amazing! I love sugaring and I recommend anyone wanting to try it to go to Asia. She's been in the business for a long time and she ONLY does sugaring - one of the only places in the Hampton Roads area that I know that does this. You will not be disappointed with your results! Also Asia is so friendly and professional, I can't imagine going to anyone else for my sugaring needs. read more

Avianca is the Best!!! It was my first time "sugaring" and it is definitely not going to be the last. She made me feel comfortable and my appointment went by fast and I didn't realize I was done. She also had the best playlist so that's a bonus for me. I've used waxing for a few years and don't see myself going back now that I've found Braziliant sugaring service. I'm looking forward to my next appointment. See you soon Avianca. read more

I had never done sugaring before but i heard good things about it. This was one of the few places that i could find that actually provided the service. & i must say, I'm hooked! Avianca talked me through the process & explained skincare to me. It was a great experience! read more

Had my first sugar wax here and it did hurt a little but the amazing woman talked me through it. It was worth it and I will be coming back.

I have been to numerous places in America to get a Brazilian sugaring done and this is the best place I have ever attended! I AM SOLD! It was not very painful and in fact im some areas it was just a little snugging of the skin and that's it. On a scale of 1/10 the pain level was 3/10 compared to the other places. She was also very prompt, and thorough. I was done in about 30mins-45mins and this also included a lip wax. I live in Portsmouth and its worth the drive. I will only get sugaring Brazilians and sugaring for my entire body for now on. read more

Chelsea at the Oceana location is so professional, personable, experienced and knowledgeable! I've switched from waxing to sugaring and it's the best decision ever! I can go longer between waxes and it hurts less. They also have a clean and serene studio. read more

I've been sugar waxing for a couple years now and recently moved to Virginia. I searched for a few weeks for a place here that does it which is odd because where I'm from, every wax place has the option to do sugar waxing. I finally found Asia and I'm so glad I did. She did such a fabulous job and made sure I was as comfortable as can be. She also recommended a few products for my horrible ingrown hair problem which was great! I would definitely recommend her and can't wait to come back for maintenance. SIDE NOTE: I love that Asia is kid friendly! She let me bring my toddler along to some of my maintenance appointments cause my husband was deployed, I don't know a lot of people, and my daughter doesn't do well with strangers at first plus my daughter is kind of high maintenance. It was really refreshing compared to the salons and spas that don't allow kids. UPDATE: I am now a regular with Asia, lol. And I finally have the time to do a vajacial, which she has been trying to get me to do for the longest time due to my ingrown hair problem. She exfoliated and then went to work digging some of the ingrowns out. Like I said I have a horrible ingrown hair problem so she couldn't get them all and I'll definitely be back for another one. It wasn't too unpleasant but I'll admit I did use the numbing lotion thing she sold me at my first appointment (which I use for every appointment and totally works btw). With this service you also get a mini-massage (you choose either head, hands, or feet) which was AWESOME! read more

Due to it being my first time "sugaring" I was very nervous! Asia welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door. We went over process and went to the back. Asia explained the difference between "hard wax" and "sugar" as she set up everything. Overall it was not nearly as bad as I thought. I don't know if it was Asia talking to me and keeping me calm during or I'm just more of a champ than I thought! Lol. I def recommended Asia and Braziliant to all of my girlfriends for there first time/upkeep with waxing and sugaring. Thanks again for a great experience! Go see Asia! read more

I moved to Virginia Beach from Atlanta a little over 1 year ago. In Atlanta I went to a great place regularly for sugaring bikini waxing and honestly, once you go to sugaring from hard waxing, you never want to go back. I had to go back to waxing because I initially couldn't find anyone in this area licensed to sugar...until I found Braziliant! And thank goodness I did. The facility is clean and very well kept. Asia is AWESOME. She makes you feel comfortable and is also very informative. After having to go from sugaring to waxing and now back to sugaring, I can't even begin to say how happy I am the area has a wonderful professional licensed in sugaring and is great at what she does. I will definitely be going to her regularly from here on out! I highly recommend Braziliant :) read more

I went to Braziliant about a week ago after a HORRIBLE first experience getting a Brazilian wax about three months prior somewhere else in Va Beach. This was my first experience getting sugared and let me tell you, ASIA IS AMAZING. When I tell you I came in with my nerves on 10,000, somehow Asia was able to calm my nerves. She was so personable! She listened to my fears and appeared very confident in her craft so I felt like I was in good hands. The whole sugar experience was also very pleasant despite the fact that you're getting hair snatched out of your private area! She was quick and efficient. As long as I live here in VA, I will never go anywhere else. Before I left I had already scheduled to have my next wax done! God bless you Asia lol I was so happy with the outcome, I swear it made my entire day! read more

I regularly get sugared in California and had to find someone on a whim while in Virginia Beach. Asia is amazing and super professional. Will most definitely be using her moving forward when I'm in town. Thank you for providing knowledge and a great service read more

First - I'm an experienced sugar goer! I never skip appointments and I'm very well aware of the process. I've been sugaring for a few years with a highly experienced & certified professional back on the West Coast. That being said, I come to Asia's business with a very honest review: I recently moved to Virginia Beach and noticed that there aren't many businesses that offers sugaring - Braziliant does! Today was my first appointment and boy did I enjoy Asia's energy right from the start. Her business is located in the back of a hair salon in a cute and quaint room. Upon arrival new clients must fill out protocol to ensure they know how to take care of their skin before and after sugaring. She then gives you privacy to undress, wipe down, cover up any areas - and then the fun begins! Sugaring IS NOT easy, especially if you have a varying normal body temperature and slippery skin like myself. Before sugaring it's necessary that you have clean skin without ANY products. To ensure of this Asia, wipes down the desired areas to be sugared, sprays a toner to help make the hair perk up, and then a little bit of powder to prevent damp/wet spots as sugar wont stick to that. Sugaring has to be worked right in order for the hair to be removed from the bulb of the hair. Asia was very aware that my normal body temperature and slippery skin was going to be a bit of a challenge and managed to problem solve in choosing the right sugar paste to grasp my hairs from the root. Her method isn't rushed, she takes her time ensuring the sugar is surrounding every hair follicle and then tugs upward with a swift and quick whipping motion. (Slightly a stinger, but definitely nothing unbearable). Great success happens when you see the hair bulbs sticking out from the bottom of the sugar. I definitely saw those little bulbs after she sugared certain sections! Even greater success? Don't shave in-between sugaring, exfoliate your desired sugaring area, and return for your next appointment. Over time sugaring has proven to show that your hair becomes less coarse and not as thick in those undesirable areas with routine sugaring. It's also healthier than waxing with all natural ingredients, a plus for me because those lady parts are precious. And a little longer lasting result versus waxing. Overall Asia is great - she gets in there, so don't be shy - but you'll leave feeling confident and happy in what you paid for. I will be going again and again. If you're in the area contemplating BOOK your appointment now! Sugaring is one of the latest and greatest alternatives to waxing. As a West Coast girl where the land of sugaring is plentiful, I'm surprised Asia's business isn't booked up yet. Go see her! read more

Asia is amazing!!! I found her about a year ago and would not recommend going anywhere else! The experience is always inviting and relaxed. She recommended a sugar wax this time and I will never do regular wax again!! I have very sensitive skin and there was no irritation and it was less pull. I will recommend Asia to every one of my friend and will be a lifetime customer. I highly recommend you go here asap! read more

Today was the day that Asia converted me from hard brazilian waxing to sugaring...and I can't thank her enough. I booked an appointment at Braziliant last minute while visiting the area and I am so happy I found this place. Asia was friendly and very professional during my appointment. This place was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. She has gained a new customer today!!! read more

Asia was able to fit me into her busy schedule and was a GREAT conversationalist during my session!! She's VERY knowledgeable, loves what she does & cares for her clients which translates into amazing results. This was my first time at Braziliant, first time sugaring, but will not be my last!!! Her humble abode is clean, cozy, feminine & smells so good. She has custom products in the works made especially for our lady parts so I'll be back to get those before my next appointment as well as some facial products. read more

I went in today for my first Brazilian. Being a man, and having never done this before, I expected some awkward situations and a lot of pain, but Asia was thorough and professional and it was a much easier experience than I expected. I will definitely be back. read more

Sugaring is the best thing I have found in a long time! I have gone to other salons to get waxed, I have waxed myself but NO MORE! Sugaring hurts waaaaaay less, costs less, lasts just as long if not longer than regular waxing and is much faster thanks to Asia's skills. Asia is professional yet friendly which is always great. I have been recommending this place to every female I know since my first appointment. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

First things first... making an appointment was very easy and Asia was very accomodating. She fit me in on a Monday. I arrived and the salon is hidden behind a dentist but still in a convenient location with a small parking lot in front. She was super friendly and the wax room is very well kept, clean, and cute. I did sugaring for the most part and she did a little hard wax to get what the sugaring didn't. I don't think I was in there longer than 15 minutes which is very fast for a brazilian. She was quick, it wasn't as painful as it normally is, and the overall result was awesome! Asia is the master at her craft and if I'm ever in town again I will definitely see her again. I wish she was on the west coast! I highly recommend her! read more

Brazilian sugaring seems to be latest and best hair removal technique out right now. I've never waxed before due to the horror stories from friends and movies however I learned about the sugaring technique while in California and decided to try it. Never tried waxing, so I don't have anything to compare it to but the sugaring process is not as bad as what I imagined (like the movie 40 year old virgin). Loved the results and now keeping it up with the only place I know of that provides sugaring in Virginia Beach. Asia is quick, professional and knowledgeable about sugaring. She is direct about the expectations for the sugaring session and adjusts to make sure you are comfortable throughout the process. She is very thorough and guarantees you get what you pay for (since the first time I sugared the girl missed some spots). Asia got it all! read more
