Temecula Talk was right! This place is amazing! The food was delicious. Cooked fresh off their grill. I ordered their Gyro wrap with extra onions - the pita bread was warm, toasty and soft in the same bite. The Gyro was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My husband enjoyed his Kafta Kabob plate but wasn't crazy about the fries. The service was super friendly and attentive. They checked on us while we dined. Beautifully finished inside. Going to have to do a work lunch pick up from here! Large and clean dining area. They also have a drive thru. read more

Decent Mediterranean place. Portions and prices were fair and the food wasn't too oily or greasy which I find Mediterranean places sometimes are. Good casual lunch spot. Workers were friendly. Still prefer the Kabob House when in south Temecula. read more

The hummus is good but the process or ordering and receiving food is highly ineffective. Not enough staff to be trying to take in-person orders + drive-thru + trying to handle the requests from customers that come after the food is dropped off to them. The staff are really hard working and nice, it's management that needs to do some continuous quality improvement to identify the best processes for taking orders and delivering food. read more

First time here and wow what a great place !! We had 3 dishes and all 3 were great !! The beef kabob was very flavorful and their garlic sauce is fantastic !! Needless to say the Greek salad was amazing !! The other great experience was both owners came to our table and asked us how our meal was. That's pride in ownership !!! After eating our early dinner I highly recommend Cali Kebob !! You won't be disappointed!! Thank you again we have a new favorite place to go to now !! read more

All I can say is wow. Had the beef/chicken shawarma plate and I cleaned it up! I was super hungry prior and was nice and full after it. The place looks on point with the branding and the name, I hope they take off. Being middle eastern I always appreciate a shop that can mimic how we have it at home. I love mixing in the garlic sauce with the chili paste, my 2 go to sauces. Was very happy with the service and quality, the staff members are extremely friendly. Will be back for sure. I ordered a Beef Shawarma plate earlier today for lunch. I paid $16, content wise it barely has any meat at all. It felt like a carne asado taco for $3 has more meat compared to this pricey meal. It has plenty, plenty of rice though. It sure will fill you up. I don't mind paying for a $16 fast food meal, however this place is shortchanging customers with the amount of meat they put in their meals. It is definitely not worth the price at all!!! read more

Absolutely wonderful!! I am not from the area but was having to throw a reception for 60 people. Ashley and her husband from Cali Kabab went above and beyond to help me with my event. Thier kindness and willingness to help our group made it that more memorable. The food was amazing!! Everything we had was so fresh and flavorful. The copious amount of food choices were perfect to please everyone's pallets. Can't thank them enough and highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. read more

I was really disappointed with this restaurant today. I placed my food order and sat down to wait. The restaurant was slow and I was the only customer. I waited and waited and waited for my food. I thought it was a long wait but thought maybe they cook to order restaurant. The cashier and cook continued to look over at me and see me waiting. After about 25 minutes, another customer comes in and places his order. Within a few minutes the cashier comes out with his food and gives to him. I immediately ask the young female cashier where is my food that I ordered 30 mins ago? She then turns around and walks down the end of the counter and picks up a bag with food and says, is this your food? I said why didnt you announce the food was ready?? The cashier and cook both see me waiting for an extended period and never say anything!!!!! What do they think I am waiting for???? I will NEVER return to this unprofessional poor service restaurant. Also when I finally received my food, I found the portion size is too small and the bread and hummus was not good. They need to get it together read more

Our 1st visit to Cali Kabob next to Pechanga Resort & Casino and we were not disappointed. My wife and I shared the Shawarma mixed plate and was reasonably priced. Randy and I tried Cali Kabob for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Randy had the Chicken Kabob plate that included the kabob, rice, salad, fries and pita bread. He devoured every bite. I had the Western burger with fries and loved it. The burger was perfectly dressed with BBQ sauce, chopped tomato, an onion ring, pickles and fresh crunchy lettuce. Delicious! The owners, a super nice couple, checked on us to make sure we were happy and we assured them that we really enjoyed our food. We finished the meal by sharing an Oreo shake which was terrific. Came in here on a Wednesday night. There was only one other group in there. I love good, fresh food. Cashier was very kind and explained everything. She even made suggestions. Sooooo good! My husband loves kabobs, so we decided to try Cali Kabob for Father's Day. They did not disappoint! The meat was so tender and juicy! Even the second, and third day for leftovers. Usually I don't care for steak but holy cow, their steak kabobs were like butter! Our order was to-go but the restaurant seemed nice and clean, and the staff were super friendly. The beef shawarma plate that we got first came out with crispy crunchy beef that you could crunch into crumbles in your fingers. I sent it back and the second was cooked better but the flavor was extremely off-putting. There was an excessive amount of sumac on top of the meat, much more than is needed. Also , the taste of wine (I'm assuming it was in the marinade) was very strong. I thought that the baba ganoush I received as a side was very tasty and smoky. It did have a large amount of olive oil floating on the top which was a tad overkill but, still, it was tasty. The presentation of food was impressive. I must say that the service was very good. There was one server that was serving everyone in the entire restaurant and she was really on the ball. There was only one person cooking in the back so food was coming out a little at a time at our table of eight people. Some of us were almost done eating before the last person even got their meal. There were people at our table that got served first. Then we would see food going out to other tables before the rest of the people got served at our table. To me this was a little disorganized and it would really benefit this restaurant if they were a bit more organized and had an extra employee or two for lunch time. I guess the main issue we had was that the food was not good and it wasn't served to all the people at the table in a timely manner. All the food did come out hot thanks to our stellar server. Regarding returning to this restaurant, I do not think I will be returning. We have other Mediterranean restaurants in the area that have better food. A+ for the service and probably C- for the food.

I recently visited Cali Kabob Temecula, a new restaurant in the area, and was initially drawn in by its reasonable prices. Although, the customer service was great. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of my expectations. While the portion sizes were small, I'm accustomed to sharing dishes, but I was surprised to find that this restaurant doesn't typically offer two meats per plate like most kabob spots do. The kafta I ordered was unfortunately lacking in flavor, which was a letdown. The rice was decent, and the salad was a highlight of the meal. I would suggest also including garlic spread, not just tahini as this would not only add more flavor to the dish but also provide a creamy contrast to the grilled meats. While Cali Kabob Temecula has potential, it needs to work on improving its portion sizes and flavor profiles to live up to its competitors in the area. The mashed potatoes were good and buttery. The mac & cheese was good and had a nice flavor. The Brussel sprouts were undercooked, hard, and bland. The bread had soaked up the blood from the tri-tip and was soggy gross. The kids quesadilla was literally 2 store bought tortillas and some sprinkled cheddar cheese that wasn't even melted in between. I didn't care for it, but I'm glad my son ate it. Overall, I had high expectations for this place and it was lacking.
