Great food and friendly service, Our waitress was awesome. Jaqueline took care of our family lunch today and we had a delightful time. We typically go on weekends for breakfast, but today our lunch was delicious. The meat was juicy and tender, not to mention the flavor was unique. For a previous breakfast we asked for huevos rotos and pastries. The ambience is family oriented and regular level of noise. Beautiful decoration and plenty of light. The service was great but the food was so so...and although I am all for helping the homeless there was a homeless man using the restroom while we were eating there and the bathroom was not even cleaned after his usage. The ambiance was nice. The gourmet shop was nice. They had high quality grocery items for sale. We bought a great olive oil for a good price. The parking wasn't too complicated. I'm not in a hurry to go back. I might give it a try when they have more items on the menu. The best thing I liked was their tostada. It was served with guava marmalade. My son liked the salmon avocado toast. He thought it was very tasty. We sampled a few other things from their menu and these are the 2 best things we liked. read more

So I went for the Miami Spice lunch and had the patatas bravas (they didn't have yuca), the risotto with mushrooms and cheese and finished it up with the smoked cheesecake. The smoked cheesecake is a rather unique dessert with of course a smoky flavour and a consistency between thick pudding and an average cheesecake. Very efficient servers and friendly throughout. Came and filled up the water various times. They are also a bakery and you can see the selections half way through the restaurant. Clean throughout with a very nice layout and design inside. Parking here limited to street only with additional parking on the southern block behind the building. Please note that you may get towed if you park in the CVS. My family and I went to having a brunch in your restaurant on Wednesday May 8, 2024. The ambience is beautifully decorated. The restaurant is very clean. The server got our orders on time. The food is delicious from the appetizers which was croquetas (tuna,cod); the main course bread with serrano jam on top, scrambled eggs with cherry tomatoes and fried potatoes or the version with salad; the beverages with matcha tea, coffee and the dessert Crema Catalana was oustanding. I did not love this place. Food was only ok. I wasn't impressed at all. The service, was not great. The server did not even attempt to speak English and my husband doesn't speak Spanish. That already was bothering me, but it was when he never came back to offer us coffee or dessert that I was really disappointed. I stood up and ordered my dessert at counter and took it to go, and just made coffee at home. I was disappointed. Probably won't return. read more

I ordered huevos estrellados and they were overcooked, not even to mention that some of the potato slices had black spots and were undercooked. Felt nostalgic that it is located where the old "Allan's Drugstore" used to be at the corner of Bird Road and found parking in the back without problems. The restaurant is very pleasantly inviting in its decor and welcoming! We had great service and the food choices were interesting. My family's background is from Spain so I was attracted to some of their dishes. Food was delicious but way over priced! It's one of these new "catchy" restaurants which I hope it does well in Miami. The avocado tartar was very good, I must admit, not so much was one of the chef's specialty: the black rice. I ordered it because they had run out of the fideuda. The dish was unerwhelming to say the least. It tasted like it had been made in haste, overly greasy, bland and off-putting. To charge that much for such swill is insulting; it adds insult to injury. They are not Cuban style, they are Spanish style. You can't get these type of flavors anywhere around Miami. It was my first time to try this style. We split the Cuban sandwich and the brioche. So glad we made those choices! The atmosphere was fantastic. I felt like everyone there was enjoying their food and really spending time with their loved ones.
