My friend and I went here for the first time on our lunch break. The food was phenomenal and the service was quick and efficient. Our server, Mauricio was awesome. We told him we were on a time crunch and he was very observant and quick to help us out. We very much enjoyed it. Not only that, but the Mimosas and tacos were so so good!!!! Found this spot on accident actually. We were in the parking lot trying to get something to eat and ran into Calafia. I had the Mexi-Cali Burger with onion rings. The onion rings were HUGE!!! I've never had onion rings this large before. The burger was good but the chorizo patty over powered the flavor of the other items in the burger. Yet, still good taste. I think the one thing it was missing was some sort of spread on the bun. I think that would've brought the burger together. Prices were high but with the area, supply issues, and inflation I can see why that is so. read more

Absolutely loved this new brunch spot in Livermore! Service stands out along with the ambiance. The outdoor seating is plenty and nicely done. Indoors have a great vibe too ( although I chose to sit outside this time). I especially loved their drip coffee . Something with a hint of cinnamon.. Sweetened just enough to not take away coffee flavor. Food was good too.. I tried the heuvos ala mexicana and breakfast burrito.. pretty good but I'll try something different next time. We ordered Mac and cheese for the kids and unfortunately that was served way too hot. I'd suggest they work on bringing kids food down to the right temperature before serving. We went for a late lunch on Sunday and were happily surprised at the fresh, high quality ingredients. I had the burger which I think is the first time I had to knife and fork a burger! The meat was very high quality and you could taste the actual grill which is something I love. The garlic fries had just the right amount of garlic (and these were recommended by our waitress). My wife had the BLT which was packed with bacon! Our photo doesn't do it justice but there was tons of bacon. The onion rings had a thick, enjoyable batter. The atmosphere is casual and they do have beer, wine and what looks to be a terrific brunch menu. We will be back a little earlier to try that soon! read more

I hate so say this but this is the worst restaurant I've had in a very long time. My husband and I came here with my brother and his wife for lunch on New Years based on the reviews. A couple things: they took a very long time to take our order. I didn't know it would be difficult to mess up onion rings or tacos but they managed to both. Nobody at the table even enjoyed their food. The meat didn't taste fresh, the seafood didn't taste fresh either. The onion rings were really just not fried long enough. The onion inside was still very crunchy, it's supposed to soften as you fry, ths was for the table and not one person liked them. I'm not sure if they were just off their game or if the meat was sitting out too long but I definitely won't be back.
