The best way to describe it was a like it came from a chain supermarket - lacking flavor and not up to fresh quality. The only one that was edible was the chocolate slice. I heard it was about 45$ for a dozen cupcakes. That seems crazy expensive to me but I don't have much cupcake buying experience to make a good comparison. I only buy vegan food, I don't think they have any vegan options so if your vegan, make sure to check out their site before going. I wasn't gonna turn down free cupcakes and needed a sugar high. Choosing a cupcake was a hard decision, they all looked so good! I went with carrot cake, it was delicious and I was happy with my choice. I don't know why but my co-workers didn't seem to be as excited as I was so I got to have a red velvet cupcake to help me power through the afternoon and it was just as good! The next day, the box of cupcakes was still sitting around so I had another 2! Peanut butter chocolate & chocolate/chocolate. They were all delicious. We chose the following 4 flavors: Chocolate Sundae- Good but you can definitely taste the butter and sugar in the icing. Dunkaroos- Not bad but not reminiscent of that classic Dunkaroos flavor. Carrot cake- Overall the winner with nice thick cream cheese icing. Strawberries and cream- Just okay. Moist cake but no one in the crowd liked the icing. In summary, the cakes weren't bad and were generally moist but the icing wasn't anything special (with the exception of that of the carrot cake)

I left it out in the shade, it was an outside party. When I looked at the cake, my daughter's name looked like it was slapped on by a child and the top fondant swirl on top was uneven. No big deal... When I finally cut into the cake, it was very hard and seemed very dry right away. Not a typical moist cake. I honestly had no desire to even taste it and felt bad distributing it out. I had asked a few people how they liked it and they even said it was dry but the icing and everything else was good. I think they tried to be nice. I messaged SJ telling her I was not happy with it and even my guests felt the same. She was speechless and her feelings were hurt that I didn't like the cake. When she asked what she can do, I told her I wanted 50% off. Since most of it went in the garbage too. She eventually became very defensive and blamed me and saying something about the butter and how it didn't melt in the shade or how I should've left it out longer..? Which I never heard of and also saying she uses fresh ingredients and all her cakes are fresh and she puts in a lot of time into each of her cakes. Both were perfect sweet treats and didn't taste odd being vegan. The roll was huge. I probably shouldn't have gotten both because it was decadent, but they both rocked.
