I normally never write reviews but I don't appreciate bad customer service especially when I'm a regular and bring big groups. We did all we can eat for my daughters birthday. There was four kids. I don't really understand how management can expect people to know something without being told something. I made a reservation with 12 people. When you walk in you're seated we are going over what everyone's going to eat and we order. Then after 10 minutes after ordering the manager comes over stating they need to check the kids heights so they can be charged a certain price. This should be done before ordering in my opinion because 30 dollars compared to 65 is a big difference. I spoke to her about it after getting my check of the kids who are barely over 5 feet and she said she considered two kids already and she can't do my kids and that I should know when i go to all you can eat that I should measure my kids before being seated. Happy to finally have a boil spot in Patchogue! Delicious and fresh seafood. The crab leg seafood boil is amazing! My crab legs were cooked to perfection and I highly recommend mixing all sauces and adding some spice if that's what you're into. Good service and good happy hour as well. I would recommend ordering seafood as that's their speciality and staying away from stuff like the Mac & cheese as it's not as impressive. Overall a great vibe and always leave satisfied after enjoying a seafood boil from this place! My boyfriend and I went out for, what we thought, would be a fun lunch at Cajun Claws. We were seated quickly, as it was the middle of the day, and our drinks took a little long but they were just opening up so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered oysters as an appetizer, came out punctual and good, no problems there. However, when it came to the actual boils, this is where they ROYALLY messed up. My boyfriend's food came out first, which was no problem, as I assumed mine would come in quick succession. I waited 10 minutes...15 minutes... 25 minutes???? Almost 35 MINUTES later my food came out... and they only came up to me ONCE to say that the food would be out shortly and they were sorry. At this point my boyfriends' food was ICE COLD!! They didn't even offer to bring out a new plate, heat it up, literally anything, and I couldn't even have think of asking them to take it them to take it back because we would've been there forever apparently based on their previous service. Mind you, as I stated previously, we were there for LUNCH, there were maybe five other customers in the entire restaurant, who received their food BEFORE me and were seated AFTER. The most they did was profusely apologize, and comp me for my drink, and with that the bill somehow came out to $100 dollars for two meals and an appetizer? SO NOT WORTH IT!! I never make reviews but this was appalling. I ordered the Maryland Crab boil two nights ago through Uber eats and I received 3 of the smallest crabs I have ever seen. They aren't even of legal size. I highly doubt these are even Maryland crabs they were probably caught by a staff member off a dock in Patchogue. $25 dollars for 3 crabs I couldn't even eat. Never ordering from here again. Took my fiancée here as a Wednesday happy hour date night and we were more than impressed! It was a new upscale spot that had a great atmosphere. Prices were great and the service was even better! Atmosphere is definitely reminiscent of a Joe's Crab Shack... but upscale. The booth they sat us in had the vibe of a red leather steakhouse booth. The service was awesome although they failed to mention the offer for first time guests (buy a bill get your bill free basically.) I normally try the soft shell crab anywhere I can get it and Cajun claws was no exception. In all honestly might have been the beat soft shell crab I've ever had. It was served on a burger bun with aa spicy remounted and fried on the side (opt for the Cajun fries - you can't go wrong!) But when I opened my boil bags the sauce was so runny, which was a immediate turnoff for me but I still decided to try the food. I came on a Saturday around 3:30PM with my wife which was just in time for happy hour. I was greeted by a lovely bartender named Katie. She was sharing some wonderful stories and felt like a really good person. I immediately felt welcomed at this establishment. The drink specials during our happy hour were unbeatable. I never expected a place to have a happy hour on Saturday from 3:30-7. They really allow you to enjoy yourself with no pressure, just drink and eat and enjoy yourself. I felt very at home with this restaurant and I can't thank the two wonderful people I interacted with during my time there enough, Kyle and Katie.
