I walked around Sandymount strand with my in-laws and got hungry so we were looking for a place in the area. This coffee shop is fairly small, practical and has a few chairs and tables outside, so a great spot for a sunny day. As it was a bit windy, we went inside. The space is small but not cramped at all and it is indeed a bit noisy with no music in the background. I really liked the menu as it's quite extensive and cheap - even more if you consider not only Dublin prices but D4 prices. The service was quick and friendly enough, and I noticed that most of the employees are foreign students. For the price I wasn't expecting very big portions. I saw a few cakes that looked delish on the counter but I was craving pancakes and was delighted to find this option available in their menu. You can get yourself several options ranging from fruits, scones, toasts, omelettes, porridge, muffins, full Irish and even a Mexican breakfast in a tortilla (again, great variety for a small cafe AND this breakfast is served ALL day). I was only a bit disappointed when I realized that they should've been more honest in the description of what was served, as they don't have real pancakes but thin crepe layers. The fruit salad was beautiful but they only have Greek yogurt, which is too acidic for my taste. The croissant looked a bit burned and was clearly reheated many times, so not fresh and the regular cups of americano were small and everyone asked to have a bit more added to their mugs. Overall the place has potential and the prices are very competitive (each plate goes from 4 to 7€). I would go back to try their waffles, but they could use a boost in the points mentioned.

I stumbled upon this place one Saturday morning while waiting for my car in the nearby Fast Fit…read moreplace. As it was early in the morning I went for the eggs florentine and wasn't disappointed. It was delicious! The coffee was good too. When leaving I ordered a chai latte to go and I have to admit it was the worst chai latte I've ever had so I wouldn't recommend that one ;) The rest is great. The place was hopping when I was leaving which I usually look at as a great thing! Definitely worth a go again I'd say!

We piled in, all 16 of us for an office lunch last week, the place was busy with a good atmosphere and despite the fact that nearly all the tables were full, our meals came out quickly and correct for all. It's nice when that happens, you aren't worrying about clock-watching and only having so much time before you have to be back in the office. I had the burger as the pulled pork had sold out (gutting); the burger, as with all the mains dishes, was HUGE. I'm a big guy, I like food, I will always clear my plate (because otherwise mommy would be mad... who me? issues?....not at all). I struggled here, I only just finished the mountainous meal served with the slightly too greasy fries... but finish I did.... because I'm a good little boy. Overall it was tasty, not so much so that I'll rant and rave and promise to be back next week... but good enough and I certainly won't object to going back! Oh, I got to try a couple of the wings as well - they were VERY good!

Start with some caffeine or stronger bubbles, then dive right into those blueberry lemon buttermilk pancakes. Or perhaps enjoy a full Irish breakfast (with free tea). Those lighter eaters will probably find the berry granola bowl tasty o avocado eggs, but meanwhile I'll be eating the biggest things they have. And it's not just about breakfast (others say, not me). Tackle the firecracker chicken burger or prawn pappardelle midday. Vegan choices like sweet potato fritters will thrill as well. And of course fries for a side or broccoli when you can't take any more excess. Meanwhile I'm sure many of you are bypassing the food because drinks abound here: beer, wine, cocktails, margaritas, etc. I'd be surprised if you can't find your favorite, and if it didn't exceed your wildest dreams. Great location in Ballsbridge, walkable from many spots, and I'll return next time I'm in town.

The brunch was amazing, the Caesar salad was so big that 2 people could eat from it and it was just amazing. The restaurant looks awesome compared to many other restaurants in Dublin. The staff was very friendly and nice. The coffee is really good. I would come back without second thoughts, and I will. Prices are ok, pretty affordable.
