Table decor

If you're looking for adorable outdoor seating with bomb pasta dishes (which I don't have a photo of because we were drooling and slurping) and an intimate vibe - make a rez here. The half portions sold me and these fresh yellow roses with the decor, stop it.

Pleasant little spot in hingham, had indoor and outdoor seating - needed 2 high chairs and sat wherever was easier for them to sit us around 6pm. Dinner was served with bread and either a tomato or marinara sauce which was delightful. The pear martini was well balanced not too sweet still had a little kick to it. Beet salad was tasty had goat cheese, nuts, arugula, the these pickled Vidalia or pearl onions that stood out compared to others. For entrees; we got the scallops and the cod which were placed on a bed of veggies, not too filling after the app and bread. Definitely felt like a healthier meal not loaded with carbs. Boys started getting restless so we couldn't stay for dessert but would definitely go back. Service was good, everyone was friendly and accommodating - we didn't have to wait long for anything that we needed.

I forgot to take pics of the food but it was really excellent. The portions were huge which made the prices quite reasonable. We shared the Caesar salad which they split for us. I had the rigatoni bolognese which was amazing. My dad had the eggplant rolotini and then the mushroom risotto side which was so big for only $9! No dessert for us because we already had leftovers. Thank you! We loved it.

Lobster tagliatelle

I ordered the lobster tagliatelle, it was suppose to be with a white wine garlic sauce. It tasted like pasta water, it was extremely runny without a hint of garlic. It had zero flavor at all. Super disappointing and will not be back.

There's something about this place that I really like. A few things, actually, but it's got this comfortable vibe that makes it a solid pick anytime the option is floated. Stealing from its big brother's killer starters, Caffe Tosca offers a stellar calamari plate, so get it. Because Damien S said so. A half order of Ricotta Cavatelli (turkey sausage, tomatoes, arugula, red onion, garlic, chilies, smoked paprika, parm regg, $15) is a delightfully filling portion of housemade pasta that'll fill the oh-so-slight void left by the required calamari. Decent beer list (had a Barrel House Z Sunny & 79) and the servers are insanely personable. Comp bread basket by Fireking Bakery is served with red sauce - request butter and top with both to juice your mindgrapes. Dining room is basically entirely walled in with glass, so you're quasi al fresco throughout the year. I love Tosca, so it's no surprise I'm a fan of it's side hustle. Bravo!

It was Wednesday, beautiful evening and I was hoping to sit outside. My friend who was showing me the place said there would be outside seating, but it wasn't set up. For a Wednesday night, it was packed inside and very noisy. My scallops were delicious. My friend had the salmon on a bed of asparagus and that looked very great too. It's probably jamming even more on the weekends. Close to the water in the quaint Hingham downtown.

First review in a long time but this visit to the Boathouse Bistro really inspired me…read more We've been here a few times in the past for hosted birthday parties and only had the pizza, which is an amazing thin crust neapolitan type! We choose the Boathouse Bistro after a long walk yesterday at World's End. A gorgeous hike. First, the Bistro is covid/safety compliant. Sucks to have start a review like that but, hey. They have outdoor seating, weather permitting. We sat inside. Too windy. The vibe is casual but nice and bright with lots of windows. Tables are limited right now. Our server, Teresa, was very friendly as was her Mom, Tinka. She owns it with her husband Steve McCauley. Great people. Four of us dined. I had the short ribs with mashed. My wife had the mussels in white wine and a bowl of chicken soup. My friend had the spicy sausage and his wife had the Mussels in white wine with a side of linguine. We all started with the Calamari. Bevs were red wines, sangria and Jameson (that's me :) Everything was perfect and could not have been better or fresher. The calamari were lightly fried and extremely tender. If calamari are chewy, they are not fresh (and might not even be calamari. Look up fake calamari! Better yet, don't). The calamari were cooked with banana pepper and served with a smokey cream sauce. I wanted a bowl of it and a spoon! I do lots of braising (my Osso Bucco is to die for), and these short ribs were perfectly, fall apart tender. The mashed were creamy, buttery and delicious in a light gravy. The mussels were also fresh and tender and the chicken soup resembled a hearty tortilla soup without the tortilla chips. Delicious. Food and 2 rounds of drinks was about $200 with a generous tip. I was told they also have take dinner packages. I wish I lived closer. Try the Boathouse Bistro! You'll be happy you did.

Great place! I had a burger and my husband had the short rib grilled cheese - both yummy. Fantastic…read moreservice. Pretty pricey, but literally right on the beach, so you kind of have to expect that.

CITY OF QUINCY's 9th Annual Food Trucks & Music Festival did not disappoint the hundreds and…read morehundreds of city residents and surrounding area residents for this amazing Sunny day in October! Since WAHLBURGERS HAD THE BEST LOCATION POSSIBLE! It must have been the busiest Food Truck at this Festival since it was next to the Entertainment Tent where great things happened I saw lines of hungry people! My usual stop was here at WAHLBERGERS AND LO AND BEHOLD, what did I notice..... Paul Wahlberger was missing at the grill, this time because of a previous engagement BUT, not to worry.....great food and service were still being served for the hundreds by my photo I took of his replacement.... My apologies I forgot his name! I usually never do that! Yet, this now Iconic Green WALHBURGERS FOOD TRUCK IS NOTICEABLE FROM GREAT DISTANCES! As soon as was walking toward the Event on Coddington Street I saw the Truck and a smile came across my face that a would be hot burger with my name on it is waiting! Thank you WALHBURGERS for participating in this extraordinary celebration by The City of Quincy and Mayor Thomas Koch and his staff! Go grab a Burger and Enjoy!

Great First Experience!…read more This was my first time visiting Wahlburgers, and I really enjoyed it! My husband had been before, but this was my introduction, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and decorated with photos and memorabilia from Mark and Donnie Wahlberg's movies, which added a fun touch to the atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and everything was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered Our Burger Smash, while I went with the O.F.D. Burger. My burger was juicy and flavorful with perfectly cooked beef, melted cheese, crispy bacon, and a soft brioche bun that held everything together beautifully. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burger as well. We also shared the Loaded Tots with the spicy sauce, and they were outstanding! Crispy tots smothered in a creamy, spicy sauce, topped with bacon, green onions, and a drizzle of ranch--they were absolutely delicious and perfect for sharing. To drink, we tried the Wahlbrewski, and it was light, crisp, and refreshing, pairing perfectly with our burgers. Overall, I had a fantastic first experience. Great food, excellent service, a fun atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I can definitely see why this place is so popular, and I'll happily be back the next time I'm in town!

I've got to say, this 99 Restaurant in Hingham is top notched comparing to other 5 star restaurants…read moreand standing out from other 99 Restaurant we've visited. Very clean, comfortable, well lit and plenty of parking. Excellent service from the start. Greeted at the door and seated in a booth each time we visited. Wife and I visited 2 weeks ago after one shopping at the Shipyard. Looking forward to the pre-meal popcorn. Our waitress, Aimee, was superb. Attentive, friendly, polite, professional and courteous. 5 stars service. Ordered the Prime rib rare. Tasty and cooked to perfection with plenty of Au jus. Wife had the chicken salad. Fresh and tender chicken. Again visited last Wednesday with grandkid who wanted the favorite Mac and cheese as well as take advantage of "kids eat free day after a Red Sox win." Again service was 5 star excellence by our waitress, Erin T, who was attentive, friendly, polite, professional and courteous. Again food was prepared to perfection this time ordering the ground sirloin special rare and rare it was unlike most places servicing medium. Plenty of mushroom gravy. So good! Absolutely delicious. What's even better, 5 stars with budget friendly affordable prices. Highly recommend. Will definitely return to this 99 Restaurant very soon for sure.

Visited the Hingham 99 about 2:30pm on Aug 10, a Monday afternoon. Our party of 4 was seated at a…read morebooth right next to another party. It appeared we were the only 2 parties in that side of the restaurant, and there appeared to be one waitress working it. She was taking the other party's app and drink order. It seemed complicated, with lots of questions and clarifications back and forth. At one point the waitress looked at us and said "I'll be with you in just a moment." We said "no problem." She finished with that party and told us "I'll be right with you after I put in this food order." We say "ok." But she was gone a long time. She finally came back, with a couple drinks for the other party, talked to them a bit, then left again, telling us, again, she'd be right with us. Came back with 2 more drinks for the other party. And left again. At this point we have nothing but menus. No water, no popcorn, nothing. We're near the host stand, and I can see him, just standing there picking his fingernails. I'm thinking maybe he should pitch in if this one waitress is overwhelmed with this one other party. I keep nudging my wife, saying "let's leave and go somewhere else." She says no, so we wait. Finally, here comes the waitress... But she doesn't come to us! She goes to the OTHER party and asks "you ready to put the rest of your food in?" They don't even have their apps yet, and we have NOTHING after about fifteen minutes! We're listening to them order, and it sounds complicated again, things like "no pickles on it, but a side of pickles, please." We're rolling our eyes, can't believe she's STILL ignoring us after telling us multiple times she'll be right with us. But we figure she'll take our order right after she takes theirs, and we're ready. We know what we want and have no questions. NOPE. She walks away, saying nothing to us, after taking their second order. We got up and left. Nothing on the table but menus. Not even water. I told the host we were leaving because we couldn't get anyone to wait on us. If "I don't give a bleep" had a face, it would have been this guy's face. We went across the street to the Shipyard where we ordered food and alcohol for four, and wondered if the 99 waitress got a good enough tip from her one party to make up for the one she lost.
