I'm only giving this place four stars because I ordered one thing and got something completely different and they refunded me. I don't know what kind of creative mess they're making with their sandwiches but keep it simple. All I asked for was a chicken Parm sub and this is what I got, see below. I always waver when deciding in a pinch to order from this place because it's usually I'm driving through that way or I don't know coming from the beach. It's never great and I feel terrible about it. Maybe I'm just too picky. I am a lot. Some seem to like it, but People who run this place seem very very nice so I can't say too many bad things but let me show you what they gave me. It tasted like barbecue chicken and it had not bit of sauce there definitely wasn't cheese. Maybe I got the wrong sub. But they were very gracious. Someone tell me what this is. Cheers! Sandwich on! Ordered the small scallop and they charged me $24.00 which is the plate. We were not able to eat them. They were all burned and chewy, We threw them out. read more

Cosmos has always been a family favorite but the food quality and consistency has taken a big hit in the past year. Lately the pizza has been hit or miss, and in the past couple weeks especially the pizza dough has been tough and thin, with too much sauce and just all around mediocre. For food, we usually used to get pizza and scallops. But, the list 2 times we ordered scallops they sure didn't look or taste like scallops. I am thinking most likely it was a kind of fish. But, they always forget the fries and coleslaw. We don't go there anymore. They are burned and were chewy. Threw them out. It doesn't help if you ask them anything, they don't listen. read more

I really like this place! Small town sub shop that makes everything right. I got the steak combo, great shaved steak nice seasoning and cooked to perfection. Been going to Cosmos since they opened in Scituate. The chicken and steak Kabob dinners are my favorite!!

Friendly, clean- however my 2 pepperoni slices were really pretty bad- like someone else said. Great for kids, not for people that like pizza. I will try again with a sandwich next time read more

If you've ever had a good pizza or good food in general you won't like this place. It's good if you're a kid. But for an adult it's not. Adults who have eaten good food should not eat here. This place is pretty amazing. Their pizza is delicous and that is just the tip of the iceburg. They have an incredible array of subs, calzones, baked ziti dinners, fish, salads, wraps, gyros, and appetizers...and oh so much more! Food is cooked to order and always hits the spot. It is definitely one of the best take-out places in the area. You can't beat the quality and the prices are very reasonable. The baked ziti dinner is so out-of-this-world! Love cosmos! I've been going here since it opened and it's consistently great. Clean establishment, friendly staff, reasonable prices. For a lighter meal, the Greek salad is the delish. If you enjoy average food served by cranky rude men for a high price this is your place. Do to the convenience of its location I have tried it a dozen times thinking this time it will be different. No such luck. Very rude and inpatient every time. Last straw was we called to order three subs and the cranky rudo said 'hold on' and picked up another ringing phone taking another order out of sequence. Rude, disorganized and expensive. We have only gotten take out from Cosmos and it has always been very good. Once we ordered buffalo chicken calzones and they were sensational. They were a little on the spicy side, but, heh, it's buffalo chicken after all. We have also gotten pizza and calzones with traditional Italian fillings. The portions are big and the prices low. There is nothing in Scituate that can match what Cosmos offers. read more

This place is terrible. The health department should definitely check in to its' cleanliness. Food is pretty bad. The staff seems more interested in talking to each other than waiting of customers. Drive a bit, and go to Victoria's for this type of run of the mill pizzeria food. If you want a great sub, go to Maria's, far better and the place is always spotless. read more

I had a freezer burned cheeseburger sub and a wax tasting hot dog (separate occasions). They tasted horrible needless to say. The hot dog was not cheap, with a handful of fries it set me back $6.00 (no drink included). My wife's salad had brown spots on the lettuce which she would not eat. I am not sure what everyone is raving about but if you can't cook the simple food in my opinion, I don't have much faith in the rest of the menu. I won't be going back. read more

I go here all the time. When it comes to Greek style sub shops they stand on a pedestal all alone. I usually choose the Haddock sandwich on bulky with a big slice of cheese pizza and that's always delicious. That never disappoints, but today I had a craving for a Steak & Cheese with onions and peppers. Oh my God, I might have new favorite. The service is friendly and fast. In addition to everything good I have to say about this outstanding sub shop they serve cold draft beer. I've been here almost 100 times and I plan to keep going at least 100 more times. This is a Greek pizza place and while their pie is ok they have great Greek salads as well as other Greek specialties . My wife loves their salads and frankly there is better pizza in the area . It has plenty of parking and us currently in construction for something I haven't figured out. read more

Only praises for this place. The Cosmos staff were incredibly welcoming and greeted us with a huge smile. The menu had plenty of options to choose from, and everyone was more than satisfied with what they received. I'm no food critic, but my taste buds tell me that the chicken was particularly high in quality, and the quantity was perfect!
