Great place to visit or study! The ambiance is clean and the glass windows make it feel like you're outdoors. I had the hazelnut latte which was just okay, it tasted like medicine if I'm honest. I like their iPad ordering system which makes it quick and efficient.

The coffee is alright, but they have a good selection. Friendly service and a nice ambiance to get some work done in.

I really like this place, tucked away on the ground floor of an apartment building, near the train…read moretracks by Lawrence & Reed. You won't accidentally stumble upon it unless you make an effort to seek it out. Despite this, it seems to be well known by locals and the seating area gets full at times. There is plenty of seating inside, and some outside. Outlets can be found it some tables. It's a good place to work with your laptop. It's mostly tables for 2. There's a larger communal table, and some counter seating. Parking can be difficult. There's a small area in the parking garage for "guest" parking. It's almost always full and you will depend on luck to find one spot there or arrive in time when someone is leaving their spot. There is no parking on most of the surrounding streets, except for the small section of the road that curves underneath Lawrence. And that part is often full of parked cars. It can be frustrating and this parking situation will easily drive away customers to find somewhere else with easier parking. If you're fortunate enough to get parking, you will find that Coffeebar offers a decent coffee menu, baked goods, and some food if you need more than a snack. The people working behind the counter have all been very friendly and helpful. Their Chocolate Croissant is HUGE!!! They'll ask if you want it warmed up. Definitely do this. It is delicious slightly warmed up. I have tried their Iced Chai Latte, which was just OK. It lacked the spice I was expected from a chai, and felt a bit too milky. I prefer their Iced Caramel Latte, which is much better than the Chai. Next time I will try their Mocha.

Only one tall seat; wish there were more tall seats which is healthier :(…read more Pros - nice and clean restroom, gives it an upscale vibe - They are nice enough to give you free refills when you have your own cup - Cal-train station is nearby WiFi SSID: "@Coffeebar Guest WiFi"

When we're in the area, this is our go to stop for pastries! Everything tastes as good as it looks!…read moreDuring this visit my son ordered a triple chocolate croissant and I got a ham & cheese croissant with a banana latte! These were perfect snacks for a park day, along with an hour bike ride! The service was great & although there was a line (thankfully not out the door this time), the wait wasn't too long and the workers work very efficiently & smoothly! There is tons of parking & again- the pastries are on point- not too buttery and they're flaky & moist! Will definitely be back!

Pastries and breads are often not uniform in size. Pastries that come out smaller or torn, damaged still get selected to be sold to customers instead of seen as a quality defect and pulled. In comparison to premium bakeries in SF, Palo Alto, or even Los Gatos, this was disappointing. I would think it would be better to pull the one or two pastries in that tray. Heck, even Paris Baguette would pull whole trays if it didn't fit their quality standard. (But I don't know if that's still true haha.) Given its premium pricing of $8-15 a pastry, I would expect all the qualities that would justify it. They are a step above bakeries who have frozen products, but do not hit the level of premium in quality of pastry. The prices they had in the beginning were fair, but with the recent increase along with those issues, I'm sad to rate it lower.

For the iced latte, shouldn't the milk go in after the espresso? Since it was the other way, the espresso was mainly on top and needed to be stirred. Seeing the workers, I know this part is thought out so just asking. Blackberry latte had a hint of blackberry which was nice. Not overwhelming. There is no waiting area after you order. You just kind of stand around somewhere in the store while you dodge people. Will definitely be back to try other items.

The are located in the same parking lot as the Country Inn right off of Saratoga Ave. When wifey and arrived there was plenty of parking. The inside of Moonwake is rather large for a coffee shop with plenty of seats and space, the outside has about 4-5 small "2 seat" tables. If you walk straight in "and keep walking" you will see their roasting room, that looks like a mad scientist lab with computers and beacons. It was pretty cool watching them proofing the coffee. I ordered a decaf iced Mocha with 1/2 & 1/2 and a Berry pistachio croissant, wifey ordered a regular coffee with room. Wifey's coffee had a delicate earthy flavor. "For regular coffee it was quite good" 4 stars My Mocha even with the 1/2 & 1/2 was good but did not have the body I like. 2.5 stars. "For said items $21.45" The Croissant was absolutely amazing, decadent, buttery, crispy, and chewy. Honestly it's the best one I've had short of Arsicault Bakery in San Francisco. Yeah man these are nearly that good! 5 stars for sure! The service was good and the employees were nice and helpful. Overall rating in my opinion, this place is solidly in the 4 star area. And I will be coming back for their croissants. :-D

I was right, able to get indoor table with my friend easier. I'm used to the friendly vibe at Santa Clara, but this place has overall good service! Parking is bigger here overall. Ordered my usual Tokyo Matcha, I didn't adjust the sweetness. I believe I get more floral flavor from the Santa Clara location. Decided to get their matcha powder to try at home. The vibe inside is sleek, minimalistic, and surprisingly calm all at once. The baristas were very polite and also quick. I went specifically to try their Nola iced coffee after hearing a lot about it, and it was worth every bit of hype. One can tell right away that they know their coffee and roast their own beans in-house. It gives the whole experience a refined, gourmet feel. The Nola style vanilla iced coffee was fantastic. The medium roast beans had rich, chocolate-forward notes, and the vanilla was subtle rather than overly sweet, balancing the coffee. Voyager Craft Coffee is easily one of the best coffees I have had in California
