I was right, able to get indoor table with my friend easier. I'm used to the friendly vibe at Santa Clara, but this place has overall good service! Parking is bigger here overall. Ordered my usual Tokyo Matcha, I didn't adjust the sweetness. I believe I get more floral flavor from the Santa Clara location. Decided to get their matcha powder to try at home. I'm invested to visit the other locations!

The vibe inside is sleek, minimalistic, and surprisingly calm all at once. The baristas were very polite and also quick. I went specifically to try their Nola iced coffee after hearing a lot about it, and it was worth every bit of hype. One can tell right away that they know their coffee and roast their own beans in-house. It gives the whole experience a refined, gourmet feel. The Nola style vanilla iced coffee was fantastic. The medium roast beans had rich, chocolate-forward notes, and the vanilla was subtle rather than overly sweet, balancing the coffee. Voyager Craft Coffee is easily one of the best coffees I have had in California

For food, I tried the Gochujang Corn Cheese Scallion Focaccia and Egg Sando. Egg Sando: Very tasty, fluffy, and seasoned just right. Gochujang Corn Cheese Scallion Focaccia: Huge slice that was nice and savory. Definitely get it heated up if you're eating it there. Even though it's always busy, they get the drinks out pretty fast! The are located in the same parking lot as the Country Inn right off of Saratoga Ave. When wifey and arrived there was plenty of parking. The inside of Moonwake is rather large for a coffee shop with plenty of seats and space, the outside has about 4-5 small "2 seat" tables. If you walk straight in "and keep walking" you will see their roasting room, that looks like a mad scientist lab with computers and beacons. It was pretty cool watching them proofing the coffee. I ordered a decaf iced Mocha with 1/2 & 1/2 and a Berry pistachio croissant, wifey ordered a regular coffee with room. Wifey's coffee had a delicate earthy flavor. "For regular coffee it was quite good" 4 stars My Mocha even with the 1/2 & 1/2 was good but did not have the body I like. 2.5 stars. "For said items $21.45" The Croissant was absolutely amazing, decadent, buttery, crispy, and chewy. Honestly it's the best one I've had short of Arsicault Bakery in San Francisco. Yeah man these are nearly that good! 5 stars for sure! The service was good and the employees were nice and helpful. Overall rating in my opinion, this place is solidly in the 4 star area. And I will be coming back for their croissants. :-D

We ordered the Morning Thai Cioppino and the Pimped Up Ramyun, and both were excellent. The Morning Thai Cioppino had a bold, authentic tom yum flavor with just the right balance of spice and tanginess. The Pimped Up Ramyun was a pleasant surprise. It definitely gave me instant ramen vibes, but in the best way possible. It was comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with much better ingredients than your average cup of ramen. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Came on a Wednesday around lunch. It was veryyy busy so expect slow service, not that it's their fault. Omurice - WOWWW this was so flavorful and had the egg cooked to perfection. I loved the short rib it was sooo tender and juicy. Blueberry cream cheese french toast - this was not as sweet as I expected it to be, but delicious alas. Love how you could sweeten to your liking, and the contrast to the almost salty cream cheese inside was a nice touch. Definitely recommend!

You won't accidentally stumble upon it unless you make an effort to seek it out. Despite this, it seems to be well known by locals and the seating area gets full at times. There is plenty of seating inside, and some outside. Outlets can be found it some tables. It's a good place to work with your laptop. It's mostly tables for 2. There's a larger communal table, and some counter seating. Parking can be difficult. There's a small area in the parking garage for "guest" parking. It's almost always full and you will depend on luck to find one spot there or arrive in time when someone is leaving their spot. There is no parking on most of the surrounding streets, except for the small section of the road that curves underneath Lawrence. And that part is often full of parked cars. It can be frustrating and this parking situation will easily drive away customers to find somewhere else with easier parking. If you're fortunate enough to get parking, you will find that Coffeebar offers a decent coffee menu, baked goods, and some food if you need more than a snack. The people working behind the counter have all been very friendly and helpful. Their Chocolate Croissant is HUGE!!! They'll ask if you want it warmed up. Definitely do this. It is delicious slightly warmed up. I have tried their Iced Chai Latte, which was just OK. It lacked the spice I was expected from a chai, and felt a bit too milky. I prefer their Iced Caramel Latte, which is much better than the Chai. Next time I will try their Mocha.
