The closest place that I have had Indonesian coffee is Kopiku in SF (but that is so far!) I ended up ordering a Klepon which is an espresso based latte with coconut milk, Pandan syrup made with palm sugar, coconut flakes! This had such distinctive flavoring that played homage to south East Asian flavors and was so comforting, especially when it was served hot. I love how balanced the pandan and palm sugar was. It wasn't too sweet at all! I am eager to try more flavors here. Service was fast and quick and only took max 10 minutes to get my drink even with a line. Not a huge deal, but I wish the pandan had more of a presence. All of the staff are super friendly, and I do think that the lattes are high-quality, but I would not get the matcha again. I found it a bit strange that they didn't put the cup lid on for you, especially since there was a long line in a small area and it was difficult to get the lid on while feeling rushed. I like coffee and going to coffee shops so I would recommend trying this place out if you haven't been.
