After a wonderful brunch nearby, we sought out coffee, but didn't want a run-of-the-mill corporate coffeehouse chain. This shop was indeed something special and their drinks were fantastic! I had an ICED MOCHA which was perfect! Creamy, but not too rich texture, lightly sweetened with hints of chocolate balancing out the espresso. Loved this as-is and wouldn't change a thing. Also got a CAFFE LATTE WITH SOY which was a nice pick-me-up. Silky and rich with a thick head of foam of top. Take your drinks and enjoy them in the quaint OUTDOOR LOUNGE AREA behind the cafe. Location is in a strip mall along Pacific Coast Highway near Fanning Road. Plenty of parking in a private lot with a couple 15-minute slots. read more

A super cute coffee shop in Malibu. If you are able to, it has its own parking lot in the front. They have signs for social distancing. My husband got a fresh squeezed orange juice and I got a hot chocolate. Both drinks were amazing. Mine tasted like a melted chocolate bar steamed in warm milk. In the back they have a cute set up of outdoor tables. A nice spot to read the paper while basking in a good drink. read more

We've tried every competitors coffee beans - always used in our super Pasquini espresso maker at home and hands down the Montenero beans - specifically for espresso - cannot be matched. (Boy and the Bear a close second) but always back to Luxxe. The smell of the beans, the Crema in the pull, and dense chocolatey flavor keep us coming back. We were cruising up the coast to hike some of the trails and then grab some bunch. We got the craving for some coffee and this place came up nearby. It is a very nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. They had a few delicious sounding options. The staff was great in helping me make my selection. This is a review for the Iced Coffee only as it's all I've had. My wife and I decided to stop here while on our way to Zuma Beach. We each got an iced coffee. I got mine black, she got her iced coffee with some oat milk. They were both absolutely horrible tasting. We each took a sip and nearly spit it out immediately. We each took another taste just to make sure, but no. It was so extremely bitter we ended up just throwing them away when we got to the beach. For $4 per iced coffee I was expecting it to be mediocre at best. If I had tasted it in the store I would have asked for my money back immediately but we were already on the road when we took our first sip. 2 stars as I can only judge the iced coffee and nothing else. Stopped on my way thru Malibu. Nice atmosphere. Coffee was.....ok. Staff was pleasant. But if you're looking to be able to connect to WiFi, forget it. They don't offer it. This isn't a bad thing. You just need to know what you're not getting. Oh, I sat out back on the really nice patio and there was absolutely no cell reception either. So if you don't need WiFi or cell reception, this is the place to be. It will force you to sit and reflect. read more

Caffe Luxxe is such a fun spot! Not only is there plenty of seating inside, but there is an outdoor area behind the store for customers to enjoy their drinks. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and, even though they first made a hot latte, the guys behind the counter apologized and quickly made the correct order, no problem They were so nice and worked quickly to serve everyone in line. I also love the little items they have for sale around the store. Their stationary is so cute and I ended up buying a birthday card for a friend. Overall, the latte was great and the service was friendly. I only wish it had opened sooner! Also, as of 7/20/17 they still do not have WiFi, so it's not quite the study spot it could be to attract Pepperdine students. read more

Caffe Luxxe is a cute and inviting little cafe and a welcome addition to Malibu/PCH. My group ordered a couple Lattes, Apricot Zest Iced Tea, and the Shakerato (a cold espresso drink with drizzled dark chocolate). The Apricot Zest Tea tasted refreshing and herbal, however the Shakerato is a must try! I want to be clear, I am not a coffee fan, but that Shakerato was DELICIOUS! Prices were reasonable for Malibu (which are often very unreasonable) -- the iced tea cost just $3 and the coffee drinks around that price range. The cafe's ambiance felt open and airy, unpretentious yet sophisticated. The staff were all very friendly and well-trained even on their Grand Opening day. The cafe has a lot of seating inside, though I wish they would add a few tables and chairs to their outside patio. Sitting outside sipping tea or coffee on a sun-shiny Malibu day would be so lovely. Also, the cafe can be pretty loud if a lot of people are inside. The cafe has a parking lot in front with many spaces. They also sell cute greeting cards, notebooks, and gifts. Two words: Cafe Nico It's a tiny espresso drink that is the most delicious drink I have had in a while. The coffee is also delicious. Specifically because drinking it black was enjoyable and not disgusting. There is a lot of seating (inside and outside) with a few outlets (inside). I am not sure if there is wifi. I got absolutely no reception on my phone as soon as I walked in the door, which was amazing for me because I was so productive. The cushioned chairs are incredibly comfortable. It was like sitting on a cloud. The baristas are really sweet and helpful. There are a ton of tea and coffee/espresso options, all of which look really good. There is sufficient parking in the private parking lot The only downfall are the hours. They close early, which means I miss out on it during the week. I highly recommend. Cafe luxxe is my go to coffee spot anytime I'm driving past this area on PCH. I used to live down the street from the Santa Monica location and this was by far the best coffee in the area. A lot of other places don't seem to have the freshest grinds but every time I stop here o always taste the freshness in the coffee roast and the grind. Not to mention the staff at the Malibu location are always super friendly. I don't usually eat here but the few times I have had the pastries from milo and olive they are incredible. read more
