There's some parking, pretty small, but doesn't seem like it's a busy parking lot the day I went. We ordered the Caffé Nico and Caramello (their most popular drinks), and they were so good. Updating review. I went again before a trip to the Getty. I ordered my usual lately latte with oat milk (don't knock oat milk until you try it.) The barista made a cappuccino. Or something. It was NOT a latte. The espresso was at the bottom with hardly any milk at all but a head of foam all the way up the cup sides. I didn't say anything. Caffe Luxxe is a cafe shop in Malibu. Have always wanted to stop in here but always pass it by because it's in a strip mall development on the other side of PCH, not on the beach side where I'm usually focused on. My good friend happens to have a gorgeous beachfront house in Carbon Beach, very close to Nobu. BTW Carbon Beach beachfront is considered Billionaires Row; as most homes in this part of Malibu is Uber pricey, and owned by notable people in entertainment and tech. My friend is in both; very wise. Before that visit, Fendi and I popped in Caffe Luxxe. There was ample parking and I parked out front. It was my first time there and the menu offered a variety of coffees by I ordered an iced almond milk latte. As I waited The counter and display case had lots of tempting sweet and savory goodies that looked delish and healthy, as lots were organic and lots of vegan choices. I passed on treats because I was on way to meet my friend for lunch at Nobu or Mastros Ocean Club. Inside the shop, there were tables and a long tufted cognac color banquet. There was a half dozen matronly looking loud chatty women taking most of the cushy seating. A few guys with their laptops in other tables. So once my iced drink was ready, we went out the back, Fendi had to see the outdoor area, green turf for pets and nicely landscaping hill slope with bright yellow tables and chairs, neat, very nice, she approved 5 star. The iced almond milk latte was really good and had a strong caffeine taste as I like, 5 star. Friday's Staff (bearded guy and brunette hair gal) were less than helpful with a tepid demeanor. In fact a nice male customer standing behind me was more helpful and super friendly with me and Fendi. That customer made suggestions that made my ordering easy and less complicated. It was passed noon and it seemed the staff needed a caffeine shot to fix their attitude; a generous 2 star. My carbon beach friend was amused by this, and offered me a homemade Nespresso drink from his cool looking espresso machine. While I go to the Brentwood location more often, this is my go-to coffee shop when I am riding my bike in the Malilbu / Santa Monica mountains. Parking is super easy here as you can park in their private lot or on PCH. I've never had a bad coffee drink here and their pastries are above average. Cool coffee shop in Malibu near the beach. I had never been and the two baristas were very friendly and helpful. I got a couple of pastries and an oat milk caramello latte and it was pretty tasty! The lemon bar was good, but wish it was a little more tart. The brownie was REALLY chocolatey. I'd go back if I was in the area, but wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to try it again. The coffee here is delicious! I preferred the mocha over the shakerato, but both were very good. Made to order, do expect to wait a bit. The quality and taste is well worth the splurge, though I do wish they had larger sizes available. Their small is 8 oz, the large 12 oz, I could easily drink double, especially on a hot day at the beach or shopping in the area. Service is wonderful, I love the space, so bright and spacious with plenty of seating inside as well as out. Hands down best coffee in Malibu and maybe best coffee in Los Angeles. The barista's are highly skilled and incredibly welcoming. The only issue is they recently changed their bakery items and to my taste they are no longer feel as delicious as the coffee. Croissants under cooked and doughy,muffins not particularly flavorful. Loved it! The M Hotel gave us a coupon for a free beverage here. Decided to try it. They have these incredible ciabatta sandwiches. Moist, light, crisp roll with ham and butter, for example. This sandwich heated up was divine, top quality and so so delicious! The service is great, plenty of seats, great cappuccuno, made with love. Have yet to find a better cup of coffee than Caffe Luxxe. Simply love this brand. I first experienced Caffe Luxxe at the Brentwood Country Mart. I was smitten at first sip with this expensive java fix. When the Malibu location opened I immediately planned a visit. I find the location in the 'Bu to be more my speed. It's less busy so the wait time isn't as much of a commitment. The store itself is also quite a bit larger with ample inside seating and a cute hidden seating area in the back of the complex as well. As like the other locations they have freshly baked pastries from Huckleberry daily, offer a nice selection of bagged cookies and fun paper goods (think greeting cards). They also purvey some other novel Knick knacks like kitchen items or vintage cased mints. They are selling their beans for home, too. I spotted a couple bags but apparently it's popular because they did not have a ton in stock. It is the best almond milk latte I've had. My husband loves their mochas & pastries. Delicious establishment and right at home in Malibu. LOVE the location at Carbon Beach. The employees are very happy coffeehouse with great teeth (very bu). The products are consistent and fresh. Walking in, the vibe of the place set me up for the enjoyment of my morning caffeine injection. The decor, the music (OG Hotel Costes), the barista's highly cultivated look, it totally works. The Caffe Nico was awesome. The cinnamon was fresh and so fine that it made the flavor come alive. The almond croissant had great texture and was a perfect balance to the drink. This Chic Coffee Shop off PCH is definitely work a stop. Perfect place to come bring laptop and get some work done. The drinks are amazing, I ordered Mocha iced taste like chocolate milk. It's very clearly a way to prevent people from sticking around for long; a grab and go fast coffee business disguised as a community space. Malibu does not have many strong study and work spots for students and working professionals and this is exactly what coffee shops and community spaces are *for.* How does a space encourage solo folks to come and meet new people if they have nothing to do? Always got to have my morning coffee. My friend found this place after we ventured the Venice pier. They have a small parking lot that they share in a tiny plaza with other stores. I really loved this place because of the vibe I got from it, the interior of the place is amazing, and they have a lot of seating both indoor and outdoor. The seats inside are really comfy compared to other cafes I've been to. The service here is also top notch too. They offer a variety of coffee, teas, pastries and they have small items like cards that you can buy. My coffee (latte) was delicious and was made perfectly. My boyfriend ended up ordering a cappuccino that also was really good. In addition to that, he ordered a chocolate chip cookie that tasted so different from other places I've been to. It seemed like it had a little it of salt on it, making the taste of the chocolate chip cookie a little more sweeter. read more

Eric and staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about what makes them unique in the coffee space and let me tell you, as a self-proclaimed mocha connoisseur, the Caffe Luxxe Mocha (with oat milk of course) might be the best mocha I've ever had. This is probably one of my favorite coffee shops around the Malibu area. I always find the staff to be inviting and kind. The coffee here is great IMO. I especially like the cafe nico drink (candied orange syrup and perfect espresso w/just a touch of milk). The space is also comfortable with a large outdoor seating area in the back. One problem..as everyone has mentioned.. no WiFi & almost no cell service. Kind of crazy because you can't tend to business while there which is a shame.
