Caffe Amouri is quite a favorite coffee shop in the area. It's almost always packed with people. They have a lot of tables and chairs for people to settle down on. It can be loud in there depending on how busy they are, but if you use headphones, you should be fine. I've seen plenty of people do work in there and have no problem concentrating. They have an extensive menu that includes both hot and cold drinks and snacks that include pastries and sandwiches. Even though they do offer pastries, keep in mind that they do have limited quantities for the day. They might run out of something if you're dropping by later in the day. I've had their hand-shaken iced tea and brownies. The hand-shaken iced tea was refreshing, and the brownie was just the way I liked it: chewy and just sweet enough without being too sweet. Overall, I had a good experience and would not hesitate to come back again.

    How cool is that?!

Delicious coffee, friendly staff, comfortable vibe. This is a legit roaster, i.e. they roast their own coffee beans. Lots of choices, different styles, single origin & blends, light roasts to dark roasts. Convenient location in downtown Vienna. And the walls are lined with cool vinyl records.

Café Amouri is a favorite coffee shop and meet with your friends place around Vienna. It's a lot of fun, for people of a certain age, to look at all the album covers on the walls and reminisce about when we first brought those same LP's home. This visit, we had a mango smoothie and a Mexican hot chocolate. It was interesting to note that the smoothie was dispensed in a plastic cup while the coffee was poured in a ceramic cup so loved and obviously washed many, many times that the decoration on it was almost completely scrubbed off. We found that the hot chocolate, much like its container, was worth the trouble of repeating again and again. The chocolate had a really nice kick of heat at the end which made it special. The smoothie was fine but just a little more icy with less fruit flavor than at other places we have enjoyed them. As an accompanying snack, we got an almond croissant which I'm sure was brought in and was just ok. Café Amouri has a wide selection of teas, coffees and other hot and cold drinks as well as some snacks (that I'm sure are brought in from the outside). The staff was very helpful and friendly and the vibe is definitely social but in a relaxed way. The parking out front may get tight but there is more around the back.

Caffe Amouri is a really good place to get Coffee at in Vienna. Since it's not a chain, you can feel that it's a community staple. It has album covers on the wall and the next room where you can sit down after order is spacious and just feels comfy. Great if you need to get work or you just need a nice break for a good couple of minutes. I'll be honest, I was genuinely confused about ordering because the counter is a bit hard to see if there is a line but I figured it out and was able to order. I got the Honey Cinnamon Latte & a Croissant as a small pick me up before actually getting dinner. The Honey Cinnamon Latte features espresso, steamed milk, light microfoam with real honey and cinnamon powder. The barista who made the latte also made a cute bear latte art too! It was a good balance of not too overpoweringly sweet and not overpoweringly strong either. This was a pleasant drink to sip on even though I finished in minutes. The croissant, it's great but I didn't really think it was any different from any that I have eaten. If this was closer to me, I'd definitely check it out more.

You have to try their Maple Ginger latte! One of the best drinks I've ever had in a cafe.

Over a decade of new coffee shops coming and going and this place still ranks one of my highest. Though my go-to coffee order has changed through the years, this place remains consistent and their beans never disappoint. My order nowadays is an iced americano - the medium has the perfect three shots to ice and water ratio. They've expanded the cafe and there is more seating available. Still great/friendly service and a chill environment to catch up with a friend or do some work. They also host coffee-making classes and have made online ordering available.

I have wonderful memories of coming here as a child with my mom and my sister for breakfast and smoothies in the summer. I came back for the first time in a long time recently and got coffee here for the first time (an ode to being a grown-up, I guess?). The espresso shot in my small iced latte was extremely weak but their smoothies are still fire.

Such a community spot! The grilled cheese and tomato bisque hit the spot and the honey matcha was pretty dang good too! I'll be back! Great vibes!

Drinks were made incredibly fast even with so many people in front of me. They were delicious! Plenty of seating inside. Huge indoor area. Very convenient location. Really cool flavoring options for lattes. I got a pumpkin pie latte even in the summer it was wonderful!!!!

What a warm inviting coffee shop. Loved all the records lining the walls. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy your goodies. I grabbed an iced tea and crumb cake and let me tell you, the crumb cake was out of this world. When in Vienna, for sure pay them a visit.

I've been to this location when it first opened years ago and they've really upped their menu and decorations inside since. The ambiance inside is beautiful, ideal for anyone looking for a good Instagram picture. There's so many angles and details so that no matter where you're sitting, there's a good vibe. There's also gorgeous seating outside since it can get crowded. For food, you order from the front and they'll call you when the food is ready. We ordered the dubai gelato and pistachio lokmas. Both were presented tastefully to make sure our eyes and cameras wanted to eat before our stomachs. The dubai gelato was a quality dessert with a good ratio of milk: cream. The pistachio flavor was evident on top, but it was just a kinda tart vanilla ice cream with toppings. I did like it, however, and it paired well with the lokmas. The lokmas were fried to perfection, a nice amount of chewy, and covered with a good ratio of pistachio cream. They were a decent size and conducive to sharing. The prices of everything, overall, was pretty expensive, but the quality definitely made up for it. I'd recommend this cafe to someone looking for a unique sweet treat, catching up with a group of girl friends of 2-4 people, or for a first date!

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee started as a wholesale coffee supplier before opening its first café in Dearborn, Michigan, in 2021 by Hatem Al-Eidaroos (who serves as CEO) and Munif Mawer. Qamaria is on the back-side of a strip mall, off of perpetually busy Maple Ave (aka, Rt. 123). Do yourself a favor and park in the back lot since there are more available spaces. I met up with some other coffee lovers at their Vienna, VA location and had a lovely afternoon. The interior is tastefully decorated Yemeni artwork through out the space, lots of natural lighting, and comfy benches and more private seating area towards the back. One thing I'm not a fan of is the ordering system. All orders are placed via a SINGLE iPad style tablet. I interact with tablets and self-service kiosks all the time in retail/restaurant settings. My main issue is there is only ONE tablet for ordering which can create long lines since not everyone is as familar with the interface. I waited about 8-10 min to place my order; and after another 10-15 min, my beverage and dessert was ready. I will say, this is some of the better coffee I've tasted in the DMV. My iced latte was yummy with a strong espresso flavor. The house special which is all over Qamaria's social media, is their honeycomb cake; and I can see why. Visually, it is very Instagram friendly with its light and flaky crust stuffed with cream cheese, and then drizzled with honey. The texture was suprisingly light and the cream cheese and honey combo gave it that slightly "sweet and salty" flavor profile. Spending time catching up with old friends over coffee and pastries in the comfortable confines of Qamaria was an excellent way to spend an afteroon. With tax and tip, an iced coffee and slice of honeycomb cake totaled approximtely $18.
