Shout out to the amazing staff at this location! Diana, Maynor, Wendy, etc., everyone is super friendly and professional. I come here at least once a week and I'm always greeted right away. My current fav drink is the flat white with 2%, and their iced chai latte w/ almond milk and 1 shot of espresso. Their Greek yogurt and Mediterranean chicken salad is yummy too.

Coffee here is always amazing. I also really like the Bondi Blue Smoothie. I miss the her -scrambled eggs on toast that used to be on the menu. I ordered the Soft Chili Scramble with Avocado, thinking it would be similar. It basically was, but I had missed that the eggs were "shallot-folded" and they were just too onion-y for me. I also was expecting heat just from the chili oil surrounding the dish, not realizing it would also be in the eggs, so it was a bit spicy for my preference. Lesson learned. Service was friendly enough.

Excellent food!!!! Expeditious service and adorable coffee shop ambiance. I love that there's an option to order your food online but a server still comes to offer to help. Can't wait to come back!

the only good thing going for this place is their employees and the interior itself. cute place, can definitely see it as an beach-side cafe, as shown in the photos. the baristas were really kind and accommodating to us when we visited. however, the espresso machine was broken and the kitchen was closed during our visit. everything was extremely overpriced - regardless of the fact that its located in mclean. we got an iced matcha latte and it was thrown out halfway. their menu seems to have a lot of interesting drinks though. the quality of food seems promising as well. may have just caught them at a bad time!

We selected Bluestone Lane based upon their good food, and the menu is very explicit about what has gluten and what is gluten-free. Our server came to our table quickly and was able to answer questions about the gluten-free options. I ordered the BL Burrito, which was very tasty, as was the included side salad. The coffee is very good and did not require any milk or sweetening.

I was in need of a sweet treat and had a good time here. The coffee was excellent and the almond croissant was delicious.

I'm so glad I found this place and tried it out! The place had large windows so the ambience was great. The staff were friendly. The place has very limited seating but I'm glad I was able to sit down and enjoy the breakfast and coffee. I even brought home a bag of the coffee beans! If you are in the area, definitely try it out!

The lady that works at this location is the kindest soul. She's always so positive and happy, that she will put you in a good mood! Really everyone here is awesome. The food is really tasty and fresh too! Highly recommend their breakfast wraps and croissants.

I ordered the seasoned chicken burrito for lunch, which also came with a yummy side salad , with the blue protein smoothie. Both were delicious! The blue smoothie was my favorite. I liked that I got my protein fix as well as delicious, creamy, and fruity flavors.

Came here and got a basic vanilla iced latte and a hot chai latte. They are both good no complaints, but I did wish I tried more unique flavor after the fact. I talked to some patrons who were sitting inside and they said they ordered a white chocolate latte and a strawberry matcha latte. They both said they were phenomenal. I included some pictures of the inside of the café and it's a little bit of an awkward space just because it is so small. You order in person closest to the other side of the doors or you can order on a big iPad where I was standing taking the photo. I thought the drinks took a little bit to come out because there was only one barista making drinks for both the to go orders and for those who are dining in. As you can tell by the photo, there was a short line on this Sunday morning and it got a little cramped with some of the waiters going in and out serving different tables while they were about four or five of us waiting for our drinks to go. I wish there was more of a convenient place for us to be because I felt like if I wasn't standing right by the main doors, I would be on top of others who were sitting down and eating. I do hope to come back to try the food as it looked really good. I think most of the dishes were over $15. This place is located in the middle of the Boro with a bunch of other stores too!

As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.

The seasonal Donuts and the Croissant Tarts keep me coming back! Best Donuts - Pumpkin Pie Donut, Tiramisu Donut, Key Lilme Pie, Boston Cream, and Hot Cocoa Nutella donut. The Cookie Butter donut tasted like creamy peanut butter while the Cannoli donut that didn't have the sweet creamy filling that I was hoping for and the Funfetti frosting was a bit off on the Dot Cake Donut (super fun to see all the dot sprinkles on top!). Croissant Tarts - Both the sweet and savory tarts deliver! The Raspberry Cream Cheese Tart, Red Pepper Feta Tart, Apple Tart, and Everything Tart are all delicious! The classic Garlic Spinach Tart and Shroom Tart are fine. Best Croissants - Christmas Tree Raspberry Croissant, Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse Croissant, Apple Butter Crumble Croissant, Almond Croissant, and Matcha Croissant. The Berry Brioche Tart was fun to try, but not my favorite. The cookies are pretty light and fluffy, the Lemon Cheesecake Cookie tasted like a lemon sugar cookie with no filling. Since we were back in the area for a DMV for a brief visit we knew exactly where we were stopping before heading to the airport. Hubs ordered his usual sausage, egg and cheese sandwich , and I ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich along with an iced mocha. I had completely forgotten they have a Starbucks on-site with a limited menu. Of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing a cookie and a chocolate croissant for later. The food arrived fresh, hot, and exactly as expected. The staff is always friendly and personable. You see professionals, students and the locals coming in and out, but there is seating available. Conversations are at a minimum and despite the attached restaurant you can still hear yourself and the other person without yelling. One thing I appreciate about Best Buns is the consistency. Whether it's been months or years between visits, the quality never seems to change. The sandwiches are flavorful, the ingredients taste fresh, and nothing feels like it was sitting around waiting to be reheated. Everything is prepared to order, and you can taste the difference. My sandwich disappeared one bite at a time, and Hubs completely demolished his croissant sandwich without hesitation. That's usually all the confirmation I need. Some restaurants are good. Some are memorable, but there are the places that become part of your routine whenever you're back in town. Best Buns has earned that status for us. Five stars earned! Consistently fresh. Consistently delicious. We'll be dropping in on another turn and burn later this month...

The floor buzzes with staff and families giving the whole dining room a lively energy. The group had a few picky eaters that got their own dishes, but for the cool kids we shared the Gilani Kebab platter which came with prawns, chicken, lamb; ya, a little bit of everything and was perfect for sharing. The grilled/charred flavor showed through on top of rice and fresh herbs. We also got the whole roasted branzino, cause, who's not up for the challenge. Served in a pistachio citrus sauce over rice, it was very lightly flavored and succulent. The Tahdig did not disappoint, perfectly crisped rice, beautiful color and good flavor! A few dings because the cocktails (and all the drinks) come out very slowly (bar is probably under-staffed) and everything need juuuuuust a little more omff flavor wise. I'm a huge fan of Persian cuisine and the DMV is no slouch here so color me spoiled.
