We went shortly after they just opened. The interior was more spacious than I thought. I think they also have outdoor seating. The owner was very friendly and patiently gave us suggestions on food. We ordered some pastries, dessert and coffee.

Attended their soft opening! The pastries were all very good. It has a large and spacious interior. The exterior is unassuming but it is new so they don't have much signage. The inside has some great seating for large groups to gather however the chairs were a bit tight to walk between tables. Friendly staff and overall welcoming atmosphere. We tried the sandwiches, the bread, the macrons, cakes, cookies, smoothies, and more. I know they are still fine tuning everything but this is a really strong start for the local cafe!

The serve IPA like Brooklyn Pilsner, wine, coffee, and tea. Who needs a bagel! The sandwiches: you can choose what bread you want. Let me tell you that the biscuit was buttery greatness (like a southern Grandmother is back there making 'em!). The sandwich was ham with apricot jam. There is a poached egg (perfectly poached by the way!). Delicious!! We also had the caramel apple hand pie. Delicious although I prefer a lighter crust. The coffee cake was HUGE and delicious. I would come again if in the area. If you are here at Kaiser, it really is a good spot to visit.

Why bother ordering types of drinks? They have a big jugs of tea and lemonade at the stand. We tried a couple of seasonal menu items. Ordered the ricotta pancakes with peach compote. Usually, the ricotta is baked into the pancakes in the recipes I see. These pancakes were totally dry with a huge wallop of ricotta spread on top with canned peaches on the side. Extremely dry. I had to go to the counter and ask for maple syrup. Still, I would definitely never order this again. The pancakes were not only dry, but also hard. The feta avocado spread with flatbread is spicy. It doesn't say that on the menu. The flatbread is nice, but the spread is a bit too spicy for my taste. At least the staff are friendly. Again, people love this place, I don't. This is the third time I've tried it. I won't be back.

I cannot praise enough the high tea at the Ritz Carlton. We gave my daughter a bridal tea shower,…read moreand it was so amazing all because of the staff ! I will say the restaurant is elegant and beautiful, and the food was savory and sweet just amazing, but it is the staff who went above and beyond to make the high tea memorable. This is my third bridal shower. I have given at the Ritz Carlton in Tyson's corner, and I would go no other place. Let me start out by mentioning a few exceptional people. I started planning this in the beginning of the year and Sriram Hariharan is one of the most giving, caring and supportive person I know. He put me in touch with all the right resources. He would follow up to see how things are going. I would say his detail to customer service and experience is exceptional. Next is Rohit Ray who assisted every step of the way helping me with my attendee numbers , the set up design and more. He was there throughout the whole party. Rohit's kindness and grace that is unwavering. Finally, our server Astrid. She oversaw my last shower in January and I know we were in good hands when I saw her last Saturday. she is truly A+. She made sure the event went smoothly. Was proactive in helping us get things organized, and when one of the guests reported she was a vegetarian she made changes so her tea party food was vegetarian. The entire celebration was impeccable. I had 26 people attend and one person shared they've experienced three high teas in London and the experience at this party was the best one yet. After the party ended, I received so many calls telling me how elegant the party was, how exceptional the service was. And how wonderful all the food was. I will give honorable mention to Smail and the director of valet who helped us bring up the party favors and flowers and more. my heart is full. It was a magical experience we will continue to talk about.

Came out in the ceramic tray that reminded me of when I had escargot. The mushroom was chunky with crab and crème spinach in the middle topped off with couple of shrimps and light coating of panko. Really delicious. For our main course we split a wood grilled pork chop and mushroom with gnocchi in truffle sauce. The pork chop was seasoned really well and I don't think I have ever eaten a pork chop that tender. Dipping the pork chop in the truffle sauce and eating it with some gnocchi was a delicious combo. The service was excellent and dishes were priced reasonably.

Even though it's in a high trafffic area, the restaurant has a way of making you feel private and calm. It made the trip to the Tysons area (which is always stressful) definately worth it. FOOD: i had this cole poke salad which was SOO goodl; i hadn't been eating well so i wanted something refreshing; so i believe it was the mango tune poke bowl. a perfect and filling meal. SERVICE: They were top tier! LIke i mentioned, i took myself on a date so i sat at the, and they were very aware to make sure i had everything i needed; and not in a hovering type of way, but it was good. Gonna back again soon!

This puffy, golden, oven-baked masterpiece rose higher than my student loan interest and deflated with more drama than my last relationship. Crispy edges, custardy center, a little powdered sugar on top -- I almost proposed to it right there at the table. Because I live dangerously (and by dangerously, I mean "order like I'm hosting a breakfast summit"), I also grabbed the avocado toast with poached eggs. Those eggs? Runny yolk perfection. Like, "I'd swipe right on you" perfection. They cascaded over the toast in cinematic slow-motion, and yes, I did that thing where you pause to admire the yolk river before diving in. And then came the sunny side up eggs with turkey sausage and wheat toast. The sausage actually tasted like turkey -- juicy, seasoned, not the "sad health food" vibe. Toast was crisp but not weaponized (you know what I mean if you've ever cut the roof of your mouth on a bad piece of bread). Service was friendly, patient, and didn't blink when I basically treated the menu like a bingo card. My only regret? Not wearing stretchy pants. Final verdict: The Original Pancake House isn't just a breakfast spot, it's a spiritual experience. Come for the Dutch Baby, stay because you accidentally order three entrees like me.
