Hands down the best pupusas from a restaurant. This is as close as homemade cooking gets. This restaurant has been open for decades and no much has changed but the prices. It's an old restaurant with an old school style. Call ahead and give them time. We ordered 15 pupusas for the team and work, it took about 30 minutes to have them ready. But worth the wait If dining in, the food comes out super hot, definitely worth the wait.

This is the cutest hole in the wall with amazing food!! You can see the ladies cooking in the back, everything made fresh. Best pupusas i've had in a long time! The service is very fast and kind. they were all welcoming. Hot food and soo tasty great coffee too! Make sure you bring cashhhh!!!!! They were also very busy (sunday morning) so don't be discouraged if there is a wait or placed on hold if you call. they are definitely worth it

The pupusas is delicious BUT THEY ARE VERY RUDE. We've order over the phone before & can customize our pupusas to our liking & the first time I come in person to order & try to customize my pupusas I can't. The lady said that they mix everything all together already but their menu says something completely different. When she gave me back my change she placed it on the counter & didn't say anything.

Pupusa with cheese and beans, pupusa with pork cheese and beans "con todo" and plantains cream and beans.

My mom is Salvadoran so I'm no stranger to BOMB pupusas, and they were really really good. It's a nice little unassuming spot and felt like a local restaurant that I should have visited way sooner. Don't let the busy Anaheim street deter you from coming here! There were so many pick up orders while we dined and I sat for over 1.5 hours catching up with a friend. The service was great, & our server was so nice and welcoming. I have to mention that their platanos con cream & frijoles were also incredible!! AND the prices are great. We left very full, happy and satisfied. Definitely going back soon, gracias!

Great food and great prices. Great customer service. I highly recommend the tacos de tripa! So good and are a good sized taco!

    Pupusas and Chicharrón y Yucca

We ordered pupusas (queso, frijol con queso, revueltas)-all were delicious! The yucca & chicharrón were also tasty. The yucca in particular was crunchy yet soft on the inside. The service was friendly and the woman who was working the front was doing it all with efficiency and a smile. They're a small place, so be patient and kind while waiting. The pupusas are made to order and that takes time. Would definitely recommend this place.

    Two cheese pupusas

Friendly place. Great pupusas. Fast service. We will definitely be back again. Nice to see a small "mom and pop" type of neighborhood restaurant.

It was beautiful inside, I was excited to try their food. We went for Happy hours, their margaritas was buy one get one free. For the price it was good amount. When we got seated it was just the two of us and another couple. The server took our orders right away. Ordered the chicken, beef and shrimp empanadas and shrimp ceviche. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! At this point it was just the two of us and the server. Waited roughly 45 minutes for our food because it looks like the server decided to take a lunch while we wait for our food. The server did not check on us or apologize to us that it was taking a while for the food to come out until she saw the frustration on our face and inform us the food is almost ready! 45 minutes later, she brought out the empanadas and I received two chicken and one shrimp... it was OK with the help of the sauces that was given. The shrimp ceviche was actually good, the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Here's the thing, the menu does not have prices on it and when we received the bill, the ceviche was $22! For the amount and for what it was, it was not worth it. The whole experience was horrible.

It was a little bit early, so the restaurant was completely empty which means service was very quick. I ordered steak with rice beans on the side. The food did not take very long to come out, and there was an assortment of sauces to add to the steak. The meal was not the best. The presentation was very nice and the waitress that took care of us was very friendly however, I do not think I would come back to this restaurant due to many of the items we first wanted were not available.

We made a reservation, mentioned on the phone that it was a birthday, and reminded them again when we arrived. They seated us, handed us... one menu for the table, and left us to contemplate our life choices. About 30 minutes later after we started wondering if our server had transferred to another restaurant, I had to track down a manager just to get someone to greet us. To his credit, he apologized and comped our first round of drinks and an appetizer, which was appreciated. Unfortunately that was the only redeemable detail of this whole experience. . The menu was surprisingly limited and they were already out of the ceviche. The ocean view? Gorgeous. The service? More elusive than Ted Cruz during state emergencies. Our cocktails were around $20 each and served in plastic cups. I kept waiting for someone to tell me the real glasses were coming. They weren't. The appetizers finally arrived, and then... silence. Another 30 minutes passed and no one had checked on us. Once again, I had to flag someone down just to order another round because apparently making eye contact was the restaurant's version of table service. The food itself wasn't worth the wait. The nachos genuinely reminded me of Taco Bell not as an insult to Taco Bell, which at least knows exactly what it is. The calamari was actually decent, but it couldn't carry the rest of the meal. We were on our way to the Lil Wayne concert at the amphitheater afterward, so abandoning ship wasn't really an option. By the time we finished even after they comped an appetizer and our first round, two more appetizers and three cocktails still came to $127. We asked them to validate our parking. They took the ticket, came back and told us it was validated. We pulled out of the parking lot.. and still got charged $45. The concert which unlike dinner was awesome. Long Beach has too many fantastic restaurants to spend your money here. I'd happily come back for the view. I'd just eat literally anywhere else first. We'll call it even since my bestie puked all over their parking lot upon our departure. Did ya'll know cutwaters were so lethal? TF. Ps.. party of 3 and they added a required 20% gratuity???

A great alternative to Porto's!…read more I bought a wide variety of empanadas here, including the breakfast and burrito flavors, and they were all incredibly savory and delicious. You have the option to buy them frozen to save for later, but they honestly taste best when you eat them fresh right at the bakery. A quick tip if you order online: Make sure to go straight to the front and let one of the many employees know you are there for a pickup. They only call out names for in-person orders, so you'll be waiting a while if you don't speak up! I also tried their new seasonal sandwich--the pulled pork melt and the very popular nonseasonal sandwich crispy chicken sandwich. Both were very filling and packed with flavor. Just make sure to eat these fresh, as they will likely get soggy if you try to save them for later. They have a great selection of desserts and coffee drinks that I didn't have room for this time, but I'll definitely be saving those for my next trip to Long Beach. If you're looking to try something a little different from the usual spots like Porto's, I highly recommend checking this place out. I will definitely be returning to try more flavors!

Parking - Free in a shared large parking lot, plentiful We were both intrigued by their potato balls, empanadas, and breakfast burrito in which we ordered 4 potato balls (2 chicken/2 beef), 2 empanadas (1 chicken, 1 beef), and 1 breakfast burrito to share. Our order came out in about 10 minutes or so, not too busy. Total came out to about $42 which is quite expensive for the amount of items in my opinion. 1. Potato Balls - By far my favorite menu items from the visit, they weren't as crispy/crunchy as Portos but they're bigger. Portions are big and it's filled with your choice of filling, very delicious, highly recommend 9/10 2. Empanadas - Usually I love empanadas but these were a bit disappointing on my end. They were softer than empanadas that I usually have, although delicious still but definitely not my favorite from the bakery. 6.5/10 3. Breakfast Burrito - Talk about portions, this breakfast burrito is loaded with ingredients, eggs among many other ingredients, super flavorful and savory. It does have a bit of a kick to it which adds to the taste, pretty good! 8.5/10 Overall, a solid brunch spot, although a bit expensive, it's still worth to check them out. Pretty decent tasting potato balls, breakfast burrito is big in portion and delicious as well, along with their empanadas which can be a hit or miss depending on the style of empanadas you like. Definitely a good spot for a snack even if you're in the area.

The crowd, the excitement, and the overall atmosphere made it such a fun viewing party. The DJ really helped elevate the experience and kept the energy going all game long. It truly felt like the place to be for soccer fans. Food-wise, I definitely recommend the chicken quesadilla. Also, the mojitos downstairs were excellent--super refreshing and worth trying! Just note they weren't available at the viewing party on the 3rd floor. Overall, such a great spot for a game-day experience. We'll definitely be back, and next time we want to try more from the full restaurant menu.

First time at Olé Bar Tapas Bar & Kitchen, and honestly, three stars is me being generous…read more The space itself is nicely designed, but we were seated at a slanted table and the restaurant was way too hot. Several tables were literally fanning themselves with menus. Our waitress even mentioned it to the manager, but nothing really changed. That alone made the experience uncomfortable. The bigger issue for me was value. I understand tapas are small plates, but for the prices, the quality and portions should be much better. The calamari tasted fine, but there were a lot of red bell peppers and mostly crumbs at the bottom. The mixed olives came in a very small dish with mostly tiny olives with pits, broken pieces, and maybe three decent-sized olives. The garlic shrimp was the standout and was actually very good. The ham and cheese croquetas were four tiny little balls, about the size of mini store-bought frozen meatballs, served with a little sweet tomato sauce underneath. Not terrible, just extremely small and not memorable. Drinks were mixed. I enjoyed the wine flight trio. My mom had the classic mojito, and my sister wasn't impressed with the mezcal Negroni. The biggest disappointment was dessert. We ordered the churros with chocolate sauce. I've lived in Spain and Spanish cuisine is one of my specialties, so I know what churros con chocolate should be. These were pale yet somehow overcooked, and the sauce was very light brown, extremely hot, and tasted more like butter, cream and sugar than chocolate. To her credit, a second waitress did try to help since our original waitress event to break and was very kind. Since my family had already eaten some of the churros and didn't know any better, she explained she couldn't fully remove the dessert, but she gave me a $9 discount using her employee discount. I didn't ask for a discount, rather to inform the kitchen. I appreciated that gesture, so thank you to her for making an effort. Service overall was okay, but our water wasn't consistently replenished and we eventually had to ask for ice water, especially frustrating considering how hot it was inside. Our bill came out to about $156 for three drinks, bread with tomato, calamari, olives, garlic shrimp, croquetas and churros. For that price, the quality, portions, service and overall experience just didn't match. Nice ambiance and good garlic shrimp, but the menu needs some serious tightening up. Three stars. There's potential here, but right now it feels overpriced for what you actually get.

July 19th 2026 Sunday…read more This spot did not have to many people inside for the FIFA world Cup Final match between Argentina vs Spain. It was very accomodating since everywhere else was packed! We wanted to find some shade as well since it was 90 degrees outside. In parallel to this event, there was a city event going on at the same time called Beach Streets. That event was awesome as well! We were hungry so we posted up here from our bike ride. My wife and I got ID'd just to come in. Why ID if it is a restaurant, did not make sense? We did not have a host to sit us. Sit as you see was the service provided. Once we sat the waiter took our order. We wanted Sangria but come to find out they had nothing in stock. A restaurant that is Spanish desent and has FIFA world cup soccer being televised with out Sangria wine. Big surprise there!. We ordered a pitcher of Margarita. 10 mins to drop off and took another 17 minutes for our waiter to take our order. Ordered ceviche, empenadas and Lomo Saltado. All received within a 15 min time frame. Not going to complain about the taste, all is good. Presentation and billing is my problem from my dissapointment statements listed below. To get to the point, my complaints of dissapointment in details. This place is expensive!! The presentation of the food delivered was nothing special. The quanity being served for $26 a plate did not do justice. $16 appetizers of Ceviche and Empenadas. The margarita pitcher was $55 and it was filled mostly with ice. Lacked liquor, a bit stingy on their serving. Received our bill, they automatically but a 20% service charge tacked on my bill! Keep in mind It is only two people not a party of 6. I want the option to decide myself if the waiter is worthy of a good tip with provided service. The guy was hustling trying to take everyones orders. What type of management understaffs on a FIFA World Cup Championship game? Just one guy taking care of the entire restaurant is not acceptable. He was nearly non existence on our stay. Also, what type of managent doesnt stock alcohol up for the big game? The place looks and feels runned down. Tables looked old, restaurant was hot. Plastic Forks and spoons provided with one napkin. Lol. Just full of dissapointments. My final bill came out to $140. The nail in the coffin for me to rate this place only 1 star was the automatic service charge attached. I disagree with this restaurants billing policy. They stronghold you to pay for service, even if the service is bad. Overall, the taste is good, but if your going to charge me $26 for a plate, at least give me some silverware and clean my tables. I have been here a few times since the early 2000s. This place needs a makeover. Tables are dirty outside and inside. Charging for high quality prices for a place that doesnt deliver the ambiance. Total dissapointment on my visit. "My experience only." Ask them to remove the service charge. Complete BS
