We ordered breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The wait staff was reasonably attentive, though my coffee cup remained empty after it I finished it, shortly after breakfast arrived. But the real problem was the food. I ordered the omelet with spinach, blistered tomatoes and cheese. Only a few of the VERY plentiful cherry tomatoes were blistered, and it tasted like neither the tomatoes nor the spinach had been seasoned--bland, bland, bland. There was an overwhelming amount of cheese. The potatoes that accompanied the omelette were only OK. I'd take a hard pass on this place. read more

My girlfriends and I booked a reservation here for brunch for a late Christmas exchange/book club get together. This place is SO cute! Our reservation was for 10:30 am and we didn't realized they closed at 11 for breakfast, but we didn't feel rushed at all and all of the staff checked in on us and were so sweet! We all ordered a mimosa and a friend and I both got caramel lattes with oatmilk, which were delicious and not too sweet! We all wanted to try different things, so I ordered chilaquiles, two friends got the avocado toast, one got the hotcakes, and another got the egg breakfast sandwich! We all absolutely loved our food. My friends were surprised by the presentation of the avocado toast, I think they expected the more traditional slice of toast with avocado and toppings, rather than the sliced baguette. But they both said it was delicious and filling despite the small presentation. I LOVED my chilaquiles! It was a surprisingly big portion for the price, I had more than enough to share and take home. The chips weren't super soggy, the sauce wasn't too spicy for me, and the toppings were plenty. Soooo good! The hotcakes, breakfast sandwich, and sides of potatoes we ordered were also so good! We ate here twice during our stay. It's very conveniently located in the Whitney Peak Hotel. After a long day of travel then walking, we decided for a little desert and after dinner drinks. I had a glass of prosecco and the caramel brownie. Both were delicious. My daughter had the caramel gelato and she loved it. My husband is a cappuccino connoisseur and he said it was one of the best he's ever had, and we lived in Italy for 3 years. Then we had breakfast before our trip to Tahoe. My husband, daughter and her fiancé had the classic. All with varying different combos of eggs and bacon. All cooked to perfection. I had the pancakes with granola and strawberries. Who knew pancakes and granola went together. I also had a side of potatoes. Everything was delicious. I had a hot mocha and my husband had another cappuccino. The service was great. The Restaurant is very cozy and the lighting is perfect. From start to finish Cristina took care of me and was super sweet and attentive. I had the cauliflower wings with buffalo sauce which Cristina recommended and she did not disappoint! They were crispy and big and very flavorful. I also had the Caesar salad, I know pretty basic but it was a giant portion, drenched in dressing which I love and delicious. My only thing was thicker lemons to squeeze but Cristina took care of that and gave me plenty of them to enjoy on my salad and in my coke. Overall the experience was top tier and in the restaurant they have a salsa night that goes on from 6:30-10pm on Thursdays and I very much enjoyed hearing the fun music playing! read more

I made a reservation online for New Years Eve around 7pm. With streets being closed, parking was a bit of an issue, and we arrived about 10 minutes after our reservation time. The cafe was not yet busy, but service was slow. Our waiter seemed a bit flustered and uneasy. We ordered a starter and after about 10 minutes we hadn't gotten it yet. He returned and asked if we wanted to order a starter... The starter of brussels sprouts was flavorful and was a great beginning to the meal. After about another 10 minutes our server asked if we wanted the check- I gently reminded him that we hadn't ordered our entrees yet. I still am not sure what the disconnect was. Our meals were of huge portions and the plating was beautiful. We ended up getting to go boxes. Although both the food and the atmosphere were pleasant, the service was the one that really set the tone for the evening. There is no guarantee that I will rush back. read more

Went Sunday with a reservation and it wasn't very busy. It took 25 mins to even be greeted by a server and 45 mins before we got our drinks. We weren't able to order our food until the 50 minute mark. Server was also making the drinks and it took her 3 trips to bring the entire round. Food arrived quickly thankfully and was okay, nothing spectacular. Dishes sat in front of us for another 30-40 minutes. When it came time to pay the bill they took the credit card for 15 minutes. Another waitress came back and asked if the card was ours? We said yes and it still hadn't been tendered. 20 minutes to get a credit card ran. We left at 1:40 for an 11 o clock reservation. No, we weren't in any hurry but the length of service and complete disconnect in staff certainly won't have us coming back. read more
