I've always wanted to try Cafe Roze for years, but at the time they didn't take reservations. Now that they take reservations, I had to go check it out for myself. I went here on a Sunday morning for brunch. It was crowded as the space is small. The service was good and our waiter was very attentive providing great suggestions. I went with the hard boiled BLT. I never imagined that a hard boiled egg would elevate a BLT. The sandwich was large and I enjoyed every bit of it. I wasn't a fan of the shoestring fries, just not my preference.

Came to Nashville to go wedding dress shopping with my daughter and had brunch here first. What a charming place. Everything about it was special. The vibes, the food, the service and the decor made it a place to love and return to. We had mimosa's, a roze bowl with chicken and a smashburger. Be sure to stop in when you are in Nashville.

My husband and I often say if we could pick one restaurant in Nashville to have every meal if we had to pick it would be this one. We go at least once a week. We always bring out of town guests. It never misses. Coffee? Healthy lunch bowl? Smash burger? Fries? Dirty martini? Jazz night? Literally all of the above and more. Everyone is so welcoming and we will never stop going.

Was in town visiting and my friend brought me here for breakfast/brunch one day. This place is super super cute! I'm from Miami so we don't have a ton of cute quaint coffee shops/breakfast places like this so I was very excited to try this place out. I love the vibe inside the place and I like that there's the big patio with outside seating on the side. The bar inside is super cute too. I got the breakfast sandwich and literally devoured it it was so good! It came with my favorite kind of fries too (the really skinny crispy ones). I don't drink coffee so I don't have anything to drink. I was made aware by our waiter that they're only allowed to serve beer and cider on the sidewalk, where our table was located. You can only have wine or liquor if you're inside (and I'm assuming the patio?). I thought this was strange (I know it's a Nashville law not a business rule, just saying I found it weird being from Miami where we don't have any laws like that). Make sure not to sit at a table on the sidewalk if you want to drink anything that's not beer or cider.

A go-to spot for brunch or lunch! The food here is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere never disappoints. I recently had the Al Pastor Panzanella -- the chicken was flavorful and perfectly moist. My friend ordered the Simple Breakfast with shiitake mushrooms and absolutely loved it. The steamed turmeric latte was rich and comforting, just right for a crisp fall day. We also tried the seasonal matcha latte, which was equally satisfying. This place offers the perfect mix of delicious food, a warm ambiance, friendly staff, and a thoughtful, ever-changing seasonal menu. It's a great spot to bring out-of-town guests -- a true Eastside gem. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Cafe Roze is a solid restaurant with a open, welcoming atmosphere that is great for a cozy date night or a small gathering of friends. Their cocktails are creative and some are better than others. They have a good wine selection, but they don't have wine glasses and instead put them in small water glasses. I just don't love that and wish they'd invest in some proper glassware. But on to the food. I love the avocado hummus and it's consistently delicious. The bread that comes with it is also excellent. The smash burger with fries is also a standout and on all of their menus. I love coming for happy hour where you can get crudité, oysters and fries plus drinks on discount. The service is friendly and good, and I recommend coming to Cafe Roze if you want a great meal!

Hello everyone! So we find ourselves in the wonderful city of Nashville, Tennessee! As usual we decided to look for a cool restaurant off the beaten path and we luckily ended up at Cafe Roze. Truth be told it as ChatGPT that came up with the idea and I am happy it did. Everyone always thinks of Broadway and downtown Nashville but you really need to breakout in to the surrounding areas if you want to get a feel for the city and culture. Upon arriving we were greeted immediately and their hospitality was off the charts. They really made us feel at home immediately and our server Mila was awesome as well. Cafe Roze is quaint, very clean and definitely a locals hang out which is awesome. On this occasion we had the Simple Breakfast, Coconut Yogurt Bowl, Country Ham Toast and some Cafe Latte's all of which were absolutely excellent and fresh! The buttered thick cut sourdough toast was off the charts. Very cool vibe as it has an old school Town feel as they are nestled on the corner of an intersection that has commercial businesses in the middle of a picturesque residential neighborhood. Really has that Norman Rockwell America feel. Came to find out that this area (which is called Eastwood) was redeveloped and used to be a bad part of Town in the early 90's but now the homes are all beautiful and updated. Was a great ride in and our UBER driver Thomas gave us the whole rundown. By the way, did I mention they also have a full bar! The hey have you covered if you want to show up and have some adult beverages at lunch time, so we are all good on that front. Really they are firing on all cylinders and could not recommend you checking them out more if you are in the Nashville area. Enjoy and Bon Appétit mes amis!

Loved brunch! One of the freshest and tastiest bloody Mary's in Nashville. Killer espresso martini. Egg sandwich was great. Not too heavy. Loved the side salad. Hard boiled egg BLT was a fan favorite. Free Parking is a struggle. A couple of pay lots near by. Beware of the train!!

I love this place! The vibes are amazing and it's so pretty. The only thing is that parking is street parking. Also, all the servers are nice and really attentive. My friend wanted ranch for her fries and the server brought a second batch even without being asked. For food, I recommend the avocado hummus, it's delicious. The bread it comes with is also amazing. I had their simple pasta. It was good although it had too much sauce for my taste. The only thing I did not like was their margarita. I had the Botanica and didn't really love it. I drank it just cause, but didn't love it.

This is a great little restaurant located in the Eastwood area of Nashville. Four of us had dinner and all expressed how great it was on the way home. We started with 5 appetizers to share. Each one was unique, thoughtfully prepared and delicious. See the photos. For my meal I had the swordfish. It came with a fave bean sauce and cauliflower vegetable mix. It was excellent. Others had the curry eggplant and the paprika chicken - again excellent dishes. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

There are drinks that are refreshing/lighter and ones that are more spirit-centered. They also have small bites that are really excellent pairs to the drinks. 2 - It is very small. So if you feel like you'll land on a spot because someone popped in and just left, you might be out of luck. We were able to be seated because we came a little earlier, and I believe someone at the bar left earlier than anticipated. 3 - It's quite dark/moody. If you have a person who's weirded out by spaces like this, go somewhere else. If you can't read the menu in the darker/lower lit spaces, bring out your phone's flashlight. One thing that's GREAT about the menu is that they have it in contrasting colors (ie light paper and black ink) and the font is large. There was a spot that I went to recently where the lighting was very low and they used a dark tan font on manila colored paper. If the lighting was normal, it wouldn't have been a problem ... but in lower light, the lack of contrast was not helpful! 4 - The staff is really great. I know that I mentioned it before, but if you've ever been to places like The Aviary in Chicago or places like this, you'll feel that this is right in the same lane.

You step into a clean, medium fancy, and extremely well-decorated but still small bar with really casual vibes. There's a mix of bar-top and small tables/couches for seating, but because of the small size, this is ideal for a solo, a couple or a group of no more than 4. It was decorated for Christmas when i came but the normal vibe seems more European punk, and I love the purple-green lighting -- hope that's always around! I loved the ambiance in here, it's upbeat, you can tell the bartenders have regulars and are friendly to chat with, and overall feels like it's a fun spot, even just walking inside. I came solo for a nightcap after dinner and was able to walk in and grab a seat at the bar. Service was just two bartenders for the whole place (which was about 3/4 full), but they were both pretty quick in providing me a menu. The menu is pretty large - almost 4-5 pages purely of cocktails, but also a few options for wine, beer, NA and extremely light bites food (wouldn't plan on having a full meal here.) I opted for two drinks off their signature cocktails list: Dolce Inverno (pistachio liqueur, vodka) and the Smoke n' Cider (apple brandy, cinnamon, smoke). Both drinks were pretty enjoyable, particularly the Smoke n' Cider which had a nice presentation to smoke the drink and also just great flavor. I do think these seem on par with other cocktail spots in east, but maybe not my top tier craft cocktail spots overall for Nashville. Service was super friendly and I think I enjoy the vibes here even more than the actual drinks. Having a small private parking lot is a huge plus, because otherwise parking would be a bit difficult as there aren't many options for street parking near here. This would be an awesome spot to catch up with a friend or just people watch solo, and I'm certain to be back!

In the spirit of getting out and making an effort to explore my new city I decided to find a place to go and enjoy a solo date night and grab a fancy drink. You know the vibes a Carrie Bradshaw moment but make it Nashville style. I found this place via instagram and read all the great reviews and decided to get out and try it. A cozy place tucked and hidden in the heart of east Nashville. It is somewhat hidden with a small parking area but I was fortunate enough to get parking right in front. I walked in and the decor is pops of red and black mixed with gold. The light is dim so it's a perfect date night spot or place to meet and have an intimate small group gathering. It wasn't busy and I enjoyed that there wasn't too many people. The vibes are relaxed and I was greeted right away. Checking out the menu I decided on a spicy margarita concoction with tajin. The bartender brought it out and it was the perfect blend of flavor, spice and alcohol. It was refreshing and sweet/spicy. Perfect. This place is the perfect solo date night spot or date spot with your special someone or catch up sessions with friends. I enjoyed sitting, sipping and writing this review. The night we went was warm, and there were plenty of people in the pub, but the loud rap music playing over the speakers didn't seem to fit the vibe of the thoughtful interior design at all to me. I should note I would feel the same if they were blasting the same country top 40 as the spots on Broad or regular top 40, and I know, to some, it's a petty thing, and the staff probably play what they want, but as far as ambiance goes, that was the only negative thing I remember feeling at the time, and because it was audio, it was inescapable. If the music had been a bit lower or had been instrumental, I think it would have been a more immersive experience. We got nice drinks in the parlor bar and enjoyed the music room, and the visual aspect was lovely. I wished I'd had more time to spend there. Perhaps there'll be a "next time."
