Easy 10/10 A good burger will always be a favorite in my book. The smash burger was very good. The sauce had a tangy slight taste to it, but better on the burger than on the side. Just get it how it comes. It's the pickle that comes on it, that's just as good. I'm never a pickle on a burger type girly, but this pickle was next level. I had to order extra. I've always wanted to try Cafe Roze for years, but at the time they didn't take reservations. Now that they take reservations, I had to go check it out for myself. I went here on a Sunday morning for brunch. It was crowded as the space is small. The service was good and our waiter was very attentive providing great suggestions. I went with the hard boiled BLT. Was in town visiting and my friend brought me here for breakfast/brunch one day. This place is super super cute! I'm from Miami so we don't have a ton of cute quaint coffee shops/breakfast places like this so I was very excited to try this place out. I love the vibe inside the place and I like that there's the big patio with outside seating on the side. The bar inside is super cute too. I got the breakfast sandwich and literally devoured it it was so good! It came with my favorite kind of fries too (the really skinny crispy ones). I don't drink coffee so I don't have anything to drink. I was made aware by our waiter that they're only allowed to serve beer and cider on the sidewalk, where our table was located. You can only have wine or liquor if you're inside (and I'm assuming the patio?). I thought this was strange (I know it's a Nashville law not a business rule, just saying I found it weird being from Miami where we don't have any laws like that). Cafe Roze is a solid restaurant with a open, welcoming atmosphere that is great for a cozy date night or a small gathering of friends. Their cocktails are creative and some are better than others. They have a good wine selection, but they don't have wine glasses and instead put them in small water glasses. I just don't love that and wish they'd invest in some proper glassware. But on to the food. I love the avocado hummus and it's consistently delicious. The bread that comes with it is also excellent. The smash burger with fries is also a standout and on all of their menus. I love coming for happy hour where you can get crudité, oysters and fries plus drinks on discount. Hello everyone! So we find ourselves in the wonderful city of Nashville, Tennessee! As usual we decided to look for a cool restaurant off the beaten path and we luckily ended up at Cafe Roze. Truth be told it as ChatGPT that came up with the idea and I am happy it did. Everyone always thinks of Broadway and downtown Nashville but you really need to breakout in to the surrounding areas if you want to get a feel for the city and culture. Upon arriving we were greeted immediately and their hospitality was off the charts. They really made us feel at home immediately and our server Mila was awesome as well. Cafe Roze is quaint, very clean and definitely a locals hang out which is awesome. On this occasion we had the Simple Breakfast, Coconut Yogurt Bowl, Country Ham Toast and some Cafe Latte's all of which were absolutely excellent and fresh! The buttered thick cut sourdough toast was off the charts. Very cool vibe as it has an old school Town feel as they are nestled on the corner of an intersection that has commercial businesses in the middle of a picturesque residential neighborhood. Really has that Norman Rockwell America feel. Came to find out that this area (which is called Eastwood) was redeveloped and used to be a bad part of Town in the early 90's but now the homes are all beautiful and updated. Was a great ride in and our UBER driver Thomas gave us the whole rundown. By the way, did I mention they also have a full bar! The hey have you covered if you want to show up and have some adult beverages at lunch time, so we are all good on that front. I love this place! The vibes are amazing and it's so pretty. The only thing is that parking is street parking. Also, all the servers are nice and really attentive. My friend wanted ranch for her fries and the server brought a second batch even without being asked. For food, I recommend the avocado hummus, it's delicious. The bread it comes with is also amazing. This is a great little restaurant located in the Eastwood area of Nashville. Four of us had dinner and all expressed how great it was on the way home. We started with 5 appetizers to share. We walked in on a Saturday evening around 6 and sat at the bar easily. The food was delicious, top to bottom. I met up with a friend for breakfast at Cafe Roze, and loved the bright vibes and colorful foods. Even if you're not the biggest breakfast person (which I am not), there's something fun and fresh for everyone on their menu. Coffee is a must here, and if you like honey, you'll love their honey vanilla latte. This is not something that's expressly offered on the menu, but easily crafted with what they have on hand. On a previous visit, I also tried the Roze Latte, which is a bit too floral for my taste, but tasty if you typically go for that sort of thing. For food, I went with their Coconut Yogurt. This is a nice mix of fresh fruit and crunchy granola, and while the yogurt was extra creamy, it didn't taste much like coconut to me. My friend ordered the Egg Bowl, which looked delicious! I look forward to visiting Cafe Roze again soon, and trying some of their lunch and dinner options. Cafe Roze is a cute and modern space for coffee, tea, and food. It is located on the corner of an intersection. I didn't see a parking lot but there is plenty of street parking. I dined solo here on a Sunday morning. When I arrived, staff members greeted me and since most of the tables inside were full, I was offered a corner table, the bar, or an outdoor table. I went with the bar. The menu has some interesting items such as Savory Oatmeal and Smoked Trout Toast. I decided on a Roze Latte with Coconut Milk and the Country Ham Toast. The Roze Latte was delicious and came with pretty latte art. The coconut milk added a creamy and nutty flavor. The Country Ham Toast was a thick slice of toast piled high with soft scrambled eggs, thinly sliced prosciutto, and parmesan cheese. Getting a bit of each component makes for the perfect bite. It can be a bit salty with the prosciutto and parmesan, but it was delicious. The soft scrambled eggs were fluffy but not runny. Really enjoyed this dish. Overall, giving Cafe Roze a 5/5. Service was great; all the staff were friendly and helpful. The ambiance is also really nice. It was light and bright with high ceilings. Noise levels were moderate and it is a comfortable space to dine alone. Food is amazing. High recommend for breakfast, brunch, and coffee. Great brunch spot with tasty, healthy food. We visited with a group of 7, and all of us were very pleased with the food and service. Our waiter was super nice and helpful, and fast too. I tried the savory oats which were exactly what I wanted. I ordered a side of bacon to accompany, and crumbled it into the oats to match the dish (I do have to say that considering the price for the side, 2 bacon strips are a bit on the lower end). I normally wouldn't go for the Paprika chicken and kale but let me tell you, we split everything and by the end we were competing for who gets the last of the kale! Highly recommend trying the Paprika chicken - you won't regret it! It's very tender and moist and our knife cut RIGHT through. We ordered the fries on the side since everyone was raving over them (they are kind of like steak and shake fries but better) We ordered our servers favorite- the "Chili Eggplant" for a starter and I have NEVER had eggplant like that before it was fried, but almost like tempura fried. We're already planning our next trip centered around this cafe. That's how good it is. The Roze Latte was beautiful and delicious. The black coffee was abundantly refilled and satisfying. The stars of my choosing were the ethereal bone bone broth served in a coffee cup. May I have another please? The Roze Bowl left me speechless once it was presented; the beautiful pale pink swath of beet tahini on the side of the bowl paired with a stack of lentil/quinoa/ pickled beets/ carrots/micro greens/zucchini was a delight for the eyes and palate. Cafe Roze has always had a certain charm, but there's one glaring exception--Caroline, the bartender. Her approach to hospitality is nearly non-existent, making what should be an enjoyable experience feel like a chore. I've sat at the bar with her no fewer than 50 times, and not once has she bothered with the basic decency of asking, "How are you?" or even a simple "Thank you for coming." Instead, every interaction feels condescending, cold, and borderline rude. It's baffling to think someone like this represents the front line of guest service. Caroline embodies the worst of what modern hospitality has become--aloof, disinterested, and clearly checked out. I dread sitting at the bar when she's working, and it's hard not to think her leadership is part of the reason why Cafe Roze has seen such high turnover with their bartenders. We had the most amazing breakfast experience at Cafe Roze during a recent Nashville trip. There are so many well-known, tourist-driven spots that are suggested when you travel to the city, but Cafe Roze was so much better than any of those. Located in East Nashville in a very cute, low-key area with ample parking. We came on a weekend for breakfast around 9:30am and there wasn't a wait, which was a pleasant surprise. Service was fantastic during our whole meal and everything we ordered was actual perfection. I started with a latte, which was suggested by the server and one of the best I've ever had. For my meal, I got the Egg Breakfast Bowl which was nutritious, hearty and so flavorful. I would absolutely order it again. The french fries were also delicious, served piping hot, thin and crispy.
