I called Cafe Miriam to place a pickup order 15 minutes before closing. I was 10 minutes away from the cafe. The owner (I'm assuming) was really sweet and said not to rush, he'll get the order made and it will be ready when I get there. The owner was also very kind and we engaged in a short conversation when I picked up the food. I ordered two crepes. One nutella crepe w bananas and one nutella crepe w strawberries and requested extra nutella on both. Boy were they delicious and he gave plenty of nutella on both! We wanted to come back and get them again but the cafe is closed on Mondays. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the food was delicious. I really appreciated it because I know I came right before closing and the owner went out of his way to be pleasant. Thanks so much! When we're back in town we'll be sure to stop by again! read more

This cafe is so quaint and charming on the inside and they also have a lovely patio . The family who runs this place clearly care about their business and that shows through their thoughtfulness and generosity. They were such kind people, the food and drinks were yummy, so you'll feel good supporting this business. It's a small cafe surrounded by some residential houses. Finding parking was super easy. My SO ordered a cortado to share and it was beautifully made and came with a chocolate. The owner brought us a glass of sparkling water to clean our pallets which I thought was really thoughtful of him. We ordered two savoury crepes, the Toscane (chicken, pesto, and sundried tomatoes) and the prosciutto crepe (with spinach, prosciutto, Swiss cheese, and topped with goat cheese). Both were fantastic and really filling. It was such a pleasant experience to sit outside on their patio eating crepes and drinking coffee. All in all, this place is hella cute, hella affordable, and run by a sweet family who are great at anticipating your every need. Awesome Moroccan food that you can tell is made with love! It was our first time trying Cafe Miriam and we will definitely be back! I called to place a takeout order and Touhami, the owner, was informative and friendly - even more so when I went in to pick it up. You can tell that he really cares about the product he puts out and about his customers. We ordered the beef tagine with turmeric and the beef was supple and succulent. All of the flavors were spot on and the sides accompanied the dish very well. My husband loved the juicy kefta kabobs, they were full of flavor - and my favorite was the pickled chicken. Haha, not pickled in the way you would suspect - this chicken was stewed in delicious North African spices and was steaming hot and tender. All around a delicious meal! Thanks Touhami! Awesome spot near city park. Great coffee and a good menu with a lot of variety. I had the toscane and it was excellent. The breakfast Croissant was also very good. Every ingredient is fresh and tasteful. The owner is extremely nice. This is more than an update. Cafe Miriam has pick-up dinner. Order in the day and pick up at six. We had stewed beef with fabulous Moroccan spice. Soooo savory! The chicken was slow cooked and lovely and homey. We also enjoyed the ground beef /lamb kebabs. Tender and mild (like Silent Night , another classic). Tiramisu was a light, sweet finish! All-soul food! We sat down crabby and tired and were talking and smiling as we tasted each other's dishes. We are grateful to have Miriam's and the comfort such food brings. read more

We saw the great reviews and the menu and decided to give this place a try. What a wonderful experience. The ambiance was very "Sunday" - such a a relaxing and cute place to hang out. The crepes and sandwiches were delicious. The owner is such a friendly and welcoming guy. Case in point...When street parking I realized someone else was trying to park and if I moved up they might be able to fit. Turns out it wasn't needed, but was appreciated. As we were sitting waiting for our food, a plate of delicious macarons showed up at our table as a "thank you". It was the owner who had been trying to park. :). He told us the story of his cafe. I'm sad to say I dined at Cafe Miriam recently for lunch and had a mediocre experience. The place itself is very cute--it's a small shop with a couple of seats inside and outside, with plenty of books and art displayed from local artists. We ordered the caprese sandwich, a savory prosciutto crepe, and a dulce de leche crepe to share between two people. The savory crepe was passable, but the caprese sandwich was pretty disappointing--instead of slices of whole mozzarella like I was expecting, it came out with shredded mozzarella. Plus, on the menu it stated that all sandwiches came with a side salad, but I was served grapes (that weren't even washed; I had to wipe off dirt with a napkin). On top of this, our food took quite a while to come out, and for some reason the sweet crepe was made first. I sat there watching as the ice cream melted, waiting for the caprese sandwich to be made last before they brought out our whole order. We had to eat the sweet crepe quickly before all the ice cream became liquefied. On the plus side, I will say that the owner seemed friendly, and the sweet crepe was delicious and came with surprise bananas (this was not advertised on the menu--?). But I was hoping for more ice cream, as it only came with two tiny scoops and the photos made it look like it should have been a more generous serving. read more

We got two sandwiches, the Harvarti and the Paresian. Both really tasty. We also got a yelp coupon deal, if you buy a crepe then you get 50% off a coffee. I don't get the reviews here at all. I came from out of town and went out of my way to go here because of the 5 star reviews. Maybe we ordered the wrong things but the food wasn't great. I got an almond milk latte and actually threw it away because it was so tasteless. I can tell this place has a real neighborhood feel and that the owners know the locals. My food was promptly ready within the time frame they gave me to pick it up and the checkout cashier was very efficient.
