    Thanks for breakfast mom!
    Jazmin T.

Came here to try some yummy coffee and have breakfast. Ordered a vanilla oat milk latte and a breakfast sandwich with an over medium egg. Total came out to $28. A little pricey for a coffee shop in my opinion, however the service was great. Lots of staff were working and checking in throughout my stay. The coffee was delicious, truly would come back for a cup of that. The sandwich with hashbrowns was good. Egg cooked to perfection, but I just don't see myself paying $14+ for a sandwich at a coffee shop. They got a section with all the stuff needed to add to yur coffee, cream, sugar, works and then utensils and sauces for your food. I also saw they had a cereal/granola station that was pretty cute too.

I've only tried this place twice and the first time I just had an iced latte which was okay. I came in Sunday morning with a friend, they were a little busy but we ordered and found a table easily. They have tons of seating space and even a semi private little study pod which we thought was pretty cute. The cashier was nice enough and she answered all of our questions. The downfall of this experience was by far the food. I ordered two breakfast tacos with brisket and cheese, a side of hash browns, and a large matcha latte with marshmallow syrup. Those were the saddest breakfast tacos I've ever had. The brisket was bland, CRISPY, and it was mostly fat inside the taco. Honestly having a surcharge for such mediocre brisket is crazy. I'm not sure how much more the brisket tacos were because I didn't get a receipt but I wouldn't even want to pay $0.25 more. When I ordered the hashbrowns as a side I was not expecting to get two frozen hashbrown patties dripping in oil. In total my meal was about $24. Not worth it at all. My friend had an avocado toast with an egg and even that was bland. How does one mess up avocado toast? Hers was about $19. Also not worth it. The shining stars of the meals were our matcha lattes, they were very earthy even with the added syrups. Maybe we just picked bad dishes and they have better things to offer. However, after reading a few reviews and seeing the cafe owner argue with customers about their bad experiences I wouldn't recommend eating here regardless.

This place is AMAZING--a true hidden gem! My husband and I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning. From the moment you walk in you just feel a warm, welcoming vibe. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is so chill. We both ordered the Hearty Breakfast which includes French toast or waffle, 2 eggs cooked your way, meat, and fruit or hash browns. Holy moly! My over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection! Everything was savory and delicious. And the coffee! Oof! Their honey, cinnamon latte is pure joy in a cup. Seriously. My husband was not a fan of their roasted coffe, however. But, he is super picky when it comes to Hazelnut. Overall, what impressed me the most was their service. You just can't go wrong with friendly people who care about what they do! This is our new go-to brunch spot!!

    Skimpy weird breakfast

What a gross spot. 1 star breakfast experience. The saving grace for 2 stars? The London fog latte. That's the only item we enjoyed during our stay here. Strange breakfast concept with skimpy items that are tasteless and just straight up weird. I ordered a side of hashbrowns to go along with my breakfast taco. What came out on my plate was a freaking joke. A tiny skimpy amount of lifeless hashbrowns that were cold and greasy. No crisp, no taste, no "umph" this is hearty and wholesome! The breakfast taco was unappealing as well. The tortilla was bitter and gross, reminded me of the "Mission Tortilla" brand. The filling inside of the taco was just okay as well. When I think of a breakfast taco, I imagine it coming out with salsa or some type of hot sauce. Nothing. Bland. The breakfast hash that was ordered came in a tiny bowl. When you typically think of breakfast hash, you imagine a hearty and large portion of beef brisket dripping with eggs and all the good stuff. If you're going to overcharge customers, you'd better use fresh tortillas and better ingredients in general. This place was also counter service, so you have to fetch for every single thing. We're spoiled within the inner loop of Houston and appreciate the cafes over there. Service here was just okay, as lukewarm as the food they're serving up. Won't be revisiting and thankfully have no reason, since we're typically not in the area. Maybe you have to look and behave a certain way in order to receive actual food on your plate and better service. But this? This place just ain't it. Bye-bye. Edit: I never asked for a "hashbrown" taco, I asked for a regular egg and cheese breakfast taco with an addition of avocado inside the taco. As well as hashbrowns on the side. And that it be served as a side item. I made that clear to the cashier but I guess she didn't catch that for some reason. Communication goes a long way.

This place was an unexpected surprise - thanks fellow Yelpers for recommending this spot! We came for breakfast on a Saturday morning just after 9am and had the place almost to ourselves - maybe 2 other tables were occupied. The staff was very friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was cozy. I opted for The Marrese coffee drink and the Allen Breakfast plate. The Marrese was deliciously sweet with notes of cinnamon, a perfect drink to get you in the mood for Fall (in June). The Allen Breakfast was a perfect sampling of sweet waffles with savory eggs and your choice of breakfast meat.

Ube cold brew & sausage breakfast sandwich

Cute & cozy cafe located in Tomball that is great for studying! The staff is very friendly and accommodating! I had a zoom meeting at 3 and they allowed me to stay on their outside patio since they closed at 3pm. I tried the sausage breakfast sandwich & it was delicious! The biscuit was soft and not too dry. The Ube cold brew had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming!

This small Latte was $5.00, no refill allowed. Excessively over priced.
    Inez M.

Over priced. $5.00 for small Latte. It's $4.50 plus an unexplained $0.50. I asked the girl at the register about it. Her reply: all coffees are charged a starter $0.50 + cost of coffee. ~ What? See photo.

'The Crazy Cajun' is very good: boudin balls and over-easy eggs on cornbread, topped with Cajun hollandaise. (Note: the cornbread is pretty tall and can be a little dry, so I usually lop off the bottom half.) That was my go-to until a waiter recommended 'Shrimp & Grits Benedict' - shrimp, andouille sausage and over-easy eggs on fried grit patties with Cajun hollandaise. (Talk about a great way to get both grits AND potatoes!) The coffee is OK, portions ample, service excellent and attentive, and staff recommendations trustworthy. In fairness, I need to sample more of the menu as I'm usually tied between two favorite Benedicts. That said, no one I've brought has been disappointed with their choices.

The service is always wonderful. The staff is friendly, attentive, and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. As for the food, it's okay--good, solid breakfast fare, but nothing particularly memorable. The scrambled eggs were just regular scrambled eggs, the bacon was a little on the cardboard side but still edible, and the potatoes weren't really my favorite. I also thought the French toast portion was surprisingly small for the price. Overall, Sizzle & Brew is a comfortable local spot with a welcoming atmosphere and consistently great service. While the food may not be my favorite breakfast in town, it's a nice place to meet a friend, enjoy a leisurely brunch, and catch up over coffee.

This pancake was bigger than my face, and was one of the best I've had in a long time. It was light and fluffy, and had a nice crisp to the top of it as well. I also had some of their breakfast sausage, which was soooo good, and great to get a two bite in one with the pancake and sausage together!!! I also opted to get the chicken avocado club. The bread was toasted beautifully, there was lots of bread with the meal, so I ended up taking out the middle bread piece. The bacon was perfectly crispy, chicken grilled nicely, the only thing I wanted more of was avocado, didn't seem to be on 2 of my 4 slices. The fries were super hot, fresh, and crispy. Our service was really great, such a sweet woman that took care of us and also checked on us often. Again we asked the hostess to intervene. Got our food. He never came back to refill our drinks or take away our dirty dishes or ask if wanted more fish. We asked hostess when KJ came to work, thinking he might be at the end of his shift and was tired. He started his shift at 4 pm and we came to eat at 6 pm. I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! After waiting nearly 30 minutes, we were told the coffee machine had broken. Unfortunately, by then the server seemed eager to wrap things up and didn't really give us the opportunity to consider any other after-meal options.
