The venue was perfect for our 75 guests and it was beautifully prepared by the staff. In planning the event, Adis was incredibly professional and gave us helpful advice to give the event the tasteful, refined and family-oriented vibe that we were aiming for. He even recommended a florist to do the flower decorations and she turned out to be excellent The day of the event the room was just as we had planned and the event was a delight. The food was absolutely delicious, and we received multiple comments from our guests about how beautiful the room was, how delicious the food tasted, and how wonderful the service was. All the staff had the same attitude that we found in Adis, paying attention to details and making all, guests and hosts, feel like family. We are sure this will not be the last family event that we will celebrate at Terrazza.

There is no parking lot, but street parking in this area isn't too bad. It is a take out place so the inside is set up like a deli. Everything in the case from brownies and cannolis to pasta salad and squid salad is homemade. They offer a large variety of sandwiches, pizza, and more, but I knew I had to get. Teflon Don because of how delicious it looked in the pictures on Yelp. The Teflon Don did NOT disappoint. I got a 12" grinder, and it was massive. It was stuffed with meat and satiated my sandwich craving. I also tried apricot nectar for the first time, and I'm hooked. The workers were also super sweet and even let my friend go into their kitchen and see the fresh sauce they had on the stove for his chicken parm! Great people.

We had the cheesy garlic bread and risotto balls, which were a good start to the night. Our entrees- the chicken parm and pasta alla vodka- were good as well, the alla vodka sauce was especially flavorful! We were also given warmed biscotti at the end of our dessert! The service at this place is also amazing, 10/10! Our server was very attentive and friendly, she was the best. The atmosphere was casual and light, not too loud, not too quiet. This was our first time in Rocky Hill and we will definitely be back!

Fried mozz... the flavor of the cheese was good but the pieces were over fried so it was kinda hard and tasted somewhat burnt 2. Risotto balls... those were great, just needed a lil more sauce. I would definitely order this again. 3. Spicy Calamari... There was an unpleasant odor as soon as they came out. Tasted the actual Calamari and it was delicious but the dish was ruined with all the crap that was added. The yucky slaw and the sauce/ drizzle were unnecessary and made the dish inedible. Wish they left it off or put it in the side so we could have enjoyed the Calamari itself. 4. Sweet Potato Ravioli... the actual ravioli was good. Loved the filling. But this dish was ruined by a flavorless sauce. It tasted like cream mixed with butter. That sauce should be left off. Im sure the server already knew we didnt really enjoy it bcuz he didnt even question why food was left and we didnt want to take any of it to go... Really planned to order more from the happy hour menu but after those last 2 disappointing apps, I changed my mind...

The calamari was super crispy and had a great sauce for dipping! My steak came out perfectly medium rare just how I like it and portions were huge! Only thing i would say is the charcuterie board was alright because the pickled veggies and olives were so salty in my opinion. But overall everything else was great! Espresso martini's were super strong and the assorted desserts hands down my fav part! i think my favorite would be the lemon dessert it was so light, I couldn't believe it was cheesecake. Of course, I had the gluten-free veggie pizza, and I added pineapple because I am a pineapple-on-pizza person. Sue me, I am an islander. Our neighbor raves about Mondo, so we thought it was high time we paid a visit…read more Mondo is fairly easy to find; our only error was accidentally pulling into the wrong parking lot. They do offer a free lot in the back, but judging by all the cars, Mondo is very popular on a Friday evening. Sure enough, there was a big line of people picking up orders, but we walked right in and were seated immediately. We started off with a beet salad, which was surprisingly delicious, combining candied walnuts and sweet orange and green apple slices with salty feta and tangy balsamic over a mountain of mixed greens. We then moved on to paninis, generous portions of meat and toppings on freshly baked, crispy bread. One of us chose more mixed greens tossed with dressing while the other chose crunchy French fries. We also ordered a third panini to go, the Mondo combo. We asked for fries; the kitchen accidentally gave us a salad. Our server, Heather N., saved the day by noticing the error and giving us both side orders. Mondo is family friendly, and there were plenty of children during our visit. As such, the volume was a tad loud and boisterous, but nothing obnoxious that would prevent us from returning.

As a pescatarian, I was pleasantly surprised to have a few appealing options to choose from. I ended up ordering the sole Florentino, which was lemony and delicious, served with a side of pasta. The fish was cooked perfectly, though the pasta could have used a little something extra to elevate it. My husband ordered the scallop and shrimp fra diavolo. He enjoyed it and it satisfied what he was looking for. I can't forget to mention the bread--it was a standout. A large, toasted, crusty loaf that was a treat all on its own. The only downside to our visit were awkward moments when someone we believe was a manager was on speakerphone, seemingly arguing with a staff member. It was a bit distracting and took away from the otherwise pleasant experience. Overall, it was a good experience with some highlights, and I'd be open to giving it another try. Pricing was what I expected, not too expensive and good portion size.
