iced Apple Pie Latte with oat milk

New favorite place to get a latte! The espresso is never bitter and the specials are always so yummy

Lots of syrup flavors which they can also make into cold foams (super cool!), baked goods and lunch options. Cozy inside, tasty latte. Will be returning!

Note: Small 6" plate with small croissant and a small sourdough bread sandwich .

The Bagel Factory has a long history of issues related to management, and Pigeon Bagels was relatively new when I moved here. I was struck by the quality of the kosher, hand-rolled bagels. Not needing to be toasted, best complemented with Redhawk drip coffee. Nestled next to a supplies studio off Hobart, Pigeon Bagels is there for you. Tasty bagel sandwiches and amazing Jewish pastries. Must get the Rugelach. My vegan wife agreed with me, and she loved her herb tofu schmear. You wait in a line and the inside is limited in space for customers, so most people wait outside. Not an issue. I love the store facade, very Wes Anderson-inspired. There's a cute mural as well. Pigeo Bagels- I missed you.

The bagel sandwiches were good; relatively standard for a bagel spot. The pizza bagel was pretty good and unique! It and the plain bagel had a nice slightly crunchy outside. The marble bagel was ok, like something you would get from a grocery store; it was too soft and chewy and had a weird glaze/crust when you bit into it. The service was ok but a bit slow (3.5/5); the line was about 10 people in front of us, and it took about 15-20 minutes.

Out here in the North Hills, we've been stuck with chain options -- so when Three Brothers Bagels came to Shaler, it really helped fill a void. This place is a great destination for all kinds of bagels, bagel sandwiches, baked goods AND really, really good soup. My personal favorite so far has been the potato leek soup with bagel croutons. It was so good that I'd love to see it become a menu staple rather than just a special. As for the bagels themselves, the selection strikes a nice balance of savory and sweet, and the spreads and fillings follow suit. What I especially love is that the sandwiches go beyond just breakfast -- there are creative, lunch-style options that set them apart. And yes, their bagels are chewy and might give your jaw a workout after a whole sandwich, but honestly... isn't that just what a bagel is? Tip: Make sure you get there early or plan to order ahead this place is SO popular and regularly sells out. I'm also looking forward to seeing their food truck out and about. Highly recommend for anyone in the North Hills looking for quality bagels, sandwhiches, soups and some genuinely great baked goods!
