    Appetizer Sampler
    Joy G.

Delicious food! We finished almost everything we ordered. Definitely get the appetizer sampler so you can try the four dips - my favorite was the baba ghannouj and the mujederra (which was some rice, lentils, and onion combo that I tried for the first time and loved). The pita bread was a little hard and stiff (tasted store-bought), not the fluffy variety that I'm partial to. We also got the chicken shish kebab, which was more than enough to split between two people. I would order another entree next time. The chicken was on the drier side, though grilled beautifully, and I wish they gave some more grilled veggies other than the three pieces of tomato, zucchini, and onion. The rice pilaf was delicious, I could've eaten more of that as a side. The service hit a bit of a bumpy patch at the beginning, when my cousin got there first and picked an indoor table. When I came in and asked for an outdoor table, the taller, younger guy seemed put off by the request. However, our waiter was an older gentleman who I think was the owner and was very sweet and came by often. Definitely a small business I'm coming back to.

Unpleasant, to say the least. The service was abrasive to the point of being impolite and came off as borderline aggressive. I felt like I was being nicer to the servers than they were to me. The ambiance was dark and outdated, and the food was uninspiring. I would not recommend bringing anyone here. Maybe if you need a quick, solitary bite to eat, but there are much better options in the area.

Fattouch salad with kafta kebab, harissa labany, hummus and pita.

Got takeout tonight, pictured are my fattouch salad with kafta kebab, with a little plate of labany (harissa style) and hummus (I had to put it on a plate so I didn't just eat the entire - very generous - container). Once again everything was delicious and fresh - the kafta kebab is next level. Very friendly staff when picking up too.

I took a team of colleagues here for a business dinner. They were 10 of us and we were seated in the front of the restaurant near the window. Service was very good, we ordered the sampler appetizer and the hummus was amazing! Actually, all of them were very good. The Pita was warm and fresh and the team cleaned up two orders.. and the best thing is it is the first time I have had babaghanouj and I loved it! I had the chicken kebab and substituted the rice for a side salad. It was a tremendous amount of food and there was no way I could finish it, so I took the rest back to my hotel to finish later. The wine was reasonably priced, everyone commented on the quality of their food and it was very personalized service. It felt like having dinner at grandmas house. The price was about $50 per person and we had a variety of entrées, so it fit within my property budget, which was a good thing! One thing to note, when you look at this restaurant on Google maps, there is a comment that it is cash only. They absolutely accepted my credit card, so the owner needs to get this fact repaired. Would definitely return here

Appetizer Sampler, Hoummus, Falafel, Mujadarra,Lentil Soup

Appetizers sampler - very tasty! A must-try! Falafel - very well fried! Crispy skin and a very good flavor inside! However, learnt that they don't serve falafel (or any type of) wrap at weekends, which is kinda lame. Mujadarra - I've never had this before but it tastes really good to me! A very hearty soup with lots of beans and grains and different spices. Truly comforting. (Ordered duplicates, it's included in the sampler!) Lentil soup - kinda similar to the Mujadarra but more veggie involved. Also wonderful! I'm no expert at Lebanese cuisine but everything I had here was pretty good. A little bit different from other Mediterranean restaurants. It's good but not amazing.

The food is pretty legit. Our friends recommend that we try Cafe Barada for lunch and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the falafel and I want to say that these were the best falafel I've ever tasted. They were fresh, crunchy and food of the right flavors. Service was good, establishment was busy but not crowded. The Barada salad with chicken was delicious as well. Everything on the menu looked appetizing, you can't go wrong with anything here. I would recommend this place to family and friends. You won't be let down!

The Family Platter #2 is also a fantastic option if you want to sample a bit of everything. Our favorites were the baba ghannouj, layered kibbee, and the super refreshing tabouli. We ended the meal with the Katayef Ashta, a pancake filled with sweet cream that reminded me of ricotta, and it was the perfect finish. We can't wait to come back!

Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. It's clearly a fine dining restaurant with reasonable prices. I am a fan of Lebanese food, but this place elevated the experience. The server mentioned that the lentil soup was amazing and he was correct. The soup was seasoned with rich vibrant Mediterranean spices. The grains in the soup added extra texture and elevated the humble soup. The kibbeh balls were fantastic. I have had kibbeh balls before, but these were the best: crispy on the outside and moist and perfectly seasoned ground meat on the inside. There were pine nuts and minced onions in the kibbeh that elevated the dish. Then came the kaftah kebabs with grilled vegetables. Those vegetables were grilled nicely. The ground beef and lamb kaftah kebabs were spectacular. So meaty! These kebabs didn't have fillers. They were beautifully seasoned, grilled nicely and moist on the inside. What a delight! I recommend this establishment.

Currently closed till 7/2024 according to Yelp…read more But late 2022, we finally got the chance to try Fairouz's $43 Mixed Grill Plate (chicken, beef, shrimp (4 count), lamb, kafta (ground beef and lamb), served with rice, salad (simply lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes, and two portions of oil based dressing), garlic dip & hummus dip), to go. Everything came well packed, with the salad in a large plastic clam shell, two little sauce containers of each dip, two ziplock baggies of pita triangles, napkins, plastic ware, all sitting on the aluminum foil covered tray of meat and rice. Since I had been enticed by Bea's photo of this dish, I was a little disappointed at the lack of grilled vegetables. But there was salad and upon reflection, the menu made no mention of such veggies, so perhaps there's been changes over time? The rice received props from this household, and wonder at how it was flavored. The meat, though medium to well done, was tender enough, and the lamb lacked that gaminess that the non-lamb-eater among us so dislikes. The kafta and shrimp were the most strongly seasoned proteins of the bunch, and the shrimp rather juicy. Both hummus and garlic dip were good, but the garlic is indeed strong with the latter, so spread with a light hand. You can always add more to taste after all. The worst that could be said was that I wished that there had been more tomatoes in the salad, and if only they had not split the pita triangles. Pitas without their pockets are rather tougher to enjoy as self made mini sandwich bundles of all the good flavors and textures. I hope they see this and reconsider.

You wouldn't think it by the name, but Martha's is a Lebanese restaurant with a great menu that won't overwhelm you. The owner and his staff are extremely friendly and overall just wonderful people. I went crazy and ordered the Steak Shawerma, 3 piece Falafel, baba ghanouj and hummus. The steak shawerma came with rice pilaf and a garden salad and was so good that I'll be going back to try their chicken one. The falafel was perfect. It wasn't oily and had just the right amount of flavoring and crunch. The baba ghanouj and hummus were to die for. I seriously had to keep myself from eating the entirety of the containers. They are currently remodeling the dining area so I can't comment on the ambience, but for what it's worth I like the quaint look of the place from the outside and the ease of ordering from the window.
