The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The service is good and the decor is interesting and creates a nice dining ambiance. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the table to the immediate left of the entryway corridor.
I recently enjoyed a fine meal here, but was given the table for 2 immediately to the left of the entryway corridor. On a busy night, you don't want this table. People waiting for tables were bunched into the corridor, practically leaning over my partner and I as we ate. A woman with a very large ass, who was about to be seated, inadvertently rested her nalga (Spanish for butt-cheek) on our table right next to my entree. Thank God she didn't fart. Her ass was in my space for ~ 30 seconds before I began to say something to her. As I did, she was led to her table and out of my space. As the people in the corridor inched forward, I then had the opportunity to listen to an idiotic conversation between tenured professors about pedagogy and faculty politics while a teenage kid in the waiting line was reading what looked like a textbook placed on the sides of the entryway corridor. This textbook was maybe 9 inches from my partner's face.
To summarize, the food is wonderful, the staff are very nice, prices are reasonable, and the table to the immediate left of the entryway corridor SUCKS. Don't take it. Idiots with no manners who are waiting for tables will ruin your dining experience. I mean it, if you have to choose between eating at that table or taking your meal to go and eating it on the bench at the bus stop down the block, opt for the latter b/c people at the bus stop will probably have greater respect for your privacy read more
