Fantastic service! Super friendly and greeting most people by name and providing recommendations and chatting with everyone. Also dog friendly which is fantastic! The breakfast sandwich was great and my chai was really really good. I'd definitely come back, especially as it is pup friendly and has great reading light.

There are so many indie cafes and coffeehouses in the greater Seattle area, no surprise it took me 20 years to checkout Cafe Argento on Capitol Hill. Open since 2004! I finally had a pleasant onsite visit on 2/19/24. Found nearby free street parking - a score while on Capitol Hill! Very welcoming barista who crafted one of the best mochas I've had in awhile. Adding to this fantastic visit was having a memorable chocolate chip cookie from the pastry case. I hung out awhile and took in the overall vibe. I liked the unique interior and variety of seating. Lots of details and fixtures that were eye catching. Decent music playing. The kindness and customer service I also observed from this barista assisting a blind customer - can we give this barista ten stars for going above and beyond? Definitely highly recommended! Just don't take 20 years to visit, lol.

Great warm and cozy little cafe with great coffee and a solid breakfast bagel! I got the turkey egg and cheese with hot sauce on the side and it was the perfect ratio of ingredients. They don't have cold brew which is my preferred coffee but they did make me an iced americano which was good enough for me. Everyone there was super nice too!

I was visiting some friends that live in Capitol Hill and was looking around on Yelp for a nice breakfast sandwich / bagel and coffee shop for breakfast after a night of drinking. I read the reviews and Cafe Argento looked promising. Sounded like they had popular breakfast bagels that everyone enjoyed along with their coffee. I was greeted by friendly workers and asked what the most popular bagel was and they said the breakfast with turkey and many people get it on a jalepeno cheddar bagel. I also got a latte with regular milk. They make the sandwiches fresh and you can see the smoke from the toasters, I had mine with hot sauce and it was so good. Lots of people were ordering bagel sandwiches to go too. Good flow of people, lots of people stayed to eat and chat and others just came and picked up. There's some street parking around, and air condition on a hot day!

    Best breakfast sandwich!

Best breakfast sandwich in Seattle! I got the turkey breakfast sandwich on sesame bagel and it was amazing! Looking back at photos, they forgot to add red peppers in my sandwich as stated on the menu, but I hardly noticed as I was enjoying it at the park next door. I wish they sold their homemade garlic olive oil because I would definitely buy it! Coffee was ok, but the star is the breakfast bagel sandwich!

The turkey bagel sandwich here is unreal. Comes out piping hot, cheesy and super delicious. The bagel is crispy but not burnt. Excellent service and cute interior with lots of character. The coffee could be better. It's not the best but decent. I got iced latte with oat milk. The coffee is a tiny bit sour. Yes I'll come back again and again for those legendary bagel sandwiches!

    Raspberry mocha (don't get!!)

Their coffee has sucked everytime I've gotten it (twice), so please get coffee elsewhere. HOWEVER, their breakfast sammy's (the bagel ones) are SO GOOD HOLY!!!! I've gotten the turkey and veggie ones and they are just truly amazing. Such a good price point compared to other places in Seattle. Ambiance is also SOO cute inside to do work or just read. Workers are also very nice

A hot chocolate that is actually hot! Bonus points for non-diary whipped cream.

I came here to spend a blissful hour alone on a rainy day. I was a bit peckish, so I got a samosa and a vegan hot chocolate. I like that I was able to get an eat-in mug, which makes for a nicer experience than a paper cup. Since I mention a particular temperature I want my drink, my hot chocolate came out actually hot, which was great. The samosa came with sriracha and olive oil with what I believe was garlic. It was two interesting choices for dipping the samosa, which made the overall experience much better than it would have been plain. The samosa was mildly flavored and much more bread-like than pastry-like. Overall it was just okay, but the portion size was generous and the ambiance was great. It is really cute inside which lovely light from the large windows. The toilets available to customers were clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient.

This is a quiet yet busy neighborhood cafe with a cute vibe. They have a small kitchen and crank out upleveled grocery style sandwiches (ie they stock store-bought bread, pastries, muffins, bagels and dress them up for your convenience :) The breakfast bagel sandwich was yummy. Eggs were soft and the zucchini inside was an interesting twist. I can see why this one would be popular if you live nearby and if you come here for food, you should get this. I would pass on the lunch turkey sandwich though. It was just ok. One small hiccup: they forgot to add turkey to our breakfast sandwich even after confirming the order three times, and saying turkey breakfast sandwich when calling our order. When we asked if the order was correct they microwaved a small plate of turkey for us to put into the sandwich ourselves. I would have expected them to take it into the kitchen and assemble it, at the least. I can slip turkey into my own sandwiches at home lol, but I'm paying for the convenience of not having to... overall a decent breakfast. A-OK!

    So cute

This was our first stop after a long flight. It didn't disappoint! Staff was very friendly and patient . I asked the barista what drink she recommended and it was so good. I believe I got an almond flavored oatmeal latte. The jalapeño bagels are so good. I also love the spooky decor display is such a vibe and a good stop for coffee/breakfast . Will definitely come back if I am in Seattle again. Thank you for taking care of us !

this sandwich was highly impressive as the main part of the…read moresandwich, it was pretty necessary that the pork be cooked to near-perfection, and i have to say it was here it gave off a deep, brown-ish color, which showed the extent of it's cooking and marination. It wasn't quite incredibly tender, but the marinade added an absolute ton of flavor. more importantly, it was present plentifully throughout the sandwich, so practically every bite came filled with pork I also have to mention how packed together the ingredients are between the buns. when you start eating, it's inevitable that a quarter of the ingredients will fall onto the wrap below, leaving a nice secondary meal to finish off after the sandwich is done. the sandwich is packed incredibly tight during the wrapping process, but it unravels a bit while eating. for me, the major highlights of this meal was the onions and the aioli Starting with the onions, these may be the best I've ever had on a sandwich. They're caramelized amazingly, placed onto the sandwich in astoundingly large pieces, are crunchy, and there's just a lot of them. They're just wonderful both texturally and taste-wise. This sandwich is absolutely lathered with aioli - practically dripping with it. This boosted the overall flavor so much, especially because this aioli was addictingly good. In my experience, the amount of sauce has been directly proportional to how much I enjoyed a sandwich, and when the sauce is this good - it's even on the top of the bun! - i absolutely loved it Somehow the lettuce stayed crunchy despite all the otherwise wetness going on in the sandwich. Props for that The jalapenos were great as well for that extra bit of spicy - I would've loved to have more of them while the bread was toasted well, the one downside was i thought it was pretty hard and tough, which made chewing kind of difficult. I found my jaw to be pretty tired at the end after eating this. I would've much preferred a softer roll that's easier to bite into I've had similar sandwiches from Paseo and Bongos, and in my opinion this does edge out both of those Comparing to Paseo, the sandwich there has way more oil, making it more sloppy and I do like the bread there a lot better, but the pork feels richer and better marinated here (although less fatty), and the onions are definitely caramelized better here as well. Bongos has a pretty similar level of pork with more, but onions are definitely a step down What moves this place above those two for me is the amount of aioli used here far exceeds those other places, which just makes the overall eating experience better For the price (about 14 dollars) this is a really filling meal

I have tried the nachos version of it before as well, and that's equally delicious. The key is definitely that succulent roasted pork.
