Loved Caf Bar! This spot probably wouldn't have been on my radar had I not received a gift card but now that I've tried it I'll definitely be back. The restaurant is much roomier then it looks from the outside with two indoor dining areas and an charming patio in the back. You order, pay and pick up at the counter. There was a nice selection of coffees, breakfast items and sandwiches, as well as wine and Mimosas. I ordered their grilled smoked ham, Swiss cheese and fig jam on sourdough bread, which came with chips or a side salad with balsamic vinaigrette (which I chose) or lemon tahini dressing. It was so delicious! The sandwich was large enough to bring half home. I also enjoyed a glass of J. Lohr Cabernet. My dining companion chose the avocado toast with a salmon add-on, which she loved, and a Mimosa. This dish didn't come with a side. My only very minor caveat was that our meals were served in take-out containers. The drink glasses and silverware were real, so it would have been nice to have a proper plate as well. The staff was genuinely friendly, service was fast and the food was terrific. Highly recommend.

Caf Bar is such a great cafe right on Main Street in Wakefield. The outside looks so inviting with its big windows, and the interior is super cozy and quaint. The cashiers and baristas have always been friendly on my visits, and I'm consistently impressive with their food and drink offerings. I also didn't realize that they have a pet friendly back patio, which we made use of on our last visit. If you're looking for a tasty and substantial breakfast sandwich, I highly recommend the Egg Melt here. I've gotten it a couple of times and it's delicious! The eggs are over hard, but the yolk is still a nice texture. The pesto and maple bacon aioli are both tasty options, the bread and nice and toasted, and the other fixings work together very well. All pf the lattes I've tried are really enjoyable as well! Their seasonal lattes are usually a hit for me, but I think all of the choices are strong. Overall, I love this little gem of a cafe and I highly recommend to anyone near and far!

Recently checked out the new location in Charlestown. Cozy ambience with plenty of comfortable seating. Friendly, prompt service. The mint matcha latte was perfection! The monkey bread with peanut butter and banana drizzled with honey was delicious.

Eclectic and charming place with a nice warm atmosphere, unfortunately this is the middle of winter, single pane glass windows is a factor, making it cold in there. Fine just eat with my coat on, not a problem, winter will be over sooner or later! A a nice little gas fireplace or gas stove in the corner would be awesome, sitting by the fire with my Hot chai tea and my delicious whipped ricotta blueberry yummy sandwich. I probably stay too long if that was. Ambience is special, would love to stay there for a lingering morning. PStaff is very accommodating. Blueberry cake was delicious. I took it to go couldn't resist. Can't wait to come back. Good job, I highly appreciate their creation and staff.

I recently was in the Wakefield/Matunuck Area this past Monday. It was around lunch time and was looking for a place that had protein shakes and coffee. I casually stumbled across Caf-Bar and I gotta tell you, it is 100% a hidden gem! It's placed in this adorable part of Wakefield, right on Main Street. It was by far the coolest, most beautiful, atmospheric cafe I've ever been to. The vibes were old farmhouse vibes with a modern twist. It was so cozy! Then not to mention the staff there were great along with the service too! Specifically regarding the staff, they were very nice and accommodating. I didn't see protein shakes on the menu so I asked if they had them when I got up to the counter and the person behind the counter mentioned they had smoothies and then mentioned that they have Whey Protein powder to add as an accessory. So I got the "Bees Knees" smoothie with Whey Protein powder added to it. It was delishhh!! I then got an iced pumpkin late with their house made pumpkin cold foam. Which first if all the coffee itself was incredible coffee and then the cold foam was excellent!! Also, something to note is that a lot of times, when getting an iced coffee at places, you have to ask to go light on the ice because they put too much a lot of the times. I forgot to ask to go light on the ice but I didn't even have to ask because the amount of ice in the coffee was more than ideal! Overall, I am 100% going to be back here and next time I'll get food there. I wish it was closer to me though because it is a bit of a drive... I highly highly recommend you check this place out if you're in Wakefield, and are looking for a quick, casual, atmospheric and tasty lunch/snack!

Caf bar has been a welcome small business coffee shop. The space is welcoming and community focused. We recently found a new favorite latte! They specialize in lattes with most syrups made in house. They had a special for macadamia raspberry latte. Well cutting out the raspberry gives a delicious macadamia nut latte that reminds us of the lattes we have gotten in Kauai.

I really enjoyed this cute Caf bar the service is five stars! Even when I didn't enjoy the smoothie I created (I put together something crazy) the gentleman was willing to spice it up for me. Friendly service, delicious iced mocha (tried mine raw with monk fruit.... yum! They also have sweetened iced mochas.) Amazing menu of healthy incredibly beautiful food options (the egg melt with cheddar on ciabatta with spinach with a fresh egg was buckle-your-knees great!) Brendan, Kylie and Liv made me feel so welcome as a first timer and let me try their dark roast Sumatra with honey as a coffee tasting.... you can tell they enjoy what they do and are passionate about coffee...what a wonderful surprise and I can't wait to come back! First time visiting and I always look up cool coffee shops in the area I'm in, and happy to stumble upon this one that had a little bit of everything. The Matcha shake and espresso banana avocado shakes were delicious. Made just right, and not sweet. Appreciate no up charge for non dairy subs. I'm not a big scone person, but the blueberry one was calling and man was it tasty. Not hard and crumbly like others can be, this had a bounty of blueberries and it was lightly sweet and moist. Seriously the best I've had. Hope to return soon to try their Cold Brew. Also the guy behind the counter, I think the owner (?) couldn't have been nicer and welcoming to a newcomer! read more

I love this place! I used to eat the Meet the Beets salad 3 times a week at work and everyone would always ask me where I got that beautiful salad and I would brag about this place as it was just down the road! We LOVE this place. They make the best espresso drinks and smoothies. The owner and staff are super friendly. It's a really great addition to Main Street. I love that they're open longer hours so I can get a late afternoon coffee here instead of Starbucks. They also have a rewards program that's great too. You can get to them via the bike path also which is a huge plus! read more

I love this place and I go there twice a week at least. They let me bring my dog inside which is handy because I stop by while walking her. The coffee is delicious and for some reason it makes me extra active even more than the competitors coffee (maybe that's just in my head.) This place is amazing, the staff are super friendly and accommodating. They even took into account the fact that gluten free bread is much smaller than normal bread and gave me additional pieces to compensate. Great avocado toast and coffee! Highly recommend. read more

So great!!! Fresh juices and smoothies made with real fruits & veggies, good coffee, espresso drinks, fresh food (including a great salad bar)...perfect brunch or lunch spot. You can walk there easily from the bike path and they have cute outdoor seating. Its clean and they are always professional and friendly. Definitely worth a stop! Tip your barista! They really are committed to doing things right and with good ingredients. read more

Im gonna rate this a 4 star since I haven't tried any of the food there. I have tried the rhodie coffee ( I think that's what its called) but it was really good and they have multiple options for non dairy which is great. When you see it outside it doesn't look too appealing, but inside its beautiful. They have great options for natural sweetners like agave and honey, and the staff is incredibly sweet and inviting. The first time I tried it was on a Tuesday, I played the raffle and won! I got a free drink of any kind which was an 8 dollar drink. I think like any local business they were a lil pricey, but totally worth it. I was also impressed that they carry gluten free products considering I have friends that eat gluten free so they were excited about that! I will deff go back read more

Terrific place. Top notch salads- a variety of beautiful dark greens and fresh ingedients. Fabulous coffee. And the brownies are brought in from a bakery (forget which one) but they are to die for. And after you eat a nice salad wrap for dinner, no one could ever fault you for the brownie. This is a special little place, super-laid back. Good books to read (take one, bring it or another back later- I just borrowed David Mitchell's The Bone Clocks). And the owner and his employees are very, very nice. Also I'd like to compliment him on offering metal straws ($2- use it and take it with you for your glove compartment). So glad to have this in Wakefield. We end up going at least once a week for dinner. - check it out! read more

I LOVE this place! We needed a high quality coffee shop around here. The espresso is the best I have tasted in Rhode Island. They get the beans from a local roaster in Pawtucket called down east. Everything is fresh and clean. The avocado toast is out of this world and made fresh to order. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is super friendly. hidden gem! such a cute place with eclectic and delicious menu of caffeinated bevs. healthy food + smoothies. quite fair prices especially considering the quality. the inside of the place is a bit small which I imagine will become an issue as it gets more popular but don't let that stop you from visiting. so happy I found this place. will be back often ! read more

Everything was so fresh and delicious. Our group had a latte, juice and avocado toast. All were amazing. The bread is to die for. Service was exactly what you hope in a small cafe. The "mimosa" juice or the wild berry hibiscus tea are must try's. read more

The staffs kindness and hospitality is just as nice as their drink and food menu. I'm a serious fan of this coffee shop I would say one of the best in Narragansett and the Kingston area as well as Wakefield. I've been living in this area since I was 12 and they really know how to make a good coffee. Definitely give them a try you'll be impressed to say the least. read more

We pride ourselves on our local Downeast fair trade organic coffee, roasted fresh every week in Pawtucket Rhode Island. Our baristas take pride in each cup they craft and take time to make sure your beverage is the best you’ve ever had. We serve clean wholesome food using fresh ingredients in everything from our salads/ wraps fresh fruit juices and smoothies and breakfast sandwiches made from scratch. We don’t use any microwaves!

Cold brew and Free Wifi... what more could a guy who needs to check their email need more. The point to be made here is that this is as local as it gets. They support the local grocer, they are dog friendly, and "coffee is better than starbucks." I wholeheartedly will endorse this start up. Love to see it. read more

One of the best coffee shops. We were on vacation in the area and stopped by here twice. The staff was friendly, and the Latte was awesome, especially considering that I am a picky coffee guy. I also enjoyed the pastries that I tried as well. This is a lowkey place off the beaten path but it sure is good! read more
