    Outdoor seating with iced coffee

Had a delicious seasonal (southern pecan) iced coffee (jumbo sized of course) with Oatmilk. It was delicious! There was also tons of baked goods and food options available. Service was quick and friendly, credit cards accepted and off street parking. Very modern and cute inside and always busy!

To start, we didn't know this, but apparently Jitters Cafe was voted #1 best coffee shop in South County, RI! And excellent way to be greeted when going to a cafe for the first time. This past Thursday, September 5th, me and my brother were on our way to the Umbrella Factory and on our way we were driving past this cute cafe that I've seen in the past but have yet to go there... until this past Tuesday. Jitter's Cafe is this adorable, tucked away cafe right outside of Wickford on the road to Route 1. When we got there we were immediately greeted by an incredibly cozy outside seating area and a lovely building on the outside. In the inside, it looks like a simple cafe. With a case of pastries and such and then a rack of bagels behind the counter with menu boards above the bagel rack. Here, they offer a small breakfast menu, a variety of sandwiches, pastries and baked goods, along with teas, coffee, refreshers etc...! Me and my brother got breakfast. I got a Salt bagel with egg, bacon, sausage and cheese (a lot of salt ) and my brother got a breakfast burrito. I also got a large house-blend coffee with oat milk. Which btw, the cup was so big I had to use two hands to hold it!! LOL! I also got a blueberry crumb cake, which was delicious and then my brother got a cinnamon roll as well. Which I tried and was delicious as well! The service here was very very good as well. The people working there were very accommodating and friendly. And the service, regarding speed of food being made was pretty quick too! We didn't have to wait too long. When we got our food, we went outside and sat ourselves at one of the many picnic tables outside. I highly recommend you check out Jitters Cafe if you're looking for a cozy, cute and casual cafe right outside of Wickford. You could even get sandwiches here to bring to the beach if you're going for the day! I will 100% go back and maybe I'll try one of their sandwiches next time.

Used to live down the street from here 20 years ago and visited almost daily. Today was my first time in since that time. My two pet peeves of coffee shops happen to be in this shop-Commercial Syrups for coffee flavors instead of homemade syrups or flavored brews for ice coffee and individually wrapped pastry items...They only had one flavor of brewed iced coffee. Sandwich was ok-the cheese was way too fake tasting for me. Staff were friendly but seemed that enjoying their own coffees took precedent over making customers....

While in town, I knew I had to stop for lunch at Jitter's because I love their sandwiches. I got the bacon chicken salad sandwich on gluten free bread and a medium iced coffee with vanilla flavoring. The sandwich was delicious and I didn't have to wait long for it. They have great outdoor seating outside at picnic tables, perfect for family or friends. I also love how many gluten free options Jitter's has and their staff is always so friendly!

Stopped here on my way back from Newport and I was looking for a breakfast sandwich. I walked up to the door to the restaurant by mistake and they very kindly directed me around the corner to a white tent. Entering there I could order while being protected from the rain and pay right at the window. Then I waited for my order to be ready safely and comfortably under the tent. Other customers were there waiting as well and everyone was wearing a mask and socially distancing so I felt pretty comfortable. I noticed that the restaurant was really pretty and beautifully decorated with flowers. I waited about five minutes for my egg and cheese wrap. I also got an iced decaf with oat milk that was very good. The service was good and the food was good. There's not much to say about an egg and cheese wrap except that it was served me hot and fresh and I enjoyed it. It was very pleasant experience and I will definitely go back again.

Such a cute coffee! Stopped by here on a Sunday morning and ordered online--it was such a breeze. The order was ready in minutes and staff was so kind and attentive. I ordered the hazelnut coffee and cheddar bagel with garlic herb cream cheese. It was all delicious! Definitely will be stopping by again next time I'm in the area.

I did a Google search and saw that The Coffee Guy was close to me and that they had a variety of beans that they roast in house. I stopped in to the shop and walked up to their display of bags of coffee beans. The owner introduced himself as well as the staff. They were all very friendly and knowlegable. I made my selection and brought it to the counter to purchase. They also serve coffee and pastry but this trip I just wanted the beans. They offered to grind them to whatever courseness I wanted, but I prefer to grind them at home. A pound of coffee averages $20 and they have a frequent buyer program (when you reach purchases of $100, you get a $5 credit. This is tracked so your purchases accumulate). They also deliver to the area on Wednesday's if you order online by their Tuesday Night deadline. I have tried this and my coffee was on my doorstep before 9 that Wednesday. Very convenient. Lastly, the store is not that big with not much room for sitting (I honestly can't remember if they had seating.) However, if you are looking to source your beans or grab a cup of coffee on the go, this is a great option.

My first impression of the room hit me through its espresso scent that filled the entire space. The modern design of the space creates an environment that supports both focused work and relaxed socializing through its streamlined design. The shop maintained a peaceful atmosphere because I was the only customer present which enabled me to study the surroundings at my own pace. The space appeared to be perfectly clean because a staff member was busy cleaning the floor which showed that the establishment maintained cleanliness as a fundamental requirement. The shop maintained a quiet atmosphere which only included the soft sounds of the espresso machine and its periodic loud noises. The staff members delivered fast service while maintaining a friendly attitude. The staff members welcomed me as soon as I entered the building and they explained all menu options to me because I did not know what to order yet they did not attempt to persuade me to choose any specific item. The staff members allowed me to create my own drink which I found to be a useful feature. The staff members permitted me to create my own drink because I needed to follow my specific requirements. I chose to order a large iced mocha latte with an extra espresso shot. The staff members finished my order within three minutes which they executed successfully because most businesses find it difficult to create this level of operational efficiency. The espresso shot produced a rich chocolate flavor which tasted smooth and fresh without any harsh notes. The drink maintained an equal distribution of coffee and chocolate flavors because neither ingredient overpowered the other.

I am so glad we did, because this is definitely a new favorite spot and worth the drive over the bridges! It was a rainy afternoon, and my grandma and I rolled into their ample parking lot to get some coffee and a midafternoon snack. The shop is sparkling clean with plenty of seating at cafe tables and a cozy couch section. The clientele was a mixture of students from URI and professionals working remotely. All were sipping lattes and seemed happy - a good vibe right from the get go. The barista was upbeat and knowledgeable about the menu, recommending their house made Pumpkin Spice Latte (I had to try it!). I am so glad I did, because theirs is made with pumpkin puree, so it's not sugary or cloying like other varietals you may be familiar with. We were also informed that all their baked goods are made fresh daily, and I was pleased to see the pastry case was clean as well (this is a less common occurrence unfortunately, than you would think). We tried the Blueberry Muffin, and it was FABULOUS! I am already looking forward to going back and trying more. Don't be fooled by the humble roadside plaza exterior- Fuel is certainly worth the stop.
