What a find!!! Ty Yelp when I plugged in cafe near me up popped this gem. The iced coffee was flavorful soooo good and so many choices it wasn't easy to chose. Glad I went with snickerdoodle though. Loved the blueberry cake but warming it is served really cold-would have loved it warmed with butter. Still it was moist and loaded with blueberries. Yummy. The Thanksgiving sandwich was true perfection.....it was all about the stuffing. Lovely spices truly divine! Panini pressed and the bread was firm but easy to bite into/chew. Friendly service, delicious coffee that surpassed my expectations. They have lots of pastries and the one I had was a blueberry crumb cake and it was good but cold and when I let it warm up a little, it was better. To start, we didn't know this, but apparently Jitters Cafe was voted #1 best coffee shop in South County, RI! And excellent way to be greeted when going to a cafe for the first time. This past Thursday, September 5th, me and my brother were on our way to the Umbrella Factory and on our way we were driving past this cute cafe that I've seen in the past but have yet to go there... until this past Tuesday. Jitter's Cafe is this adorable, tucked away cafe right outside of Wickford on the road to Route 1. When we got there we were immediately greeted by an incredibly cozy outside seating area and a lovely building on the outside. In the inside, it looks like a simple cafe. With a case of pastries and such and then a rack of bagels behind the counter with menu boards above the bagel rack. Here, they offer a small breakfast menu, a variety of sandwiches, pastries and baked goods, along with teas, coffee, refreshers etc...! Me and my brother got breakfast. I got a Salt bagel with egg, bacon, sausage and cheese (a lot of salt ) and my brother got a breakfast burrito. I also got a large house-blend coffee with oat milk. Which btw, the cup was so big I had to use two hands to hold it!! LOL! I also got a blueberry crumb cake, which was delicious and then my brother got a cinnamon roll as well. Which I tried and was delicious as well! The service here was very very good as well. The people working there were very accommodating and friendly. And the service, regarding speed of food being made was pretty quick too! We didn't have to wait too long. When we got our food, we went outside and sat ourselves at one of the many picnic tables outside. I highly recommend you check out Jitters Cafe if you're looking for a cozy, cute and casual cafe right outside of Wickford. You could even get sandwiches here to bring to the beach if you're going for the day! I will 100% go back and maybe I'll try one of their sandwiches next time. read more

Used to live down the street from here 20 years ago and visited almost daily. Today was my first time in since that time. My two pet peeves of coffee shops happen to be in this shop-Commercial Syrups for coffee flavors instead of homemade syrups or flavored brews for ice coffee and individually wrapped pastry items...They only had one flavor of brewed iced coffee. Sandwich was ok-the cheese was way too fake tasting for me. Staff were friendly but seemed that enjoying their own coffees took precedent over making customers.... read more

Stopped here on my way back from Newport and I was looking for a breakfast sandwich. I walked up to the door to the restaurant by mistake and they very kindly directed me around the corner to a white tent. Entering there I could order while being protected from the rain and pay right at the window. Then I waited for my order to be ready safely and comfortably under the tent. Other customers were there waiting as well and everyone was wearing a mask and socially distancing so I felt pretty comfortable. I noticed that the restaurant was really pretty and beautifully decorated with flowers. I waited about five minutes for my egg and cheese wrap. I also got an iced decaf with oat milk that was very good. The service was good and the food was good. There's not much to say about an egg and cheese wrap except that it was served me hot and fresh and I enjoyed it. It was very pleasant experience and I will definitely go back again. read more

I drive by here all the time so I decided to stop on by and grab a quick cup of coffee. This cute little roadside coffee shop is located in North Kingstown, RI right off of North Tower Rd. They have plenty of parking out front and have designated spots for those who would prefer to pull up for curbside pickup. I must say that I was only stopping by to check the place out and grab a cup of coffee so my review is solely based on first impressions, and with that, I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the menu here. From drip coffee to lattes, muffins to bagels, salads to sandwiches - they have it all. I got a regular drip coffee and it was very good. I'm giving Jitters a 5 star because I am never not craving them. Their coffee is freshly brewed and they do not use sugar flavor shots. Such a good cup of coffee! I usually get the iced snickerdoodle light with almond milk and one stevia. They always get the "light with almond milk" at a perfect amount. Pictured below is my all time favorite wrap - the Hawaiian Tuna Melt on a wheat wrap (regularly comes on white). The tuna has crunchy pieces of celery in it which is delicious if that's your kind of deal, sweet pineapple, Swiss cheese and crispy bacon - real bacon! I like mine hot because they press it like a panini. If tuna wasn't something we shouldn't eat everyday I would not be opposed to eating this daily! Their bagels and cream cheese are also absolutely delicious - with a variety of cream cheese options. I always get sad when they run out of everything bagels. Jitters is a very small space so you can guarantee you will wait in line for a bit especially in the summer - but it goes quickly! If you go right before they close and right when they open you have a good chance you'll be in and out quickly. read more

Inside was sausage, egg and cheese, but the outside was toasted to perfection and made a nice, chewy shell. So, if you're in the area skip what you know (Dunk's) and order here. Watered down coffee I know how we all feel when we're looking forward to buying our morning coffee to start the day, only to be disappointed with it not meeting our expectations. I was visiting Rhode Island and wanted to stop and try a local coffee shop. When we got there, it was clear that the people working we're more concerned with this side conversations, than attending us. We had to wait to put in our order because the person at the counter was too occupied in a conversation. After I ordered my drink, I was waiting for 15 minutes, only to realize that our drinks were on the counter. The people making our drinks we're having a conversation and never called us up. To make matters worse, it was clear that they did not put any espresso in my latte. It tasted more like milk. It's safe to say I will not be going back here and I would definitely not recommend this coffee shop on your trip to Rhode Island. read more

Visited jitters for the first time this weekend and I don't have anything negative to say! I felt like they had a very efficient and covid friendly ordering system. Stopped here before heading to the beach and really enjoyed the hot chai and gluten-free breakfast wrap I ordered! I got the egg, cheese, and bacon GF wrap with tomatoes, onions, peppers, and hot sauce (definitely recommend those small add-ons). I placed my order online and scheduled a pick up time which was really convenient (hot tip: you can skip the line -- though it does move fast! -- and enter the building on the left to go to the pick up counter right away). I was very excited to find another choice besides the Dunks down the street (always a nightmare because the drive through line is absurd and they can't get enough workers to keep the dining room open) and Starbucks.. well yuck. Gave it two try's s and the second was my last. I gave myself plenty of time and with only one person in front of me I thought I'd be all set. There is nothing I find more irritating then when the person at the window disregards the line of customers and has playful small talk for too long with some clearly favored regulars. Flirt and play order guessing games on your own time. No coffee for me that day and that does not make for a good day. Ha. PS. Great local place where they know almost all of their customers and quickly get to know the ones they don't. During the pandemic they quickly adapted their crowded inside service to well covered outdoor windows or a deliver right to your car, call ahead option. A cute little place with amazing bagels and good coffee. I discovered this place while running some errands in South County and I'm glad I didn't miss it! I was in need of a quick meal and coffee, and this really hit the spot. The place is really tiny, so it does get packed easily. But be patient; it's worth it. I watched a couple of people open the door and then turn around and walk out. Seriously? You can't wait 5 minutes for your coffee? Obviously it's gotta be good if there's so many people here! Have patience! So I waited, and it was definitely worth the wait. Large cappuccino = $3 and change. Where else can you find prices like that? And it was damn tasty. I also got their soup of the day, which was kale and sausage, and a bagel for dipping. The soup was good, but the bagel was amazing. It was warm, soft, doughy and fresh. If they weren't running low (it was noontime-ish) I probably would have brought home a 1/2 dozen. In addition to the bagels, they have a case full of pastry and calzones, as well as a menu of sandwiches and soups. They also have gluten-free selections that are kept away from the other goodies and are clearly labeled. This is definitely a URI hotspot and rightfully so. Snagging a table may pose a challenge if it's busy, but I was able to grab a seat within a few minutes. All of the girls working were really nice and worked quickly. Zero complaints all around! A tiny little cafe that offers good types of coffee, baked goods and sandwiches. I usually go for an ice chai, they carry sugar free and almond milk. The roast beef sandwich with jalapeño cream cheese is jammin! And the magic barssssss, yum yum yum. They carry a good offering of gluten free items and you can get a gluten free sandwich as well. The pricing is average for an off beat coffee shop but still a lot more compared to your DUNKIN donuts or franchise coffee joint. They have a pretty big parking lot that is always full and an outdoor seating earlier with patio lighting. read more

Jitters coffee is the best anywhere. I moved to Providence and I am making special trips to North Kingstown to buy their house blend by the pound. Maybe a connoisseur of exotic coffees will know better, but as an average Joe who enjoys coffee not too bitter and good tasting, Jitters is the best. Oh...one more thing. I carry around a Jitters travel mug everywhere I go. I know they get it from a manufacturer who sells them to dozens of locations, but the Jitters mug is the perfect companion to their great coffee. I lose everything, but I just got back from 2 weeks in Sweden without losing my Jitter mug because after my passport, phone, glasses and wallet, it's what I least want to lose. read more

They have a great refill program if you bring your own coffee cup and the chicken salad wrap was quite a generous portion, honestly probably enough for both my wife and myself. I'm still enamored with the standard ice coffee flavors here, which seem to have a great balance of coffee flavor but also the hazelnut or French vanilla that makes these drinks such a treat. Jitters is NOT handicap assessable for anyone in a wheelchair and made it really hard for me to take a look at their menu and enjoy my visit while half of my handicap party was left in the parking lot. Been a go to for me for years being one of the few coffee places of its kind in north Kingstown, but the quality has been very hit or miss, today I got two coffees and a pastry (which was still frozen in the middle) while the coffee were made poorly, upon requesting a remake I was informed it was my own fault the coffee came out the way it was because of how I ordered it. The place was packed with what appeared to be high school kids... it was loud. Louder then I preferred to sit in, so I took my sandwich in the car. The inside is small with little notes seating... but there is picnic tables outside. I had a sausage, egg and cheese. It was ok... I wasn't blown away by the quality or the taste. But it wasn't bad. Good place for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. But don't order lunch. Lunch sandwich order was wrong, sandwich wasn't cut in half, and it was messy to eat. Besides the poor quality of sandwich, it took along to for the order to come. When I asked why I was told sandwiches take extra time , which confused me as how much more time then a breakfast sandwich should it take as I watched them fill the orders that came in after mine first.
