Spinach and feta quiche, and a København latte.
Gabriele E.

What a cute spot! It is my first time here, and it did not disappoint. I got the København latte and it was so delicious. The cardamom and other flavors were so warm. The spinach and feta quiche was also delicious. My only two small gripes is that the entrance isn't very clearly marked and I had also purchased a croissant and didn't have it warmed up immediately. I had asked to have it warmed up after it was bagged and I sat down and they said they could not heat it up after you take it from them in a bag. Just forewarning others!

Love everything about this cafe. The ambience, the lattes, the pastry, and the nice baristas! There's WiFi and lots of cozy seating. Good place to come read a book, do a little work. They play soft indie type music and if there are people socializing, you can't escape the noise. Be forewarned!

The food was really underwhelming for the price and honestly left me disappointed. Everything tasted pretty bland and lacked any real character, which made it feel not worth the cost. The interior is quite small, but I can see how it might be a cozy spot to sit and work for a while. Service was nothing special, just average overall.

I work close by and had never tried Café Hagen so figured, why not? Around 10 am on a Friday it was a bit crowded, and the ordering area is a bit crammed, but everything here looked delicious. I opted for a small matcha and a churro cruffin. While waiting for my drink I took the cruffin and sat in the back to get out of the way of the other people, and my drink was done quite quickly! Also the overall space is very nice, seems like a great place to work or just chat. I'll definitely be back to try more of their things!

Great coffee, very friendly service, just wish they had online ordering options. Pastries are delicious! It's not that big inside so can't fit a lot of people if you're looking to sit and chill for a bit

Pumpkin Pecan Latte and Cinnamon Ember Latte

this was our favorite seattle coffee shop! a must try!!! we stumbled upon this coffee shop on the first day of our visit here and wow, it was amazing!! the gals working were so nice and helpful! we ordered the pumpkin pecan latte and the cinnamon ember latte with almond milk (both seasonal drinks)! both were delicious!! we got them iced as it was a nice sunny day. we loved this place so much though that we came back another day and got the same drinks but hot! equally as delicious!! this place is so cute and they have some seating available. highly recommend this place and we will absolutely be back when in seattle again! thank you!

Best Latte I Have Ever Had. Period. Wow. Popped into this place cause it sounded different. Totally impressed. Great ambiance, friendly staff, cool menu options. It's not huge but has small tables and a large communal table as well - very Nordic / Euro which is exactly the vibe they wanted. My Kopennhagen Latte was delish as mentioned with almond and cardamom notes that were perfection.. Added the Nordic Smoked Cheese toast which was super tasty - be warned, the bread is thick and toasted but the smoky cheese and tomatoes are chilled - but overall a solid and different breakfast choice. Customers were all chill and I really liked it. My only regret is that I didn't get a 20oz Latte but I will be returning...you should too!

I found out about this little coffee shop, thanks to Yelp reviews. It has a great rating and lived up to it. Great coffee and a really nice vibe. It might not be a great choice if you are in a hurry; because they take time to make your drink right (not like some mass market places), but it is certainly worth the wait.

Cap breve and almond croissant
Asher J.

Omg I love every cafe hagen location! The pastries and cappuccino breves are on point in each location!!! Great minimalist atmosphere, the only negative is the plastic plants- they should use real plants- and avoid pumping the atmosphere with microplastics, and make it a genuinely healthy ambiance because it feels that way otherwise. Love their pear cream brûlée danish and their beet hummus toast and umm their almond croissant. Most importantly their roast for their espresso and their cap breve is on point. They do not ask for size when I order one, which is how you know they know what they are doing. Places that ask me the size of a Cortado, macchiato or cap breve are spots I Irish exit. Lastly service is prompt and cordial. Kinda feels like being in Europe to be honest. I miss this vibe so it's nice to have it in the US for those of us who have lived and loved in other parts of this beautiful world!

Scandinavian coffee and breakfast sandwich.
Raul O.

Tried calling but they don't have a phone. Also, they are a cashless operation. That being said, they have a great variety of coffees. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and a Scandinavian coffee. The coffee was a real treat and the sandwich was delish. Bacon was prepared perfectly, not too crisp. Bun is topped with sesame seeds. Price was $22.

Red beet & avocado toast and Seattle fog
Krystyn R.

I love the cozy oasis vibe of these cafes. It's the perfect escape from the wintery gloom outside. This location is probably the coziest that I've been to and you can tell that they have quite a few regulars. The staff seem to know their regular customers well, which I love to see. I got the red beet & avocado toast and the Seattle Fog. Both were incredibly tasty. A bit pricey, but tasty. The toast was relatively substantial. I appreciated that they didn't skimp on the toppings and that everything tasted fresh. And I LOVED the Seattle Fog. It's my new go-to. I can't remember what makes it different from a London Fog but whatever it is - they did their thing!

Cortado with sparkling back and single origin beans

Atmosphere: really cute café that just opened up down the street so I'm grateful for that. They have many other locations and I'm glad this one is now closer to me. It's quite small but cozy. It's a cute place to grab coffee with a friend. Food: my favorite is still their almond croissants, which I always get. It's filled with almond goodness and has a really great crusty exterior but soft layers inside. I've also gotten a couple of their pastries, such as their pear pastry and the churro croissant mix with a custard filled center. Everything I've gotten here is yummy. Do note that it is quite pricey, For example, a croissant is about seven dollars . Also, they get these baked goods from their other locations, so whatever is here is here and when they are sold out, they do not replace it. If you want almond croissants, you have to make sure you come early because they will definitely sell out.

The grilled cheese was made to perfection the bread was fresh, thick, and delicious, and it was packed with cheese! The tomato soup was also delicious with a unique flavor. My only (very minor) complaint is that it was served in a cup, which made it hard to dip the grilled cheese. A bowl would've been much better for dipping! Overall, this café was a quiet, cozy spot with pleasant employees. I'd definitely visit again.

Because you never turn away a delicious PNW Salmon dish. The place is cute, mainly wooden, lots of plants inside (my allergies were killing me here hehe). Plenty of sitting areas and window views too. I got lucky to seat by a window to just enjoy the rainy view. Their Salmon toast was delicious! I asked for the cream cheese on the side because I cant have lactose but I still wanted to try their dish with all ingredients. So I dipped the slices a few times to try it all and omg its so perfectly paired. I totally recommend it! The coffee was ok. I had their gingersnap latte seasonal drink. I asked with only 1 pump of sweet and alternative milk. I was not impressed. I prefer black coffee haha but if you enjoy sweet drinks you may enjoy this one. I still finished it, so it wasn't terrible just not something I'd order again. Also, Idk why my coffee was served on a to-go cup. Maybe that took some of the joy of it? Overall, I recommend the this spot. Staff was friendly. The menu is vast. Sitting arrangements are great and cozy. Within walking distance from the convention center and a couple of the hotels in the area.

They sell themselves around being a holiday themed shop which isn't a bad thing, but when it's not the holiday season, the charm feels almost mismatched. All that to say, I love the idea, the space, and the vibes here but have often looked past it because of my perception with the branding. However, I will say their menu is great and the holiday joy is more of a supplement rather than a cover up or gimmick. I would comfortably visit Jollidaze for their drinks and get a working session. Wifi available, washroom (restrooms) available, and outlets available. Ube Phe Latte - rich, creamy, ube foam on top of a strong ca phe! There's also some ube milk, so a three layered drink. Both parts of ube were nutty, sweet, and paired with the ca phe amazingly. Strong Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk always hits but the ube mixture is a cherry on top. Up there with the other ube coffees around. Strawberry Matcha - honestly a simple no frills strawberry matcha. Smoothly whisked matcha, lightly sweetened strawberry puree, and a cup to be mixed in. Maybe more jam than other spots, which can help sweeten the drink and add some texture (chewiness), so might have to say above average.

As we entered, my daughters were excitedly yelling "Grinch." Throughout my order, the employee maintained a visibly displeased demeanor. Once I had paid, she rudely stated that "they need to keep it down because people are working." If a business does not welcome excited children, perhaps it is better suited as an adult-only space. When a child is not causing harm to themselves or others, there is no reason to ask them to be silent. We tried the latte flight, which comes with four adventurous, creative flavors--including a miso latte! Overall, they were a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but very fun to try. The pour-over, however, was phenomenal: deep, rich, and full of berry notes. For food, we had: * Almond Croissant: Perfectly crispy on the outside. I loved that the filling was distributed all the way to the edges, so you get some in every single bite. * Chicken Avocado Salad: A wonderfully light meal featuring grilled chicken breast and a light dressing.

As soon as I walked in, I noticed the selection of pastries, hot brunch items, and coffee drinks. The coffee tasting menu looked enticing. If I had more time to leisurely work or talk with company here, I would have opted to go this more adventurous route. However, I did end up trying one of their seasonal menu items - the Sakura Blossom Cloud Latte. I customized this drink with oat milk, even though the foam has to stay as dairy. The oat milk added a nutty creaminess that I particularly enjoyed. There were notes of the sweet Sakura syrup with a slight saltiness from the cream foam that gives the drink its perfect balance. It was a refreshing drink for a pick-me-up and they only had it for a limited time! My only thing is that I felt some coffee beans at the bottom that may not have been grinded as finely but other than that, the drink was amazing and I would recommend as a good backdrop for a spring walk!
