I love the IKEA Restaurant. It has great, yummy & affordable food. Lots of seating & has a good vibe. I've been during dinner but this time I went for breakfast. They have the small breakfast for $2.99 and the medium breakfast for $5.99, which I got. Very tasty Swedish breakfast food.

If you're hungry while shopping at IKEA, drop by their food cafeteria! Although it's not the highest quality food, the pricing and portion is fair and it gets the job done. I had their Mac & cheese and it was okay. Not too much flavor and a bit too mushy for me. I also had their strawberry soft serve on the first floor and it was good. It tasted a lot like strawberry and not too artificial. There's a lot of options from their cafeteria and they look decently good. The cafeteria is pretty big. Lots of seating and they have a huge window that has a decent view of the sky which I liked. The food is self served after choosing your meal, but the staff has been nice with helping me out.

The Swedish Restaurant saves you from being overwhelmed at IKEA. It's a vital reset from all of the clever products and charming furniture sets that make IKEA famous. Go through the cafe line and select from a delightful array of meats, veggies, soup and desserts. The prices make your meal quite accessible. Nooks and crannies around a large space are awaiting you to bring your bounty with comfortable seating, grand windows and WiFi. I was particularly pleased to see so many options for vegetarians. The staff are ready to answer your questions about each item on the menu. Once you are refreshed you can climb back into the maze of all of those creative "nick nacks" that are sure to enrich your home and workspace.

This was fairly disappointing. Firstly it is incredibly slow moving even with both sides of the restaurant open. The bottled drinks weren't stocked very well and there was a quite limited selecting. The first side I waited maybe ten minutes and saw the cold areas sparsely stocked with anything. Wanting for desserts I had opted to get out of line and start over by making my way to the opposite line. Service wasn't all that friendly and they also seemed understaffed for dinner time. As far as food goes the meatballs were great and so were the vegetable balls. The medallions were lovely and truly my favorite way to eat vegetables. The mashed potatoes were dull and tasted like exactly mashed potatoes and nothing more. Finally the drink machine was broken and the syrup was off leaving a cola as just carbonated water on both sides and ice working on only one machine. This IKEA restaurant needs some work.

Funny that this was my first time ever visiting an IKEA. I lived in Kansas City and never visited that one. I lived in Las Vegas a couple blocks away from that IKEA, and never stepped foot inside that one. I had a friend tell me that they purchased a bedroom furniture set from an IKEA and had to assemble the products themselves. I don't have time nor patience for that. So, the Renton, Washington IKEA was my first ever visit and I must say, I was impressed. I spent about 5 hours looking at everything. I even ate in their restaurant on the upper floor. I did leave with a few purchases and a head full of future ideas. I was super impressed with "how they thought of everything " mentality. Even in the restaurant, for example, they have tray carts that hold 3 trays. Perfect for families to use to navigate cafeteria style food easier from selection to table. Or the As Is section, right near the customer service and check out registers. It's the first day of the New Year and I'm already embarking on organizing the house and repotting new Aloe Vera and Peace Lilly plants I purchased from my IKEA visit. Thank you IKEA! I now know not everything requires assembly. And even if it does, I can pay a little extra to have someone else do that for me. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Great value for pretty solid food! The line was really long but still worth it. Pro tip: if you order the meatballs you can ask to swap the sides for anything other option. In my opinion the mashed potatoes were bland but had good texture.

Good furniture is not the only thing which IKEA offers. Their food is quite delicious. The chicken tenders are good. Try their garlic bread as well. Worth mentioning is the chocolate cake. It was so sumptuous and surprisingly was low on calories. Their USP are those lip-smacking hot dogs. I never thought I would say this but their veg dog is actually better than the hot dog. Do try the vanilla swirl as well. The only drawback is that there are very few vegan options. But that is true in general everywhere in the USA. Who cares..We eat meat :) IKEA shopping spree is always incomplete without having food here.

Came for a quick meatball lunch. The food is good and the meatballs meals are $1 off on Thursdays. You can get 8, 12 or 16 meatballs with your meal and it comes with a scoop of mashed potatoes and green peas. Gravy and lingonberry sauce come on the meatballs. Worth a stop if you are shopping

We came here over the weekend. The line ended near the cash registers. The line was slow moving. I like the pictures/menu on the monitors. From that, I knew right away what I wanted - the Stockholm salad. Ordered so much food cuz the portions are a bit small. The kids meal is 2.50! Spent $70 for 6 dishes, 1 kids meal, a side. It's so bright and airy there! Lots of seats at that time. Don't forget to bus your own table! Kids like to pitch in and help with that. Saved me a few bucks by not having to tip. Parking was easy. Going through the Ikea maze may take hours so having a place to eat is a great idea!

Swedish meatballs, Vegetable balls and Harvest salad.

I came to Ikea and shopping for countertop materials and chairs at night. After that stopped by Ikea cafeteria to eat some food with my hubby. We came at night so some of them were sold out, but we chose Harvest salad, Swedish meatballs and vegetable balls. It reminds me of a school cafeteria. The service was so slow and grumpy granny there caused a long line behind, lol. As for the impression of food, salad is ok but not other meals. 3 meals for $20 are not bad but better to eat delicious food.

I remember the meatballs being better. On a Saturday late afternoon the line was still long to get the famous Swedish meatballs, but it's already a trek to make it to IKEA, so why not? Located on the second floor where the showroom is, the IKEA Restaurant was pretty spacious and open, as it's a cafeteria style concept where you wait in line to get your food and then pick an open seat, tray in hand. There were two lines to get food, which was a little confusing at first, we had to ask people what the other line was for. The menu had a handful of items, including the Swedish meatballs, which is what most people come here for. The meatballs dish came with mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli and lingonberry sauce on the side. It was about seven bucks for the meal. Additionally, there were other items in the fridge that did not look appealing at all, like the salad with smoked salmon. It looked like it was sitting in there all day. Swedish meatballs weren't bad. The gravy and mashed potatoes were more watery than I expected, which was disappointing since I like a thicker texture. The steamed broccoli was also meh, as it tasted like it had been under the heat lamp for awhile. Next time I'd ask if I could have green beans instead. The lingonberry sauce on the side for the meatballs was a nice contrast. But overall, I got my Swedish meatballs fix and if the line is shorter next time, I'd get it again.

They offer a few Vietnamese coffee drinks if you're looking for that extra buzz. Three of us visited for an afternoon pick-me-up around 2:00P on a Saturday. The cafe has a minimalist aesthetic and large mirrors along one wall helped open up the space. It was nice and clean, plus plenty of seating makes it a great spot for working or just hanging out. The employee at the front was so kind and graciously helped us with some questions we had about the drinks regarding sweetness and flavor profiles. Honestly, the entire matcha selection looked good to me... I'm sure I would have been happy with any drink even if I picked one randomly! All matcha drinks are crafted with oat milk by default but you can substitute for almond or whole milk at no extra cost. Additionally, any drink can be made hot. While we ordered, it seemed like the barista was already getting a start on our drinks, so our three matchas were all whisked and poured within less than five minutes of paying. Super quick! + MATCHA EINSPANNER ($9): This was my first time trying Einspanner... finally! The creamy top was rich, milky and had just the right amount of sweetness, complementing the matcha latte as I took each sip. The matcha itself was very smooth and mild which was not surprising as they use Uji ceremonial grade. It was a lovely deep green color and I actually felt the hit of caffeine after drinking it, so they must have been generous with their scoops! The drink contained more ice than I would have liked, but I decided not to mess with the proportions, besides opting for 50% sweet, which was perfect. My companions enjoyed the MATCHA MATCHA (matcha latte + matcha cream) and the PANDAN MATCHA (matcha latte + pandan cream). Pandan gave it a wonderful coconut and vanilla essence, balancing out well with the matcha. At $9 each, the drinks felt a bit steep, but the quality truly justified the price. Since I'm rarely in Tukwila, the small splurge was well worth it... especially since I finally crossed 'Einspanner' off my culinary bucket list after years of waiting!

For food, everything hit. The wings were packed with flavor and came with six per order. The bánh khọt were cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside but still tender, and they definitely don't skimp on the veggies. The spring rolls were wrapped beautifully and super fresh - you really can't go wrong there. The peanut sauce was top tier too. Pro tip: add a little Chin-Su to the sauce for an extra kick.
