Omg! This Asian Bakery rocks! I wish I didn't live so far away. I would come here all the time if I…read morelived in the area. So delicious! I had a cream puff, an eclair and a fruit tart and they were all fabulous. Sweet but not too much and the pastries were perfectly flaky. Also, the cream puff was way better than Beard Papa. Nice, clean modern place and the lady who waited on me was lovely. If you like baked goods, go here!

We stopped by and when you enter, the smell inside is absolutely heavenly. I don't think I have ever entered such a wonderful smelling bakery. We were greeted by the sweetest female employee who was patient with us while we were trying to decide what to get. It was still really early so we weren't super hungry for sweets so we got a cream puff each. I got the pandan one while my boyfriend got the regular one. They were absolutely perfection, the filling was super yummy! I want to come back to try their other flavors. The macarons looked amazing and they have quite the selection as well as their cupcakes too. I will have to stop by more to get some more sweet treats. They have cakes too or you can order them as long as you give a few days heads up. They have a counter top to enjoy your sweets right away. They also have napkins just in case as well. They don't offer crafted drinks but had a few drinks in their fridge.

I'm so glad I did because I've been back and tried more delicious baked goods. First off this place is cute and I just want to have a tea party with my besties here. Second everyone is so nice and helpful. Third, everything I've tried has been amazing! I had a gluten free key lime pie bar and it was incredible. Usually you can tell something is gluten free, but not this. The cupcakes are not all looks. They taste wonderful and are not overwhelmed with cloyingly sweet frosting. They have a great balance. I brought gluten free treats home for my baby and she was so excited and impressed too. Their coffee and non caffeinated drinks are made well and refreshing. Basically they do it all really well.

I had a raspberry mazurka bar, a pistachio rose cupcake, and a craquelin pastry filled with buttercream and jam, and enjoyed it with a lovely pot of tea. Simple but elegant. We ordered 10 of these and I wish we ordered more so I could have taken one home myself.

My favorite bakery in the most dangerous location in Burien…read more Not dangerous because of crime. Dangerous because it's directly across the street from my gym. Nothing says "great workout" quite like immediately replacing every calorie you just burned with one of Bakery Nouveau's twice-baked chocolate croissants. I prefer to think of it as strategic carbohydrate replenishment. Everything here is exceptional. The pastries are buttery, flaky, and somehow manage to ruin every grocery store croissant for the rest of your life. The coffee is excellent, the staff is consistently friendly, and it's one of those places where it's impossible to leave with only the one thing you came in for. The neighborhood feels safe, parking is plentiful, and the only real hazard is convincing yourself you deserve "just one more pastry." Five stars. My spin instructor may disagree. Bakery Nouveau is worth every extra minute on the bike.

I love that they make their own chocolate but I have yet to try it as I can't justify spending that much money on a chocolate bar. My favorite item is the twice baked almond croissant. The chocolate is delicious as well. They've gotten much better (in Burien, at least) at dialing in the perfect toast and not over doing it to make it a bit dry and bitter. I'm already planning my trip to pick up some more croissants!

I had heard this bakery originally started in Seattle before moving its food production to this…read morelocation, so after hearing so many great things, I decided to stop by after an early morning workout. The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.
