I had a nice conversation with one of the store employees, who was friendly (another one did not seem to be friendly to me), and said it was (if we did not have a language barrier) that she was part of the family who owns it? The inside was cozy, with decorative tile. If I had time, I would have stayed and eaten inside. My friend suggested I try the pupusas, which is what I ordered. The friendly employee suggested I needed at least 3 pupusas. Not having ordered pupusas before, I ordered 3. They were each at less than $4 apiece. I tried the chicken and cheese pupusa, the bean and cheese pupusa, and the Salvadoran vegetable (loroco) cheese pupusa. I did not know what loroco was, but I was feeling brave and decided to try it.The pupusas came with cabbage and salsa. I took the food to go. You can see the cabbage and salsa came in ziploc bags (which I particularly did not like - but this is what I do in my own home, with family - so in that sense, it made it feel like what a family member would do). I enjoyed the pupusas; the green vegetable flavor was subtle. The cabbage had a little too much vinegar for my taste - a bit sour and it made me cough a little; I got through about half of it. The quantity was good - I probably could have been fine with 2 pupusas, but 3 is ensuring enough - I ate 2.5. I enjoyed my lunch and I'd stop by again.

When I eat here I get one of every pupusas they have to offer, which are chicken, beans, cheese and pork. The food is very filling and you can easily go into a food coma after eating here. The most important thing about this food truck is the fact they are very clean and offer great service. This truck is the cleanest truck I have ever seen. I commend the owner and I will continue to support their cause.

They were the supplier of the Pupusas for the first ever "Pupusa Festival" in Milwaukee at Kochansky's Concertina Bar. They had 3 selections: Frijole (Refried Beans), Queso (Cheese), and Revuelta (Bean, Cheese, and Pork). I remember the first time that I had tried Pupusas for the first time at El Salvador Restaurant. I was hanging out with some friends (some were from El Salvador) after we performed the La Rueda in the parade. They wanted me to try this restaurant since I had never had food from El Salvador. I had the Revuelta, which was filled with beans, queso, and steak and they were so delicious! However, this time at the food truck, the toppings were a bit different. The Cabbage and Salsa had some kick to it and were marinated in some kind of liquid. I'm not sure what it was, but I definitely enjoyed this difference. They had some Specialty Pupusas, but they didn't get around to making them because the crowd was very large and they wanted to supply the regular Pupusas first before selling the Specialty ones. I'll definitely try them when I see this food truck again. Overall, I enjoyed my Pupusas and will definitely eat at this food truck again to try some of their other Pupusa varieties!

Tortillas were crispy and fried to perfection. The consommé was delicious, had me drinking it straight out the cup and was well seasoned, hot, and was in its own something to right about. The red and green salsas were also good. Red having a bit of kick, green was flavorful. I will say that I wish one of them had more heat to it but the acidity and flavors were great. The beef itself was so flavorful and tender, well seasoned, not to mention had the perfect amount in each item. Also, Onions and peppers on the side were cooked great and had me going back for more each time. Also, get the horchata, it was spectacular. This place is small but decorated to really feel like the owners, workers, really care and take pride in the establishment. It had a great ambiance that was full of people on a rainy lunch hour, and I can see why. As a person who works in the industry as a cook, the kitchen, which you can see when you order is neat, clean, and truly has the right feel of 'they know what they're doing and they're doing it well'. 5 stars, will be talking about this meal for a long time and spreading the recommendation to as many people as I can.

Their chicharron tacos in green salsa taste just like mom made them, and all their meats have a flavor you have to hunt down and go through 5-10 different spots to find them in other cities. Service is friendly, and the establishment is what you want a good Mexican restaurant to look like. The TV playing '90s Mexican music videos was a nice bonus. This is the best Mexican food in Milwaukee, the closest thing to it, and probably still falling short would be Atotonilco in Chicago. Don't overdo the brats, and head on over here for delicious and authentic Mexican food.
