Really great Arepas! The brisket is wonderful! Black beans were good and the bread is delicious! Friendly staff, fun atmosphere at the park. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a delicious arepa today at their Zocalo location. I ordered pork with plantains, monterrey jack, and avocado. The ingredients were quality and tasted fresh. There was a wait, but the estimate was exactly correct. I would definitely recommend it.

I love love love anytime arepa. Every time I go, the food is amazing! They have multiple locations but I have only been to the food truck at zocalo. It's a great spot to go but I would save it for a nice day as most of the seating is outside! It's get busy as this is a popular food truck but it's makes for a fun environment since there are a lot of people around. I usually get the chicken arepa with all the fixings apart from beans. It is a hearty meal and will keep you full. You can also get sides from the food truck but typically I fill up on the arepa. It's very good service and you can either order at the truck or use the mobile app. A recommend if you are looking to try arepas for the first time!

Came here with my girlfriend at the Milagers's Farmer's Market. It was a fully loaded sandwich & looked amazing. Very nice employee & service!! Would love to find them at their normal locations more often bc it was great.

SO GOOD. We tried the veggie arepa (with cheese and the spicy salsa) and it was phenomenal. I'm a huge arepa fan and this was for sure top two or three I've ever had. The sweet plantain paired with the rich cheese and spicy salsa was an absolute match made in heaven. 100% will be back.

Super good I've tried arepas over the years and am so happy that there is now a permanent location at the Zocolo food park. I've wanted to stop at Anytime's pop-up events in the past but it just never worked out. Since they've taken residence I've stopped a few times and this will definitely become a go-to lunch spot for me. Their service is quick and simple with their cashless payment, and they are always prompt and friendly with pickup. Uhm, and the arepa's are super good! I've tried a few varieties along with their plantains and cheese torpedos and have not been disappointed. Definitely a great value overall.

We were first introduced to this food truck when we went to Zocalo a few years ago. We got arepas on a whim and while I loved it, it seemed like a truly life-changing experience for my husband as he has asked to have this for dinner many many times since. It's always delicious. I usually get the same thing: veggie arepa with black beans, plantains, avocado salsa, and cheddar cheese. If I'm getting take out, I bring it home and add my own feta and hot sauce to it. Sometimes I get those if we're eating at Zocalo. I remember them being stuffed more and being able to choose multiple sauces and cheeses without having to pay extra a couple years ago, but even now the food is good and is fairly filling. My husband got a chicken arepa and was equally satisfied. They also used to have cheese taqueños, but have since gotten rid of it - a constant source of disappointment for my husband. Regardless we will continue to eat here because it really is that good! The wait times aren't too long either and pick up is really easy.

The photo might not look too appealing but when I tell you this had to be the best arepa I've ever had I'm not exaggerating! It was so fresh and hot and so much juice dripped every time I took a bite. Not to mention there was so much meat and the arepa, you definitely get your money's worth. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area !!

Let me make this easy for you: YES, you should eat here. That's really all you need to know, but I'll expand briefly. Anytime Arepa is just wonderful. They are one of many delightful food truck options at Zocalo, but this is the one I find myself coming back to over and over again. If you haven't tried one, an arepa is similar to a taco, except that instead of a tortilla, the delicious filling is sandwiched into a soft corn pancake (making arepas a tasty gluten-free food!). My favorite option is the veggie arepa, although they have several meat options as well. No matter what you decide on, make sure you add the fried plantains to your order. The slight sweetness of the plantain is absolutely perfect with the savory flavors of the arepa. My favorite salsa is the avocado salsa. It is not particularly spicy, but the flavor of it is just out of this world. I wish they sold bottles of it so I could put it on everything! The staff at Anytime Arepa is very friendly and the food comes out quickly - usually 10 minutes or less. I've never been disappointed at Anytime Arepa and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Really good food & friendly staff. I got a chicken + feta cheese + plantain + avocado salsa arepa and enjoyed it. Hubby got a pork + feta + plantain + garlic salsa arepa and thought it was good - but not as good as mine haha. The pork was a bit dry so we thought it would taste better with the more creamy avocado salsa. Overall, we had a great lunch.

Such a cute lil food truck.

On a blustery evening on the first day of November, I huddled into a small alcove next to a colorful mural in Zocalo Food Truck Park. Other patrons scurried in and out quickly as they picked up food from other Sunday vendors: Modern Maki, Anytime Arepa, and Mazorca Tacos. I would have used the Cash Drop app to order from from my car, but the many months of Covid-cautiousness have made me appreciate fresh air so much more. Because it was too cold to scroll though apps on my phone, I observed the little action and sound there was around me: the hollow clang of string lights hitting each other, the laughter exchanged between the chefs inside the food truck, the shifting sunlight across the painted shapes on the ground (meant as social distancing guides for those in line). The kind chef called my name, and I grabbed the brown bag of my food and hurried home. Despite the drive, my arepa was pleasantly warm and fresh tasting when I got home. Nothing was soggy or unpleasantly wilted, and the bread was even still sturdy and toasted. Inside the sturdy corncake pocket, the black beans were tender and the plantains added an interesting mashed texture to the big bites I took of the surprisingly large arepa. The corncakes (gluten free, by the way) were not as sweet like other arepas I've had, and they were also less heavy tasting. Much more like a pita pocket than a thick cornmeal cake. I loved the avocado salsa I chose for the veggie arepa, mostly because I love the sweet and herby taste that cilantro adds to spicy foods. And the side of plantains didn't taste or look deep fried, like I expected. Rather, the plantain slices were a shiny, golden color. They were chewy and sweet and are easily my favorite version of cooked plantains I've ever tried. The speediness of Anytime Arepa's preparation and high quality of its product really impressed me. Despite the slimness of its menu, the arepas are so good (and will fit a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free diet) you wouldn't even need to try anything else. Except maybe the plantains. Be sure to get those for a simple, sweet treat!

This was my first time having an arepa and I was absolutely blown away. I got the veggie arepa with beans, plantains, avocado salsa, garlic salsa and cheese. It's like a delicious little homemade Venezuelan Crunchwrap but better than what you'd imagine. My boyfriend and I also got an order of the cheese torpedos to split, which comes with 6 in the order and the pink salsa. It looked small but we were full after splitting that and having an arepa each. I would eat this every day for a year, it was so good!

Cannot contain my joy they Anytime Arepas are now a permanent fixture at Zócalo Food Park (I believe previously they were based out of Kenosha and would only be at a few choice Milwaukee events). Anytime Arepas introduced me to the wonderful flavors of Venezuela!!!!!!!! My favorite is the Arepa with beef, beans, plátano maduro, feta and avocado. The owner told me this is the most traditional/typical style. It is DELICIOUS. I'm getting hungry writing this. I have traveled for these arepas (as I have stated before they were in Kenosha more often and I live in Milwaukee). I love them so much that one time, when I was having a watch party with friends of a Venezuelan tv show, I HAD to go with the culture and get us Arepas! Pictured on my serving platter. And can we talk about the value? I believe they're $8, maybe $9 and speaking as someone who can probably literally eat a horse, IF I finish one of them, I'm stuffed. It doesn't look like a lot of food but they stuff those beautiful pouches with so much mouth-watering goodness

The owner is one of the nicest people you will meet and you can see the sheer passion just oozing from him. He makes you feel like a guest in his own home and he is so obviously proud of the food he serves. That pride is well deserved -- this is some of the best Venezuelan food I've ever had, anywhere in the world. The pabéllon and the reina pepeada are especially worthy of mention, with the pabéllon in specific being one of the best things I've ever eaten. The yuca frita is delightful -- fried to perfection, with a delicious chimmichuri-esque drizzle. The kids arepa is hilarious and hilariously good -- a ham and cheese delight tuned for the very German influenced palate around here. My kids and I hope to sample every last item on the menu. My only worry is that this is not a style of food that generally gets a lot of attention in this town -- this place is always rather empty whenever I come. I would love to see lines out the door, because that's what this place deserves, and that's how good the food is here. The fate of many ethnic restaurants in this area seems to be to go under -- and oftentimes that's not commentary on the quality of the food. The palate of the general population in this area tends to be less adventurous, and that puts restaurants like this at a disadvantage. That is to say: please come experience this place. Please come eat here. Please help make sure that this place sticks around.

It's a large space and feels a little bit still like a fast food joint, but that's okay. It doesn't detract from the food. Our arepas were very good - mine was black bean and quite filling. My friend had a chicken arepa de choclo. We also enjoyed an order of elote on the side. I had a pisco sour, which was excellent, and pretty with the fun foam pattern on the top.
