CAD came a few days after I called for an appointment. I was really going through it hearing the rats in the walls all night every night after my tenant moved out and I stayed there to do restoration work. Charlie Staggs, their technician who normally works Carson City made the call and not only got rid of the rats in my house but educated me on what I needed to do to keep them from entering which included trimming some tree branches and plugging up several entry points. He went over and above what was called for by the contract. Spraying for maggots and searching the crawl space to find a rat that died far from where the trap was originally placed. So friendly and professional! This past October, I needed a pest inspection due to a refinance application. I have a company I use for quarterly pest control, but they don't do inspections. CAD had great reviews online, and I had a great experience with them as well. The scheduler was friendly and got me a quick appointment. The technician was thorough in his inspection and gave me good advice on what I can do to keep the critters away. Nowadays everything is electronic and I got my report and invoice emailed quickly to me so I could upload it to my bank's website for mortgage applications. Very efficient! It's no secret that I'm a fan of using locally owned, small businesses for services when ever possible and there's a reason for that. I have used these folks for six years now and I'm as pleased with my last service as I was with the first. I reached out to CAD to schedule a pest inspection that I felt needed to be done quickly. I called these guys because I felt like I'd have more peace of mind having professionals do an inspection and that's exactly what they were. Sarah(?) on the phone was polite and friendly and efficient, and I got an inspection scheduled in the next couple days, very easy. Day of the inspection, they called about 10 minutes before they'd be there, just like they said they would. Eddie who came to inspect the house was great! Very knowledgeable, was good at responding to my questions and concerns in a way that didn't make me feel like an idiot, lol. Inspection was quite thorough. I'm confident in their services, cannot recommend them enough. Billing and payment was easy and transparent through the whole process. These guys are my heros. I had found termites and they took care of them quickly and no smells. Another time I found wasps in the house, I called someone else first and they refused to come unless I signed a contract to have them come out on a regular basis to keep pest at bay. Oh, lets call CAD again. They were out within about 1/2 hour of my call. Being allergic to bees I admit I was scared because the wasps just kept coming. Was looking for a place to spray my fruit trees, a friend told us about CAD. So I emailed them Monday mid afternoon and they emailed and left a voice message for me they could be at my house at 7:00 the very next day!! In the Pest Control arena when you find an honorable and professional company, you stick with them. CADs materials are extremely effective and safe. In factnn the chemicals they use are safer than household bleach. Our pets and garden have displayed no ill effects for 15 years. One thing for certain is we are virtually insect free year-round. CAD sprays the entire exterior yard, crawl spaces and home interiors. No spiders. No earwigs. No scorpions. No beetles. Amazingly, friendly insects like preying mantis, dragonflys, crickets, butterflies, bees and worms are unaffected. Their routine service is twice a year and very affordable for working families. I called CAD to resolve a mice problem in our home. We recently had pavers put in on our patio and the problem began. I selected CAD because of all the great reviews. Their person said they wouldn't put traps under the house, only bait. He did not check the attic and told me they don't try to find how the mice ate getting in or out. I had CAD Pest control service our house for spiders and mice twice. The first time, less than two years ago, they did such a good job spraying all around the outside, in the garage and the crawl space, that I did not need to have them come back. I called for service again the end of July 2019 and this time the person did not spray in the garage and spend perhaps 5 minutes in the crawl space. When I questioned him he said he sprayed outside, around the house. I accepted his explanation but one month later we had spiders in the house again. I called the company and receptionist explained that CAD guarantees their work for TWO WEEKS ONLY, but she would speak to the owner and call me back. Several days later, she called back with the same response. What business charges $400 and guarantees their work for only two weeks?? read more
