So the day came and the exterminator wouldn't spray because he said our stuff was in the way. He gave specific instructions as to what he needed and said he would come back the day after Thanksgiving. We prepped the kitchen and bathroom exactly as he said before he said the day, the day after Thanksgiving or Family Day. He never showed. Our Thanksgiving ruined, all the contents of the kitchen and bathroom piled into the front room for over a week and he stands us up. When we talked to the leasing office they said the exterminator had no authority to reschedule the original appointment to begin with. The office rescheduled the appointment for the following Friday. So there we were with our apartment in shambles another week. That following Friday the exterminator arrived late a little bit for the appointment, but he did arrive. The treatment went rapidly and the insecticides he used left no lingering oder. Yet do you know what the big chaff was? Our apartment had no bug problem to begin with. All the ordeal for nothing! Not a single dead bug found when we returned a few hours after treatment. We had just moved into the apartment a few months before. It was immaculate. But the cost that management exacts to keep it that way, hiring an exterminator near a holiday presumably because they get a break on the price then is awful. No one wants to tear apart their kitchen near Thanksgiving or Christmas or any other holiday. It does not speak well of the management of the apartment complex or of the pest control company.

Instead of speaking to someone informed about the services and knowledgable about the local area, I received someone who was pleasant and friendly, but reciting a script with the desired outcome of signing me up for a year's worth of monthly services without ever assessing the actual problem. On top of that, the entire process of this call was extremely lengthy and to complete it and hang up, it required a lot of personal information, including a credit card so they could process payment after the tech did visit to assess! I called in specifically to address rodents in and around my home, something this company was founded upon, but what I was being sold were general pest control services on a recurring basis, and that was necessary to get someone out to my house to actually see what was happening firsthand. This type of sales tactic is doing a disservice to the consumer, the company, and the very technicians hired to service the clients and should be remedied ASAP. I personally felt I was taken advantage of and called right back to cancel the appointment.
