I googled and found CableWholesale. I was not familiar with building and troubleshooting network cables. Daniel and Miguel both jumped in to help me determine my course of action to troubleshoot my issue. They showed me how to use the $700 meter I bought for the task and even gave me batteries so they could demonstrate it to me. Not only that, but after discussing my issue they recommended replacing and gave me a female Keystone connector and showed me how to install it. I decided to purchase a punch down tool from them for about $23. I was blown away when moon when just as I was leaving Miguel ran out and gave me a 3 ft test cable for use in testing the Keystone connector I would replace. In an age of mediocre to pour customer service, Daniel and Miguel's were phenomenal. They even encouraged me to call them if I had problems and asked me to follow up with them on my project! Someone walked over and told me that the guy that does printing doesn't come in until 2p, so I can wait for an hour and come back or use self-service. It was just one sheet of paper so I opted for self-service. I'm preparing to print my sheet, but I wanted to use cardstock so I asked another guy if I can have a sheet of cardstock for my printing job and he said the guy that does printing isn't here so I can wait for him or come back because he wasn't sure if the printer can take cardstock. Unbelievable! There were at least 5-6 employees at the store and NO ONE knew how to use their printer? That is absolutely ridiculous. If you plan to come here to print something, make sure you call ahead to see if someone is even there to assist because it was such a waste of my time when no one there could help. I explained that I spoken to someone a few days before and they said there was no issue. I also noted that the paper says it can be done in an ink jet - I just don't have one. She refused to help me and I was now stuck in a major bind. Frustrated, stressed and annoyed I drive to FedEx Printing team off First Street and they saved the day. It's headed towards the graveyard. But since buying a new PC isn't an option for me, I would like to get a modern-day Lazarus miracle and raise this one from the dead. I called up a few computer repair shops and the only thing that hurt more than the thought of losing years of data is the estimate they gave me. So expensive, and they haven't even seen my computer yet! I found Anami Computer Repair in the Yellow Pages. It caught my eye since it offered free housecalls, lowest rates and I won't get charged if Jack can't fix it. True to his claims, he came to my house to pick it up and called a few times to update me on his progress. After a few days, he dropped it off again in beautiful, working condition! He plugged everything himself and made sure it's all set before he goes. All my documents were saved. He even gave me a few PC optimizer apps to help my system run smoothly. I have some programs myself, but his was better! Everything was explained well. And the price for the whole shebang is completely affordable and reasonable. Other shops would have increased the price from their initial quote, but not Jack Marling. Why hasn't this place been reviewed yet? Incredible service, professional guy. He works on his own so there are no overhead charges. Good to know I don't have to go very far to an overpriced computer shop to get some quality work done.
