I can't lie, I love Cabela's. I go there for 90% of my clothing. Given the weather and climate of the Pacific Northwest, they offer all the shirts, pants, shoes, and socks you could ever need. The prices are very reasonable. The parking lots are way bigger than they will ever need, and they are patriotic with flags adorning their property for Memorial Day and The 4th. Cabela's has a great selection for folks who love outdoor activities. Great place for selecting gifts for family and friends. I highly recommend this place for almost everything they sell!

My kids love coming here. Keep in mind this review is not about the gun counter, but the shoe and seasonal area. We come here for candies and occasional shoes. The ladies who have helped us in shoes have been so kind and helpful. We also had a great experience with the Santa's Village, there wasn't a line and we had an appointment. My husband says this is the happiest place in Lacey. Will be back for cinnamon bears and root beer candies.

So Apparently it takes 3 people over 30 minutes to help a Single person.

Cabela's is always ready to disappoint customers in the firearms section. You can sign in but apparently they seem to pick people at random or employees love to hide in the back. And the employees that do walk around can't assist.

I recently shopped for a pontoon boat and 'landed' on a SunTracker Party Barge from Cabela's in Lacey, WA. . My wife and I took delivery today and still can't believe the exceptional service and attention to our satisfaction. Furthermore, as I just had abdomen surgery and have been instructed to not lift more than 10 pounds for a month I was planning on having my new Party Barge stored at Cabela's. We'll... imagine my surprise when told they could deliver the boat and trailer to my home AND put it in the water! Wow! I was fully expecting to have it stored for a month, however. the outstanding staff insisted on helping me get my boat in the water and so a couple spins around the lake to familiarize myself with its operation and features! A special thanks to Michael and Heidi for exceeding my expectations.

I didn't have any issues until we upgraded to a new bigger boat and took it in for servicing. This is where we started having issues with the servicing and lack of customer service. I understand that have limited space and can only take in a certain number of boats, which is why they have a waiting list. The problem is have is that they don't call you when there is an opening, you have to constantly call them. They also take in commercial boats over people that are waiting to take in their boats as well as putting your boat on hold if it is in the shop already. I guess regular recreational fishermens money is not as good as the commercial fishermen. This has happened on several occasions. More recent example i took my boat in for servicing and winterizing a month ago. I didn't get any call informing me of the status. This is for an entire month. So I called them on Monday and I'm told that they haven't even gotten to it yet because they were short handed, people were out either on vacation or sick, but they were able to work on the commercial boats. Wtf!? So now that my batteries are probably drained completely because it hasn't been on the trickle charger i might have to get new batteries again. Thanks Tom's. Now to talk about my servicing nightmare. A couple of seasons ago I took in my new boat to get serviced. Apparently I found out that they didn't tighten or put on the oil cap on my main motor. Last season when I went shrimping my friend asked me if that oil slick on the water was normal for my boat. I was like, umm no, but I had just gotten my boat serviced and this is the first time out since then. So, it is definitely not a normal thing on a new Honda 150 4 stroke outboard. We opened the cowling on the water because that oil slick was pretty bad. Oil was everywhere in the cowling all over the motor. Just a mess. Luckily we made it back to the launch with no major issues at that time. I called Tom's as soon as we got the boat out of the water. They asked if I could bring it in and they would decrease and clean it up. I thought after they cleaned it, all my problems would be over. We'll, the problems were just starting. It's now another season had just started. I paid good money for them to fix whatever issue they might have caused. I took the boat out again the start of Kind Salmon season. It seemed like everything was working OK. We only ran the main motor a short distance and ran the kicker motor the for the next several hours. However when I ran the main motor to shoot it across from Owen's beach to Dalco it started with the alarm beeping and the voltage spiking again as we just made it across. Very disappointed. I called them up the next day to see when I could bring it in. The guy said he would call me back later in the day. No call. So several hours later I decide to call before they close. No answer, so I left a message. No call back again today. I call again. Left another message. I believe at this point they should just replace my whole main motor. I'm going to write to the better business bureau and also talk to an attorney. This is ridiculous. They should be trying to get my boat in ASAP due to what I believe they caused all these on going issues.

Heres what weve shopped there: Clothes Work shoes Dog accessories and self serve dog grooming Vet care Household and garden tools Grilling and BBQ IF coastal had groceries I literally wouldn't need to shop anywhere else. Its a big store but doesn't have a lot of sales coverage. Now, in my opinion, for MOST of Coastal niche market, there doesn't need to be a huge sales floor presence. You will need assistance for several back of the store items. Griils, fueled heaters, guns, and tools. So plan ahead by ordering online, or ask for help once you're in the building. Be patient the folks here really do try to help. On a recent visit, there side door was damaged. We went outside to look at garden clearance stuff, since nothing had been posted prohibiting going through, so we went out and the door locked behind us. Some customers were walking by and let us back in. We mentioned it to the cashier, and a floor manager over heard and authorized a discount on our purchase. Very unnecessary, but nevertheless appreciated. Besides great prices, and products the self serve dog washing facility is clean and simple and great if you have fur babies that would drown your home bathroom out trying to wash them at home. Several White Leghorn chicks were actively pecking at and eating the vents of other chicks. Three were bleeding severely, and we immediately separated them while my mother ran to get help. Instead of responding with urgency, the employee who identified herself as Shawna became confrontational and accused my mother of being rude for the tone she used while trying to report an animal welfare emergency. When you're watching baby chicks being seriously injured, you expect staff to focus on helping the animals, not criticizing the customer asking for assistance. The store manager, Garrett, later spoke with us and acknowledged that they had more chicks than they were selling quickly. The enclosure we observed was overcrowded, contained mixed breeds, had no food available, and very little clean water. Those were the conditions we personally observed, recorded, and photographed. I reported the incident to the city, which informed me they would be monitoring the situation. I also spoke with the regional manager afterward. He apologized, asked for my mailing address, and said he would send gift cards as an apology for our experience. I provided my address, never received anything, and never heard back despite the promise. The gift cards aren't the reason for this review. The real issue is how the animals were being kept, the dismissive response when we asked for help, dishonesty, and the failure to follow through after acknowledging the situation.
