Hanging with the fish.
Clarice C.

Cabela's is a fun place to visit during the holidays if you have children who like to visit Santa. I love that more chairs have been added to the fish area to watch the fish.

Horrible customer service long wait in line only to be dissatisfied. The employees seem to not care about customers.

I have been here multiple times and it's always the same. If you want assistance you have to use the kiosk. You bring the shoe to the unit and scan the information. You pick your color and size. You enter your name and the area you can be found. Then you wait. It's like pulling teeth to get them to return to check on you. I had boxed up the shoes and was ready for additional shoes to try on. Again, no floor person to provide help. I have to go back to the kiosk to get additional assistance. A royal pain in the butt. What has happened to providing customer service? It's of no value at this business. I did buy 2 pairs of shoes. Now that I know my size I'll simply buy them from the company directly or shop on amazon. For a few dollars more I think it will be worth my sanity. While I'm on a roll I suppose I should mention the check out process. That's about the same as the floor staff. Useless! I spent over $370 on 2 sets of shoes. On clouds and Hokas. The dude at the register states " you want to save $10, I'll enter your phone number, no email is needed". Well he doesn't tell you the $10 off isn't for another 6 months! Just in case you return the shoes. What a crock of crap! Very deceptive. They have since sold my phone number and all I receive is political invitations on my phone. Such BS. AND if you want to order a pair of shoes to deliver to your home, that too has to be done via the kiosk. No store to store transfers offered AND it can't be done at the front checkout when you make a return. This store is a terrible disappointment. Scheels here I come! October 2024

About a week ago, I was in need of some relatively minor gunsmithing. I had attempted to remove a…read moreflash hider that was really torqued on and believed I had loosened my barrel. Knowing that there can be issues if barrel/bolt face headspace gets off by too much, I decided it best to have a gunsmith re-torque everything to specs. I submitted a quote request via Yelp* and within a few hours I received three replies. The first came in at $40 for the fix, the second - which was Barnestormers - quoted $75, and the third just said gimme a call and we can talk about it. Riiiiight... Because Chuck of Barnestormers mentioned the possibility of my having sheered off the barrel index pin, I decided to go with Barnestormers. I figured that if I had sheered off the pin, I would at least be in good hands, thinking that Chuck is going to do a thorough check to make sure everything is as it should be. Chuck is friendly enough. He conducts his gunsmithing operations out of his garage which, as I shared with Chuck, reminds me of my own garage, wherein I place something and then can never find it! Chuck did find everything he was looking for when I was there and, while I could criticize his operation and seemingly disorganized workspace, I was grateful that he was cool with my being present while he worked on my AR. Foremost, let me say that Chuck completed the work on my AR in relatively short order and I am happy with the end result. That said, I was disappointed that as Chuck attempted to remove my barrel nut and delta ring, he damaged the barrel nut significantly by breaking off a tooth or two; really making it an ugly mess! The teeth on the barrel nut were damaged because Chuck lost control of the barrel nut wrench when attempting to loosen the nut. In his defense, the nut was seriously tight, but I think with a bit more care, he would have been able to remove the nut without actually damaging it. And, it probably wouldn't even have phased me, and I likely wouldn't even mention it here had he had a nut on hand (new or otherwise) to use as a replacement for the one he damaged. Or, since he did not have a barrel nut on hand - just in case... that he would comp some aspect of the parts and/or labor on my repair work. Instead, Chuck produced a complete new handguard with barrel nut included as a prospective solution, the acceptance of which would result in somewhat of a configuration change on my AR annnd an increase in costs. Because I did not want the damaged barrel nut put back on, only to end up feeling the need to replace it and incur further costs in the future, I opted for the new "furniture" and to have the issue solved while attention was being given and money being spent. Chuck quoted me $90 for the new, 10" UTG free float handguard, which I trusted and now know was a decent price. The main issue I take with my experience and the main reason for the less than stellar review here of Barnestormers is that, I calculated $75 for the labor and $90 for the new handguard. So, $165 out the door. And, while I did not specifically ask for it, I did make mention of being a disabled veteran and kinda hoped Chuck would feel compelled to offer a nominal price break for my military service to our country. But, when I asked for a total, Chuck said $200. Now, because I am the type of person who chooses not demean another man's worth, I paid the $200. I just felt that there was a bit of a bait and switch of sorts and that, if anything, there should have been a discount off that quoted for my being captively motivated to accept the new handguard and consequences of what I perceived to be Chuck's carelessness. In the end, each of us weighs different aspects of business differently and you very well may disagree with me on this one, but if you decide to go with Barnestormers Armory for your gunsmithing needs, consider yourself informed! I know for myself, I personally will shop elsewhere next time. Live well. Be well. Cheers!

I ordered the parts myself, but I wanted someone with more experience than me to put the rifle back together. Chuck got the rifle back together in record time. It came apart while he was demonstrating the repair & he had to reassemble the gun again. He accomplished this while I was there & made sure it was working correctly before I left. He did a good job, he was competent & friendly. I recommend his services & will use his service in the future.

We were hoping to pick up some paintball pants and a ball caddy. The pants they had were all the same style and not what we were looking for, and after circling the store a few times, we realized they didn't sell caddies. They had a bunch of other accessories, but not a ball holder? As we were heading to the door, an employee finally helped us -- mind you, he was chatting it up the whole time with some dude who worked there, too -- and ended up selling a used caddy to us. We only bought it because it was half the price we would've paid online and it seemed to be functional still. It was great that we got that, but in the middle of checking us out, the guy fucked off to go talk to his buddy again. It took longer than necessary to pay because the guy couldn't focus on customers for 2 seconds. I recommend they improve their customer service and inventory. Once that happens, I might consider going there again.

I've always assumed it was a retail store! I finally took some time to look into it further when looking for a place for my sons birthday party and I'm so glad that I did... this place was awesome and the perfect spot for my 11 year olds birthday. They have an entire party setup inside and the staff is pretty easy going and cool to work with me. There are several picnic tables so you can bring your own food, cake, non alcoholic drinks, etc. in addition they have a pretty cool playing room that looks like an abandoned city for the Airsoft games, and a window so parents can watch the chaos from outside. In addition, there is a side room with 5 x box consoles for the kids to play with on breaks or before/after the Airsoft rounds. It was really cool and all of the parents (who also live in the area) were shocked to see what was hidden inside of this mystery building! Safe to say someone the parents will likely be booking their kids next party here! Our host, Cole, was very good with the kids and the GM, Alex, was really nice and easy to work with as well. 5/5 highly recommend.
