He came out and only did something to adjust the water on the furnace, didn't look at my radiators which is where my concern was. I brought him in the bathroom to see what I was asking him to look at. He said he saw it through the vents. Never even looked at it and charged me $100. He also said he would give me a senior discount. Think I got that? I got nothing and he got $100. Don't do it. This guy is not cool. Don't know who showed up at the other reviewer's homes because it couldn't have been the same guy. I was so shocked I couldn't even speak for myself.

In each case, I was treated with the utmost professionalism (not sure what some of these other posters are talking about here!). I continue to use their services and I will do so well into the future. I cannot laud them enough! For the record, the reason for the approximate three separate dealings over about two years or more is related to issues with the unit, and NOT their poor workmanship. In each case, the team took care of me right away, including a few days before Christmas, when I had water in my basement from the heating unit and NO heat or hot water! They fit me into their schedule and we had a warm holiday! In each incident, they worked diligently to secure the part from the manufacturer and came to my home as soon as possible thereafter. Each time, they managed to get the unit working again until the new replacement part arrived. I have now decided to replace the unit and stop dumping funds into this six-year old unit that has been what I would call a "lemon," since day 1. While the unit was under warranty (5-years), I could deal with paying their labor fees instead of replacing the unit, but now I must pay for the parts and the labor and it became cost prohibitive when compared to the installation of a new unit. I have had dealings with the team with credit cards over the phone, cash payments in person, and they are always pleasant, respectful and conscientious. For the few naysayers, everyone has a bad day, every once in a while, and the customer does not always understand THEY may be having a bad day and how it affects those with whom they are dealing. I find KAEBLE Energy to be honest and they have always proven to me they are there to me help me in my time of need. I will continue to support this company for the foreseeable future.

The room has ac ducts but the central unit works really hard to cool house. most of the time the sunroom heats up the house. Diamond comfort put a minisplit in Sunroom. I think it is really efficient. Only because the big central unit only comes on at a certain temp. It's like now that the sunroom is cooled the bigger one is not on as much. On July 9 2026, I had a terrible experience with Alvin's Plumbing and Heating LLC. Before scheduling, I called to ask about their diagnostic fees to estimate a under-sink filter leak repair. A representative told me it would cost $60 to send a technician, who would then give me a price estimate. However, when the technicians arrived, they never mentioned a hidden baseline fee of $195 just to touch the plumbing. One technician immediately began working without providing an upfront estimate. He cut one inch of a small 1/4" plastic pipe, which fixed the leak. When I asked for the total, he revealed the $195 charge. I was outraged by this hidden fee. Since he was already there, I asked about replacing a bathroom faucet. I explicitly asked if the $195 would be separate or if it would roll into the cost of the new job. They told me, "No, the $195 is going to roll into the cost of the additional job." The office quoted a total price of $225. I agreed to this. After the work was done, they wanted charge my credit card $420 ($195 + $225), completely going back on their word. I requested the manager's number to dispute this overcharge, but the owner refused to honor the agreed upon price. Despite multiple phone calls, I have not received a refund. This company uses misleading sales tactics, hides fees until the work is done, and takes advantage of old citizens. I am submitting an official complaint with Better Business Bureau

Chad Gingras and his assistant, Jason, are two extremely knowledgeable and competent plumbers…read more Initially we had a situation where our 12 year old Bosch combi-furnace decided to no longer produce hot water both for heat and domestic water. Jason worked diligently with the Bosch tech advisor and while listening to their conversation trying to solve the problems we all came to the same conclusion that the costs of replacing major components would be ill advised and another route would have to be taken. After talking with Chad we realized it would be best and more cost effective to replace the unit with a current model of the same Bosch furnace. The order was placed and received Friday morning early and Jason and Chad were promptly on site to begin the swap/installation of the new furnace. Their professionalism and efficiency was well appreciated. The minor problems they ran into in making the swap were quickly resolved and in the end they effectively had the furnace up and running with much appreciation from us. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for any future work that might be needed.
