    march 28, 2026 -- buyer beware!!! alpine heat pumps does not stand behind the products they sell…read more 18 months after purchase, major components failure of the compressor and inverter pcb board. best they could do was, we could get out there in maybe 2 weeks, why don't you try calling.....maybe they can help. alpine's representative had the nerve after it was diagnosed by another company as a known c464 failure problem with samsung to say, "well every now and then you get a bad one, but the parts are covered!" 18 months and a major failure, and we're supposed to come up with another $1,500 to $2,000 for labor and freon. so, they don't service what they sell, moreover, don't stand behind the product they recommended. not to mention that as part of mass save had to have our furnace disconnected and we are stll without heat (april 7) in half the house...tonights low expected to be 25 degrees! going on a week and half of 50% heat, not expected to maybe be repaired on the 14th. they were responsive in taking my $28,000 for the system, and now they will not respond! poor customer service! they take your money and move on! shop elsewhere, and go with company that actually services what they sell and stands behind the products they sell. oh, and they no longer sell samsung....no suprise. only 1 star, because can't give zero.

He (jason) never took out a permit through the City of Worcester. I was notified by city inspector in December 2024. Additionally Jason(Alpine) charged me for four(4) mini-splits and I only recieved three(3) and one(1) condenser. Jason came to my home and I complained to him about mini-splits turn on in the off position. He(jason) stated he would put in a work request ASAP. I didnt here anything for a month until I posted a negative review with Mass-Save and BBB.Do not do business with this company! they are SHADY.

    Had a scare last night with the carbon monoxide detectors going off. We had Columbia Gas come out…read moreand they said it was probably the boiler or some sort of venting issue. We left for the night and called Baystate Comfort this morning (between 7am- 8am). James was at our home between 8:30-9am!! He was able to repair the issue, but warned us that our furnace is on borrowed time. He was very knowledgeable while explaining the process of a replacement and how it would benefit our home. He also was patient answering all of our questions about other options (routine maintenance, duct tape, prayers, etc :). In the end, he will be sending us a quote for a new furnace and hot water heater in one system, and we are working on setting up a game to pay for it. Thank you, James, for making us feel as ease with the no more carbon monoxide and moving forward with a new system!

    If I could give negative stars, unfortunately I would. After dealing with issues with my furnace in…read more20degree weather I was told to call Reidy Heating & Cooling due to a recall issue. Unfortunately, I had the wrong company But I was unaware. However, instead of them explaining that to me, they were beyond rude. I was very nervous due to the fact that I have three young children, one of which who has sickle cell disease and can go into a crisis at any moment leading us into the hospital for God knows how long. Instead of dealing with empathy and common human courtesy And explaining to me, they were not the ones to fix it, they treated me with complete disregard and disrespect. I understand and I'm not having the capacity to come and view it or fix it, especially with the part not belonging to them. However, they made me feel more than less than. They made me feel stupid and little. Their business etiquette was very subpar. I hope none of their children ever have to deal with the issues That my son has to deal with. The The receptionist was beyond rude and let it be known that I was interrupting her afternoon. And the owner was a complete jerk who told me he had a solution and then hung up in my face. Even if they provided exceptional work, their customer service was in the trash. Since I couldn't explain to them how hurtful they were on the phone, I guess a review online is the only way to do it. I'm not one for negativity, especially spreading it around however, this business does not deserve a positive from me. The most positive thing I could walk away with is not having these people in my home.

    We paid extra to be a "Premier Customer" which supposedly would put us ahead of regular customers…read more A Tech (Jose) was here yesterday for a seasonal checkup. We had had no problems with the heat. He said we needed a capacitor so we paid an extra $110. He left and didn't flip the switch to turn the furnace back on. We didn't realize it until the heat didn't come on this morning. I called at 6:30 AM and got a call back at 7:45 AM. The heat didn't come on after flipping the switch. The best they could do was to send the same guy out between 2:00 - 3:00. I heard nothing by 3:30 so I called the office. I was told a different Tech would be out, who had two customers IN FRONT OF US! I called back at 4:00 because I hadn't heard anything. I was told he should be here by 4:30. We then called at 5:00 and was told he was on his next to last call and he would be here when that was finished. Jimmy came and took care of the problem. Jose had not only left the switch off, but he didn't turn the gas back on. Overall, except for Jimmy, it was less than a great experience the last 30 hours. I would have expected to have a Tech here before 5:30 PM today.

Now , I could understand if we didn't tell the intake person at their business what exact repair we needed and what size pipe we would require , but we did , and yet they were unable to do the repair and told us they could not return for weeks to do the repair. They also threw out there that we should be thankful as they were doing us a favor.? I will say the repairman was super nice and clearly just an innocent party in this unprofessional train wreck. I'm not an HVAC specialist but I do know enough to know that it doesn't take 3 weeks to get a small common sized pipe in their possession to do a minimal repair. Our correspondence was with Jason , who we believe is the owners brother. He was beyond rude, disrespectful and down right horrible Just do yourself a favor and pass.

From the owners on through the tech/install crew, everyone was professional and friendly. They did a great job - including a special request for a framed platform for the a/c. It came out great. Also, everything was cleaned up at the end. They explained everything, patiently answered all our questions and helped us every step of the way: including the MassSave HEAT program and even processing our MassSave rebates.
