    My second floor multi-family home runs on oil, was told I was able to change it to gas by replacing a motor , would you guys be able to come by and check it and also give me an estimate if your able too?

    Please call 413-272-8075 and I can explain why changing just the burner motor is not in your best interest

    We paid extra to be a "Premier Customer" which supposedly would put us ahead of regular customers…read more A Tech (Jose) was here yesterday for a seasonal checkup. We had had no problems with the heat. He said we needed a capacitor so we paid an extra $110. He left and didn't flip the switch to turn the furnace back on. We didn't realize it until the heat didn't come on this morning. I called at 6:30 AM and got a call back at 7:45 AM. The heat didn't come on after flipping the switch. The best they could do was to send the same guy out between 2:00 - 3:00. I heard nothing by 3:30 so I called the office. I was told a different Tech would be out, who had two customers IN FRONT OF US! I called back at 4:00 because I hadn't heard anything. I was told he should be here by 4:30. We then called at 5:00 and was told he was on his next to last call and he would be here when that was finished. Jimmy came and took care of the problem. Jose had not only left the switch off, but he didn't turn the gas back on. Overall, except for Jimmy, it was less than a great experience the last 30 hours. I would have expected to have a Tech here before 5:30 PM today.

A technician came over and thoroughly assessed the interior and exterior before letting us know that it wouldn't be feasible to have the heat pumps service our second and third floors. This was due to the exterior structure of the home and electrical limitations. I appreciated the knowledgeable and thorough explanation of why this couldn't be accomplished. They did, however, indicate that they would at least able to provide service to the first floor only and provided a quote for that.

    march 28, 2026 -- buyer beware!!! alpine heat pumps does not stand behind the products they sell…read more 18 months after purchase, major components failure of the compressor and inverter pcb board. best they could do was, we could get out there in maybe 2 weeks, why don't you try calling.....maybe they can help. alpine's representative had the nerve after it was diagnosed by another company as a known c464 failure problem with samsung to say, "well every now and then you get a bad one, but the parts are covered!" 18 months and a major failure, and we're supposed to come up with another $1,500 to $2,000 for labor and freon. so, they don't service what they sell, moreover, don't stand behind the product they recommended. not to mention that as part of mass save had to have our furnace disconnected and we are stll without heat (april 7) in half the house...tonights low expected to be 25 degrees! going on a week and half of 50% heat, not expected to maybe be repaired on the 14th. they were responsive in taking my $28,000 for the system, and now they will not respond! poor customer service! they take your money and move on! shop elsewhere, and go with company that actually services what they sell and stands behind the products they sell. oh, and they no longer sell samsung....no suprise. only 1 star, because can't give zero.

    If you are looking for your repair man to go to the wrong house , show up late , and come…read morecompletely unprepared for the job at hand then search no more. Now , I could understand if we didn't tell the intake person at their business what exact repair we needed and what size pipe we would require , but we did , and yet they were unable to do the repair and told us they could not return for weeks to do the repair. They also threw out there that we should be thankful as they were doing us a favor.? I will say the repairman was super nice and clearly just an innocent party in this unprofessional train wreck. I'm not an HVAC specialist but I do know enough to know that it doesn't take 3 weeks to get a small common sized pipe in their possession to do a minimal repair. Our correspondence was with Jason , who we believe is the owners brother. He was beyond rude, disrespectful and down right horrible Just do yourself a favor and pass.

    Great experience with A Plus HVAC! We got 5 quotes for a complete gas furnace and central a/c…read morereplacement. We ended up choosing A Plus - and we're happy we did. From the owners on through the tech/install crew, everyone was professional and friendly. They did a great job - including a special request for a framed platform for the a/c. It came out great. Also, everything was cleaned up at the end. They explained everything, patiently answered all our questions and helped us every step of the way: including the MassSave HEAT program and even processing our MassSave rebates.
