Worked with Shai and this company for a bathroom addition and kitchen remodel completed in Match 2021. My wife and I love the results. Recently, we had a plumbing issue. Shai had his workers over my house within 30 minutes. They were able to narrow down the problem to a leaky hose line. I appreciated how responsive and attentive Shai was to my issue, even though the job was completed months ago. I think that kind of customer service is hard to find nowadays. I give a big thumbs up to Shai and CA Restoration and Construction! read more

Shai, the owner of CA restoration & Construction is one of the few business owners in California who you can totally rely on 1000%. He responds quickly to me when I text him. He and his men showed up on time and did a spectacular job. Left the place clean and tidy. I have found my people!!! Anything I need done in my home from now on, Shai will be my first call. I lucked out finding this amazing man and his amazing team of workers. read more

We hired Shai and his team at CA Restoration to remodel our kitchen. As with any construction project, there were some things that we initially did not like. However, true to his word, Shai made sure we were 100% satisfied with each and every detail and did not hesitate to redo anything we were not happy with. Not only that, when we had a minor problem a year later, he did not hesitate to come out and fix the issue. These qualities are invaluable with contractors! We LOVE our kitchen just as he promised we would! read more

CA Restoration and Construction transformed our poorly designed, dingy, dated, no-longer-usable (for me with an injury) master bathroom into a well -thought-out, pristine and usable bathroom. The team worked tirelessly to demolish, dig up below what was once the floor to reroute drain pipes. Water pipes and electric were rerouted, recessed lighting installed. Then the fine finish work was done: tile, cabinetry and fixtures installed. Yes, I made changes along the way and understandably the price was increased to a fair dollar amount. Any issues that arose (such as the wall sconces went out of stock with a lead time of 4 months) were handled without drama. Our master bathroom is now usable and beautiful to look at. Thank you CA Restoration and Construction!!!! read more

Shimon was fantastic !! He responded to my request right away , came out the very next day and disconnected my old hardwired dishwasher that Home Depot defused to do and put it out on the curb for the city to pick up for me gladly :) and installed my new dishwasher and was so careful with my glass kitchen floor tiles. He was friendly and professional and considerate. He was very kind to my husband and I, we are both handicapped. I highly recommend him for all of your home care/ remodeling/ installation needs !! I will use him in the future for sure . His price was also very fair . So grateful. read more

We recently worked with Shai and his team via an introduction through Home Depot Pro Referral. I met with half a dozen GC's and Shai was the last one that i met with. I quickly confirmed our job with Shai, and am happy that I did. He is an easily likable guy, his pricing was fair, and his team was able to start a day later. I was impressed when i arrived the first day of the job. He was present with his workers before i arrived (8am) to our newly bought home. Not only that, but he had all of the materials we had agreed on during our initial meeting (new baseboards, trim, doors, etc.). Meanwhile, we thought Day 1 was purely going to be for demolition. He said the job would take him 3 days, and it took him exactly that. We were really happy with the results and any small issues that we had were easily resolved by pointing them out. We were so happy with Shai that we asked him to do a few other things just a few days later. I would highly recommend Shai and his team, as he will do everything in his power to figure out how to get things done so that the client is happy, and on time. He's very honest, willing, and fair which is something that i cannot say about too many contractors. He manages his business correctly and is willing to go above and beyond for his clients. We will be using Shai for all of our future home needs. Thank you again, Shai. read more

Absolutely wonderful!! I contacted this company without knowing much about them so I gave them a chance to do some insulation work in my attic. I never knew a job like this can be done so fast and efficiently. The crew arrived just on the time that was disclosed and started working immediately, all the floors were covered and they cleaned up my attic and installed insulation and something that's called radiant barrier..the job went on for only 1 day! The guys cleaned up after they finished and took away all the trash. I would definitely use this company again for any other projects I will have in the future just because it was really fair, fast, great quality and above all HONEST!! Great job guys thank you so much for this work read more

Working with shai and his crew was fantastic. This wasn't our first experience remodeling. We had worked with various contractors and designers in the past when we did our bathroom and kitchen in our old house. We didn't want to work with the same people again ( I won't mention who they were) but we really wanted this project to shine and decided to go with ca restoration and construction. The deal breaker for us was talking to their past clients and visiting their current projects. In the first meeting with Shai we felt right away a good connection and knew that this would be the company we would like to work with. On top of that their price was very fair compared to the other bids we got. They remodeled our kitchen, all house flooring, pain, light also our two bathrooms, roofing and garage conversation that also had a bathroom, kitchen, insulation and much more. We got really good feedback and really liked the work we got to see. This was very important to us because we wanted someone we can trust with a big project like ours. Since working with ca restoration and construction I've recommended them to many friends who have considered remodeling. Many thanks for your amazing service. read more

After reading several recommendations on Next Door and the great yelp reviews, we called CA Restoration And Construction for a quote for a master bath remodel. They were the 3rd company we quoted. They were reasonably priced and I could tell they would be easy to work with. The owner and project manager are professional, friendly, helpful and just want your satisfaction. After we demo'd the existing bathroom, we had some design challenges, but through their years of experience and patience, they took the time to give us solutions that made us very happy and the bathroom very useful. They are professional (use contracts and change orders), insured, reliable, flexible and quick to respond to questions via text. Their network of partners, combined with their own team, allows them to fulfill your creative ideas, with quality and a reasonable timeframe. Highly recommend and will use again for other projects. read more

If I could give 0 stars out of 5 I would. Their business plan seems to be bid on jobs, hire handymen to do the work, and then pocket the difference. You'll end up having to hire real contractors / plumbers / and tile men to fix all the mistakes. Complete idiots!! DO NOT HIRE! read more

I've been in the construction business for over 50 years and this company is one of the worst I've done business with. They are extremely unprofessional and they're work is substandard. The final straw was when the second motor they installed for my sliding gate crapped out and they had the nerve to tell me that my warranty was voided because I added a remote keypad, maybe if they had used a motor that at least had a name on it other then made in Japan it would have lasted longer then a couple of months. And Shai(ster) and Eli(er) have the worst customer service skills ever. I wouldn't recommend this company to build a dog house read more

Very satisfied! Ca restoration and construction is doing our ADU for a month and we are almost done and ready to rent it. We never had any problems with their workers or their quality of work. Any request or any changes we had they took care of immediately. They were very patient with us and transparent. Shai and sharon made sure to let us know of any ways we could save cost while still getting the look we want. We also saved cost on things like our counter, tiles, and finishes with their contractor discount. We are about to finish the project and so far everything looks amazing, way beyond our expectations on the design and the construction process. Better than we could have imagined. Best construction experience ever! High quality work, best prices, and very reliable. CA Restoration and Construction came highly recommended to us by our neighbors, after a lot of research into other companies so we could transform our 400sf garage into an additional dwelling unit. They came with the best price, the most creative solutions and the warmest personalities. Shai and Sharon have proven themselves to be committed to the highest quality or work, done on time and on budget. Sharon takes care of the financial side and is extremely fair, honest and caring. Shai is onsite overseeing all the work being done (mostly by Danny and Juan and sometimes Santiago the sweetest, most respectful team of workers imaginable) and Shai was always willing to come up with creative solutions to make our small ADU as beautiful and functional as possible. Shai and Sharon treated us like family in the way that they patiently responded to every concern, found ways to rebalance the budget after the city required extra expenses, did beautiful work and were genuinely committed to making us happy. Total success. Renovations are stressful but it is still all smiles every time we see them, right to the end. We are thrilled with our new garage apartment, it looks like a beautiful, functional, well designed cottage, done to perfection. read more

I guess I'm the only one that had a terrible experience with this company. Shai and Sharon are really great guys. Great communication ( initially ), pleasant and on time. That said almost every aspect of my home repair had issues and to this day (over a year later) there are still issues that they just gave up on. My house suffered major damage from one of the fires. It needed a new roof, that leaked on at least 4 different days until they finally did a fix to stop it but they never came back to correct the fix. My "brand new" roof has a major patch on it and does not at all look brand new. The new stucco wall on the side of my house had a number of cracks. They came back to "repair" them and the put a spotty, splotching coat of paint over it. From electrical to roofing to finish work every phase was done with some sort of problems. My family business growing up was home building so I know all about every phase of construction. All of the people who worked on my house were very nice but the work was sub par. They even broke MY wheelbarrow and punctured a hose. Who uses the home owners tools? I still haven't ruled out legal action. I am just greatly disappointed that they left me hung out. I don't like to give bad reviews but felt I had to do this. read more

We had just bought a home in Winnetka and were referred to Sharon at CA Restoration & Construction. He and Lily could not have been nicer or more accommodating! There was a lot to do and Sharon gave us a very competitive, thorough bid and was very prompt with communication. We absolutely would have started our renovation with him but a family emergency came up that took us out of state before we could start, so the project is on hold for now. However, I would not hesitate to refer CA Restoration and Construction based on the amazing customer service I received! read more

After purchasing our first home I decided I was going to have the kitchen of my dreams . We called several companies. Some showed up late and some companies didn't show up at all. I can't tell you how thankful we were to have stumbled upon Sharon and his team at CA Restoration and Construction . Aside from the fact that he was on time and highly professional , He was extremely friendly as well. He listened to our ideas and It was very evident he was willing to work with us to provide exactly what we where looking for . After completing the kitchen remodel they even worked in a couple changes my husband made along the way. Whatever we needed / wanted, they worked hard to provide. We could not be happier with the finished product and the company. We will continue to use them for all our home remodeling projects. I have even recommended them to our friends and neighbors. I own a home in Los Angeles and I had earth quake retrofitting done from Built Strong Construction. They did a great job and the general contractor on the job referred me to Ca Restoration & Construction. I wanted to build a guest house and I contacted the company and spoke to a young man by the name of Shai. He came out meet with me in my home. I gave him a set of plans which he took to the building department. He was fast and efficient in getting the results that were needed. Unfortunately we could not build. The neighbors set back is to tight. I would need to demolish the garage and build a second story guest house. This is not quite what I had in mind. It would cost about $80,000. The young man Shai did everything I needed and got all the information without wasting any time. He really was a good listner and followed up on exactly what I want to know. Thank you Shai and I will keep you in mind for my next remodel. These days there are very few people I can recommend. I can honestly recommend Ca Restoration & Construction. I was very pleased with the professional integrity of this Company. read more
