Ivan patiently consulted us on every available material: concrete, stamping, coloring, and many styles from different providers of concrete pavers. None really resonated with our vision. After a month of research we ended up selecting clay pavers for their traditional look and lasting quality. The problem was that no contractor in our area would even consider working with clay pavers. Initially Ivan also refused but with some prodding he actually agreed to install clay pavers and did an amazing job. The team would start consistently punctually at 7 am and worked full days. Ivan, the owner, would work on the job 100%, including operating the equipment and setting the pavers. The site was kept reasonably clean and the process was well organized. We love the results. Our house became the model for the street as a first house with pavers. Many people complimented on the improvements and expressed the desire to contract with Ivan's Masonry. They also handled paver repairs along the way and made sure the finished work met our standards. Joe is a real pro, very communicative throughout the project, and even called to check in on days when he was not on site with his team. What I appreciated most was that their biggest concern was making sure we were happy with the project and keeping the customer first, which is very hard to find these days. After getting bids from other paver contractors, we are really glad we found Titan Pavers, and if you are debating between other companies, go with Titan Pavers because they will get the job done right.

She saved us space in ways I definitely couldn't have conceived of on my own. She said the remodel would be like doubling our living space, and she was right! Scott oversaw the construction from start to finish. He was very attentive and obviously cared about and was fully invested in the success of the project. He had an expertise with plants and gave great guidance to give me the colors I wanted in plants that would work for our space and the SoCal heat. I am constantly smiling at the plants Scott suggested. They are thriving, and I wouldn't change a thing. The crew was respectful, clean and did a beautiful job. It was a long project, but Pacific Outdoor kept their initial timeline. Our main reason for going with Pacific Outdoor was that they were a one-stop shop. They could do everything. I try to find a time to reschedule (there's no emergency here thankfully) and he says it's 1000 dollars plus the repair to come on a Sunday. 4. Says photos will be taken down like in the past. He responded quickly, and we discussed what we were looking for in re-purposing the rear 1/3 of our property. He described his vision and methods, and provided a very reasonable quote. We decided to move forward, and we left it up to him to provide and plant what was needed to create a perfect space that was both functional for entertainment and really pleasant to just relax and enjoy. Gio and his team did not disappoint. He met (and exceeded) our expectations, and stuck to the schedule and budget. And he didn't just create planter areas and new lawn, he also installed a paver walkway to match our existing patio stones. When he was finished with the original scope, he offered to maintain the rear yard to make sure our investment (and his hard work) would continue to look as good as the day he finished. He is not a typical "mow-blow-& go" gardening service. When he and his team arrive, they look around, see whatever needs care and attention, make everything right, and leave every inch of the yard neatly trimmed and clean. I interviewed 3 contractors before deciding on My Cali Builders. I was referred by a kitchen designer I met while wandering into a store looking at kitchen cabinets. I asked her for a contractor referral if she knew of a good one. She told me she does most of her jobs with My Cali Builders. All the contractors I interviewed were good and I felt competent and would do a good job but I felt a connection with Danny Raz, the owner. I felt during a few interviews he listened to me and assured me he would be with me every step of the way since I had never done a full complete remodel on my condo before. I believed him. It was a 5 month remodel because I had to even out my slanted flooring. Danny did not disappoint me at all. He is a perfectionist as I am. Every decision I had to make he explained the pros and cons whereby I could make an informed decision about what I wanted. He always showed up on time, he never canceled, and all of his workmen were respectful, knowledgeable, worked clean, and I was more than satisfied. I love my condo now. It is stunning! We absolutely love how our backyard turned out! The new overhang and outdoor living area has completely changed how we use the space. We spend so much more time outside now, and it has become one of our favorite parts of the house. We also entertain quite a bit, and the new space allows us to comfortably host a large group of family and friends. We used My Cali Builders helmed by Danny recently for our roofing and rain gutter project and are pretty much the envy of the neighborhood. We decided to up the ante and update our insulation and 70+yr old windows. Windows are ordered and I'll update that process when it's finished. our insulation was old, our house had a difficult time keeping the inside comfortable. the My Cali Builders crew was in and out-the insulations was striped are to the rafters and the new insulation was laid in quickly and professionally. On top of his excellent communication, his work ethic and professionalism really stood out. Before starting, he provided a clear and detailed estimate, along with his license number, insurance, and workers' compensation information. The work also comes with a 10-year warranty, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. The entire project was completed within 5 days, exactly as promised in the contract. Solomon's commitment, professional insight, meticulous attention, and hands on approach during the planning and execution has been invaluable to us. While he will execute your vision, he would also provide his own insight to help us think through any considerations as to why or why we shouldn't do something. Whether it was just not worth the cost, add value to our home/lifestyle or a find potential alternative/balance. The statement of work he provides is fully laid out and he explains line by line to ensure we're on the same page. Payments were scheduled for specific milestones. This was our first major remodel endeavor, so quite an exciting and scary process considering the potential investment and living adjustment during the process. We initially reached out to Solomon regarding adding square footage to our home. A 4' bump forward, adding an additional bedroom, and bumping the back of our house for a new kitchen. He was very clear up front of the overall process, timeline and expectations to ensure we knew the order of sequence of how the project would roll out. He spent a good 6 months with us during the planning and design phase, from engineering, blueprinting and permitting. We also visited some of his previous customers and talked to his customers and they all shared the same sentiment of his approach and quality of work. While we did not end up moving forward with the remodel, as we decided to purchase a new home, we did however need to get our home rent ready. This included a new roof, new gutters, stucco, paint exterior, retaining planter wall, new porch and backyard deck. Without question we stuck with Solomon and he was more than happy to work with us, while a smaller scope of work it was still quite a lot of moving parts. All while also re-leveling and tiling my mother in law's balcony. It's important to understand that any significant project requires a partnership and open communication. Bumps are expected but the open communication we had was all it took to make sure both parties were on the same page. It's also important to note that it's also my responsibility as the customer to be available and respond in a timely manner to ensure his teams stayed the course as key decision points. The end result was exactly as we expected. While we continue to search for a new house, we are now leveraging Solomon's expertise and he's assisting us in vetting houses that we may be interested in to ensure it's a sound investment I without a doubt highly recommend Solomon for any project you may have in the pipeline.
