In my mind, someone could just wipe it back to factory setting/install and it would work great. I asked BNet to fix it, and the gentleman explained that it really wasn't worth fixing. At first, I thought "okay, he's just trying to force a sale..." I was wrong, and yet a bit right. He *DID* have a computer to sell me, but it was an AWESOME deal. They buy excellent (HP, Dell, etc.) laptops from top tier companies that have a two year "technology refresh" contract. Into these 2-year-old laptops, they wipe the memory, put in a new HD, new battery, a fresh install of the OS (Win10 on mine) and recent MS Office. They even through in a new power brick and cord. The price? $200 for mine. (I'd guess this may be slightly higher by now, or based on the batch they have received/refurbished). I will never buy another brand new laptop while living in B'more, as long as BNet is in business. Good shop, and a great deal on a computer that's still running strong

I had done…read moreall the things on the internet: cleaned port with tooth pic/ tooth brush, tried different cables and power blocks including my 60w MacBook charger, , and hard reset. Still unable to charge iPad Pro. The technician plugged in his charge port diagnostic device and showed it was normal. And had current draw. The iPad was able to charge using his cables and power blocks. No fee was charged for that service. Service was quick and friendly. I still got home and was unable to charge my iPad Pro with my existing blocks, but using one of the same cables it seems to charge when connected to my MacBook. So maybe it has something to do with software communication or the usb c controller

I searched issues and solutions. Despite my backups, reset attempts and iOS trust, my phone went black. Twelve hours later, I could feel all my missed calls vibrating under a black screen. A simple phone fix search led me to a small zoned-for-business house on Second St. in Laurel. Even though they were about to close, they fixed my phone and we chatted at their prompting. I didn't want to part with my greenbacks. But the price was less than the last time I had an issue several years ago. And the service was friendly and extremely competent. So here's hoping I never have to see these phone doctors in lab coats again. But if I do I believe their great bedside manner and efficiency will make me a satisfied outpatient and repeat customer.
