I love a burrata salad, and would get it at many Italian restaurants. I was excited to try it at Sicilian Butcher, however when I got the dish I was sad and disappointed. The dish is $18. And from the description in the menu, it says Burrata & heirloom tomato. I was expecting to get the usual Burrata cheese pouch on top of a salad or at least a good amount of cheese that I can cut into it. But this dish barely has any burrata, 10% burrata and 90% tomato. The burrata was sooo little. So I basically paid $18 to eat a plate of tomatoes, which is very overpriced. My friend loves pizza so we got the sausage pizza $23. This pizza style is the really thick bread. Although the bread is good but it is too thick that when you eat each bite, the bread overtake the toppings. I can barely taste the sausage or veggies because it was so much bread, and the bread is kind of soggy. Again, over price for the pizza for 1 person portion. Lastly is the calamari, this dish was great. Good thin batter on the outside, with the calamari with a good balance of chewiness on the inside. $20. For 3 small dishes, $60, plus tax and tip $75. Very overprice for an ok level food. Sadly I probably won't be back due to this reason.

The floor space in the original side is greatly improved by the repositioning of the bar to the adjacent expansion. The new bar has a full length salt water aquarium with a few fish to start. A salt water aquarium is a major undertaking that must be done gradually to succeed but this looks like an amazing start. The food continues to be delicious with the addition of multiple items in almost every course. We started with the Burrata, Prosciutto and Bruschetta. Each component was delicious. For the main course, I had the Chicken Milanese which is served at the table with the sauce and cheese being slid onto the crispy breaded Chicken cutlet and a side of spaghetti. My wife had the perfectly cooked Chilean Sea Bass and the perfect accompanying glass of wine suggested by the owner, Nikola. My son-in-law had a new dish, the beef wellington. It was also exactly as he likes it, medium rare and super tender. For desert, we had the canoli. The service was excellent yet not intrusive. Best wishes on the new expansion Nikola. With food like this, you should have no trouble filling the space.

The prices are also definitely on the higher end across the menu. I don't think I've ever seen a Beef Wellington priced at $94 and the Cacio E Pepe was $42 with no protein! The table side cooking presentations were also extremely underwhelming and they leave them out and cover the cheese wheel with a towel which definitely ruins the anticipation. The service was also disappointing. Our waiter was new but kept using that as an excuse to everything that went wrong and they forgot every single thing we requested (butter for the bread, chili flakes for the pasta) & we had to ask others for it. We also made reservations online and it wasn't stated that we'd be sitting outside and patio dining isn't my preference in AZ in September.
