I was surprised at the number of options on the menu. I thought it would be more of a fast food vibe. I ordered a large spaghetti with half marinara and half alfredo, meatballs, garlic bread, a lemon bar and bread pudding. They also have tiramisu and brownies. You can add your choice of meats to the spaghetti, too. My parents and I really enjoyed the meal. The sauce and meatballs were yummy! My son and I were later able to have leftovers too. I spent around $40 to feed 4 people and have leftovers. I think that's a great value! Service was great! The young lady who assisted me was so friendly and polite. She gave me options and explained my choices. There were several people who came in after me and I saw the same service given to them. I definitely suggest trying this place! First time users! Small spaghetti bucket plenty for two seniors. While the garlic toast doesn't travel as well as the spaghetti bucket, this couple owned team are outstanding entrepreneurs! I ordered al dente and despite two 20 second microwave reheats at home later, it was perfect. We pulled up in front of the store, and the co-owner brought our meal out with napkins, parmesan, and red pepper packets, and a high quality chocolate chip cookie! Hate to admit that we stopped here to pick up some pasta on our way home from a trip to Payson. The service was great the young man working behind the counter was super nice and did a great job. The restaurant was clean inside. The pasta was completely under sauced. Nowhere near enough sauce for the amount of pasta they gave you. The pasta noodles actually just had a little bit of a red tint to them because there was such a small amount of sauce on them. So disappointing. The garlic bread was chewy and under seasoned, nowhere near enough garlic. The salad was fair at best. I would definitely recommend that they look at a new vendor for their frozen meatballs because those meatballs they served were terrible. Way too much money for a below average serving of pasta in my opinion. I do not recommend going to this restaurant if you want Italian food. read more

I've been looking to try this place when I got the chance! It's conveniently located near me, so we tried it out on a night we were not feeling like cooking. We ordered Alfredo bucket. For the price, it seemed like we got barely half the bucket when we opened it, which was very upsetting. However, we soon realized it was SO DENSE. The Alfredo sauce was very thick and creamy. Although it wasn't gourmet sauce with herbs and authentic flavors, it definitely hit the spot for being quick and accessible. If I was on the way home craving pasta with no time to cook it myself, then I would order again. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother or recommend it for treating yourself. The service was great though! The employees were very friendly, and our order was ready in 15 minutes. The ambiance was your typical takeout place (much like any pizza takeout store) but with some Italian flair. read more

By the Bucket has become a family favorite. I think its more for the fact that you can literally by spaghetti by the bucket, so niche. Our goto is bucket of spaghetti with meat sauce. Sometimes we are fancy and toss in some meatballs too. We also get a side of garlic bread too! The spaghetti is cooked perfectly, its not mushy or soft which is what I was worried about. The meat sauce is good, I just toss in some chili peppers to make it spicy. Also have picked up a side salad too. Every time I have gone service has friendly and great! If not in the mood to cook dinner and not interest in fast burgers or burritos, go give By The Bucket a try! read more

I was skeptical at first for something so easily made at home. We had the middle bucket with garlic bread. Loaded up on some meatballs (Monday is 4 =5 meatballs). Also had some salad to top it off. Today I placed an order via Google...I accidentally ordered at the wrong location. As soon as I realized my mistake, I called to try and cancel the order. The staff tried to troubleshoot and did follow up with me. I decided to keep the order (because the food is awesome). I came several hours later and the store owners (I assume) were so awesome. Even though it was my mistake in ordering at the wrong location, they remade my order so it was fresh and gave me a free dessert. Truly kind people and great customer service. I'm glad we tried this place out! My daughter's gymnastics studio is about a block away and by the bucket is perfect for a cheap to go family dinner on busy nights. We did a spaghetti bucket with garlic bread and added 4 meatballs. Total with tax and tip was $23 dollars which fed our family of 4 (well, 2 family members are under the age of 4) with leftovers the next day for lunch. Yes spaghetti and bread is cheap, however the convenience of this place is awesome and the fact that the food actually tastes delicious (meatballs were sooooo good!) means we'll be returning. You can't even feed a family for less than $25at macdonalds anymore so the prices here are more than reasonable. read more

I placed an online order for meatballs only as I wasn't sure when we would sit down to eat. Theborder was ready within 15 minutes. I picked up the order and realized I forgot to get some bread. I was able to purchase some of their garlic bread to toast at home. The meatballs were delicious and tasted freshly made. the owner gave me directions for toasting the garlic bread and they turned out fab. I made my own pasta and salad. I was stopped in traffic & looked over to see the store on Lindsay. I have driven by this store many times, on my way home from work, and usually too tired to care. Today, I am so glad I was stopped by the traffic, & had time to run in. I got us the medium bucket for about $20, and we had enough to save for a meal tomorrow.
