Frybread Taco , frybread burger in wrap

Wow, this food was awesome!!! I've never tried Native American food before and my sister recommended it for one of the spots to eat at while we are in Arizona. She was not wrong! I got the frybread double burger and she got a frybread taco same as my husband. The tacos have a chili bean so for me the burger was an absolute knockout winner! The texture of the bread is phenomenal and I'd def recommend this spot to anyone else. The service was helpful and the restaurant itself is spacious and cute, they had a great playlist going on too. Awesome spot!

While visiting family we went to eat at this restaurant. What an awesome place. My sister had been telling us about this spot and it did not disappoint. My husband and I got the burger with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. Instead of a bun it was frybread. Everything was made fresh. Something different and we loved it. The restaurant was clean and the employees were super nice. Next time we come to visit we will definitely stop here.

I've been passing this place for so many years always wanting to go in and today I did just that! (Thanks bestie) It's pretty good. They have sweet and savory items I wish it would have been fluffier and crispier. It was more bread like and heavier but other than that it was delicious. So glad I finally got to try this place This little plaza is awesome. It has like 4/5? Restaurants and a lot of them are connected and owned by the same people? Definitely worth checking out.

I was excited that Hope's Frybread offers meatless Navajo tacos. Stopped by on Christmas Eve and the staff was pretty busy with catering orders and customers dining in. Despite this, they were friendly and our food was ready quickly. I loved the hand painted mural on the wall and local artwork displayed through the restaurant. I ordered the Navajo taco with vegetarian chili beans. The delicious beans went well with the amazing Frybread (not greasy) and fresh toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and homemade salsa). The portion size was large enough to share with my husband. This is my favorite Navajo taco that I have tried so far. For dessert, I had the blue corn cookie and it was also fantastic. I love anything made with blue corn and this hit the spot. I wish I could find this delicious food where I live!

What an amazing quirky place. In addition to food there is interesting art , ghost pumpkins, clothes Service is really good and friendly The fry bread was good. It was not tough or the toppings salty. The vegetables were fresh The classic, honey and powdered sugar, seriously yum. Great place for a quick meal.

Visited Hope's Frybread recently and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The staff was genuinely welcoming and provided the kind of friendly service that makes you feel truly appreciated. The fry bread was perfectly cooked, light, flavorful, and not greasy at all. I also loved the vibe inside with the soft country music, colorful walls, and murals. You can tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. I'll definitely be back!

My brother told me about this place when I came through Mesa for a visit. Being Navajo and growing up on the reservation, I've enjoyed fry bread from my grandmother often. Having opportunities to enjoy native food is always a treat! We got the vegan Navajo taco, the frybread burger, frybread with honey and powdered sugar and an extra fry bread :) Definitely 'indulged' , it's not often I come across Navajo Food, Navajo Owned. Everything was perfect. Thankful indeed. Space is simple, decorated with native art and even has some items like magnets, postcards and more for purchase. Service was nice.

Yum! Delicious dry bread Navajo tacos. Authentic by a Navajo family. My wife said "we are sharing" so I was worried about having enough. Not to worry; it was delicious and enough food. Reasonable price. Quick service.considering it is "fry" bread, it was not a big greasy. Try it

Loved the food! I happened to stumble across this fry bread location and boy am I glad I did! I decided to try a new dish alternative to what I usually get and settled on the smashburger fry bread. It was delicious! Sweet and tangy and hearty. On the side I got the pasta salad. Another good choice! Cold pasta with cheese and crunchy bell peppers. For dessert I got the classic honey and power sugar fry bread. It was a perfect pairing for an end of the meal delicious dessert. Service was quick. The ambience was pleasant and the food was delicious, I will definitely be back!

This was a tasty lunch! I have had Hope's Frybread on my list to try for some time but I wasn't near other locations. I happen to be going to another shop in this same shopping center so I decided to try. I tried the cheeseburger frybread with macaroni salad. I got my food to go and I wanted to taste it while the bread was freshly made. It was good then and even later after being reheated. It was just like a chalupa, if you've not had frybread before. This location appears to be pretty new, it's nice and clean with brightly painted walls and very friendly staff. Glad I stopped in :)

All three of us were severely disappointed by this place. We all like frybread, but the toppings were just not good.

The quality really stands out--especially the homemade tortillas, which take everything to the next level. The al pastor and carne asada are both incredible, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I also love that the al pastor is cooked authentically on a spit, which really adds to the flavor and experience. There's also a great variety of options on the menu, so there's something for everyone. Service is consistently quick, even when it's busy, which makes it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick meal or sitting down to enjoy your food. Their Taco Tuesday deal is also a huge win--great value without sacrificing quality, and it keeps us coming back regularly. And the salsa deserves its own shoutout--absolutely incredible! It's packed with flavor and honestly good enough that you could enjoy it on its own. It really takes everything to the next level. If you're looking for authentic-style tacos with great flavor, fresh ingredients, fast service, and awesome specials, Tacos Tijuana is a must-visit. Easily one of my top spots in the area!

Came here for our Friday lunch date a couple of weeks ago (but forgot to write a review)…read more We had a couple of their tacos (I had the Al Pastor as it was only available on a Wednesday ‍ and the wife had the Costra taco and it was all pretty good. Great flavors. We shared their Flamingo (crispy rolled flour tacos stuffed with cheese blend and roasted anaheim pepper, topped with lettuce, sour cream, avocado salsa, pico de gallo and cotija cheese) - VERY GOOD! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We both had the Modelo Especial with lunch as well, as you gotta do it right! Service was quick as it wasn't that busy when we arrived and were seated - but it got busy not long after.. You can see its a popular place and right in the heart of Tempe so no surprises! It's not a noisy place but far, and quite open, so its pretty average for noise. We will be back - as there are some great foodie places around in Tempe, and Taco Chelo is definitely one of them!

First of all, eating anywhere in Tempe, starts with a frustrating time.... Trying to find parking and having to pay to park. I don't understand why restaurants don't have parking for customers. Idk maybe I don't know where to look. Second, it's hot AF in here. I feel sorry for the guys cooking. It's 105 today and the restaurant is so small, it's probably impossible to keep cool during the summer. Finally, the food. It all tastes very fresh! NO SEED OILS is amazing. I feel like I have won something when I find a restaurant that uses olive oil and beef tallow to cook in. Best corn tortillas I have had for sure. We basically tried one of each taco. (Although some of the tacos we ordered were wrong, so we just kept adding) not a big deal, because they were delicious and we loved them. I felt like the carne was chewy but my husband loves chewier meat. The taco with the marlin was my favorite. And the one that came out kind of like a cheese crisp. It's loud in here and again the space is very small. They do not serve wine at all. But yummy margaritas! The bartender is working solo and working hard! She busted her butt and did an amazing job. And smiled the entire time. She was awesome
