Whenever we're in this area, we'd like to drop by for a Fry bread hamburger. Today, we're returning home to Queen Creek from a 7-Day road trip. We got an Indian Fryeburg burger in New Mexico, but jt was not good. So we drove a little out of our way to stop in here to get a good one. We're a little older now and don't rat as much, so we often split our meals. We ordered the double patty hamburger with no mustard cut in half with a soda and chips. I have been meaning to stop at Hope's for quite some time. Despite growing up in AZ I've never had frybread. I ordered delivery directly from their website. Absolutely love that the toppings for the Navajo Taco came packaged separately from the frybread. Their website was clean and easy to navigate through. I don't live far, and delivery was prompt. I got the Navajo Taco, frybread and beans (lunch tomorrow!), and the s'mores frybread. Everything was packaged nicely. Now, the tastes. I honestly was not expecting it to be THAT good. Wow, this food was awesome!!! I've never tried Native American food before and my sister recommended it for one of the spots to eat at while we are in Arizona. She was not wrong! I got the frybread double burger and she got a frybread taco same as my husband. The tacos have a chili bean so for me the burger was an absolute knockout winner! Came here looking for some good Indian tacos and I'm a little disappointed. The person that helped me at the register was pretty dismissive and more interested on what was on their phone. It was pretty obvious this was my first time. They later moved to making the food so maybe they don't always man the register as I observed better interactions with other guests. When they brought the food to me there was no mention of where the utensils or napkins were and after looking around I saw it against the wall. It would be helpful to let people know where they can find everything they need to eat there if it's not brought to you. This may be user error but I found it very difficult to eat. The plastic fork and knife made it almost impossible to cut the fry bread into pieces I could eat. I may be back to try the burger or lamb dish to see if it's a different experience. read more

I was excited that Hope's Frybread offers meatless Navajo tacos. Stopped by on Christmas Eve and the staff was pretty busy with catering orders and customers dining in. Despite this, they were friendly and our food was ready quickly. I loved the hand painted mural on the wall and local artwork displayed through the restaurant. I ordered the Navajo taco with vegetarian chili beans. The delicious beans went well with the amazing Frybread (not greasy) and fresh toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and homemade salsa). The portion size was large enough to share with my husband. This is my favorite Navajo taco that I have tried so far. For dessert, I had the blue corn cookie and it was also fantastic. The fry bread is amazing. The beef taco I think I had was way more than I could eat. Really it would have served 2 people. The plain dessert fry bread was absolutely delicious. My issue was with the s'mores bread was the Hershey syrup did it a huge disservice. I think something like chocolate chips would have been better but that's my humble opinion. The staff was really friendly and allowed us to pay for the food altogether and wait until we were ready for the desserts. If you're looking for fancy, this ain't it. Loved the food! I happened to stumble across this fry bread location and boy am I glad I did! I decided to try a new dish alternative to what I usually get and settled on the smashburger fry bread. It was delicious! Sweet and tangy and hearty. On the side I got the pasta salad. Another good choice! Cold pasta with cheese and crunchy bell peppers. I happen to be going to another shop in this same shopping center so I decided to try. I tried the cheeseburger frybread with macaroni salad. My first time here. I got the day's special, which was two smaller fry bread "tacos" with Philly cheesesteak toppings. It was a bit messy but the flavors were really good. The side of beans was not as flavorful as I'd hoped, but they have hot sauce available to help with that. I came across Hope's Frybread by accident. I saw customers coming out of the restaurant. I asked how the food was and they said it was one of their favorite spots. Small and quaint with plenty of seating. This place is so clean you could probably eat off the floor. The staff is friendly. I asked the hostess what was the most popular item and she said that I have a hot taco I ordered mine with chili meat and beans. There is a vegetarian and bean less chili option. I ordered my Navajo taco to go. I had every intention of eating it at home... I just couldn't wait. I got into my car and cut off a piece of the outer crust of the Fryebread and I was surprised on how light the bread is in comparison to how it looks. The bread is really nice and airy. Then I took a bite with all the toppings and it was really good. The chili they mak is nothing like a chili con carne. Their version of chili is not heavily spiced or salted. I missed the salt... I think it enhances everything. I would definitely go back again. I probably would just even buy the bread and take it home and pour butter and honey all over it. It looked busy but they moved quickly here! At first, I thought the address was outdated because it's next to a bunch of construction that didn't look like it opened up to shops, but once you find it, it makes sense.
