When I arrived at Lenox, you simply walked up and ordered your coffee before being sat at a table. There were visible menus for the coffee options and it was easy to order. I went with the Haitian Mocha Latte and it absolutely was everything I want my coffee to be. The first sip was smooth and bold at the same time: deep, slightly earthy Haitian coffee layered with a mellow chocolate note that didn't overpower, just quietly lingered. The brown sugar softened everything, adding this warm, almost caramel-like sweetness that wrapped around the espresso instead of sitting on top of it. I don't typically get iced coffees often because I don't want my coffee watered down, but even the ice didn't stand a chance of messing up this golden cup of delight. The latte remained silky throughout the entire drinking experience. It tasted like a slow moment in the middle of a busy day--cool, comforting, and just a little bit luxurious. I can't wait to come back!

I've been attending the last few years, but I only go on the first night, and I know on that night, they offer a few beer options for around $5 so that you can "sip and shop" as you stroll through the aisles. Sometimes it's crowded, especially since the space isn't huge. However, it's a happy atmosphere, you get to support small local businesses, and the prices can't be beat. I always leave with at least one or two items. Because it's so centrally located, it's great to explore the rest of downtown Ballard afterwards!

Walking…read morein I was excited to see that they have once again captured the magic that is Pop Mart in a new location. The store has a crisp and clean feel to it and has all the selection as their other stores. Brands like Labubu, Skullpanda, Dimoo, Hirono, Pucky, Peach Riot, Molly and more! The staff here seemed extra upbeat and engaging, so that was refreshing! I have a couple collectors in my family so I am excited to have a store close by!

She been told she's a distraction but she knows what they have to do and interact with other customers and she goes out of her way to make sure she doesn't stop them from doing that when she is there. It seems more personal than it is to really help the store. She's been called disrespectful when she stopped by for only a moment to talk to someone and was not even in the store. Threats have been made as far as reprimanding employees just for talking to her so she does not come in. I won't be spending my money at a location that would treat someone so poorly.

You can actually walk around, look at everything, and enjoy the market without feeling rushed. There are so many popular food spots to try, but I also recommend checking out the smaller vendors because there are so many hidden gems. I love that there's a little bit of everything here, from food and drinks to fresh flowers, produce, seafood, and souvenirs. The only downside is how crowded it can get, especially on the weekends. Other than that, Pike Place Market is such a fun experience and one of those places you have to visit at least once if you're new to Seattle!

But the real issue was the service. What made it impossible to write off as a busy day was that my server was attentive to the table right next to me -- she asked the gentleman beside me how his meal was and refilled his water, while mine sat clearly empty and I was never checked on once. No introduction, no recommendations, no plates cleared. When I asked for something as simple as pepper, I got attitude, like I was putting her out. I typically tip 25%. I left 15% and honestly felt that was generous for what I received. At these prices, the food needs to be executed properly and the service needs to match. The chowder alone isn't enough to carry a $60+ meal. Would I come back? Maybe for a cup of chowder at the bar. Not for the full experience.

There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. We also got a round of beers. Or in my case I got their hard seltzer, which wasn't too bad, I would probably just get a light beer next time. Service was great outside! Also you get the nice breeze, they also had heaters on top. Picnic style tables and quick service!

This is the most ubiquitous bakery farmers market stand in the Seattle area. According to their website, they are at 18 different farmers market locations in the Seattle area during the summer. It is not limited to Seattle only locations as they are at the Bellevue, Burien, Issaquah and Mukilteo markets to name a few. Their farmers market selection includes multiple types of croissants, caneles, kouign amann, bags of madeleines and several types of bread. Prices are on par with other French bakeries in Seattle. Though they will likely seem pricey to a tourist. Price aside, the quality is good and some of the best French pastries you can find in the area. I do like that they are at farmers markets all around town as it makes more accessible to get their goods without having to go to one of their brick and mortar locations.

I absolutely loved the richness of the matcha flavor, but the ube mochi cookies stole my heart! I loved them so much that I shared them with some dear friends who also became hooked! My next trip was sparked by their seasonal milk tea bombs. I'm a huge hojicha lover and bought 4 of these to try. They went perfectly with oat milk and I was sad I didn't get more. Fortunately, they still have them in stock and now do hot cocoa bombs! Needless to say, I just placed an order for a dozen ube mochi cookies, some hot cocoa bombs, a taro milk tea bomb, and some hojicha milk tea bombs. I highly recommend you get your hands on their drink bombs before they stop making them next month! They are an absolute treat! I would love to try their Shortbread Cookies & Milk Tea Latte Set, but it's usually sold out. I strongly suggest ordering their baked goods a week in advance. They do ship their cookies, but not the drink bombs. Not only do they have a regular rotation of their baked goods, you can also place a special order for cakes. The ube flavor is actually my favorite now out of their black sesame, hojicha, and matcha flavors. Overall, I'm satisfied with these cookies and was happy to share them with my family. They liked that these cookies aren't overbearingly sweet, which I can also attest to. I am not giving a full 5 stars because although it's not the most troublesome thing to do, it is slightly annoying to have to microwave these every single time I want to eat them. Plus it is a little confusing to figure out how long to microwave them after each day since it requires more time as each day passes (this is only a problem if you ordered as many cookies as I did though, which was 3 dozen). I wish that it was made clear on the website that I would've had to do this before I ordered so many of them. Still, mad respect for the business owner, Jennifer, for going out of her way to replace my previous order. I would definitely recommend this bakery to my friends.
